PoliticsRe: Today March 28, It's Exactly A Year We Voted For Buhari, Do You Regret? by babadee1(m): 3:38pm On Mar 28, 2016
I would have voted for a rat to become president rather than to have GEJ continue in office. If Buhari doesn't perform then I will vote against him in 2019. But GEJ was not an option during the last elections and he can never be.
PoliticsRe: What Are The Benefits Of NYSC After 43years Of Creation? Is There UNITY? by babadee1(m): 3:34pm On Mar 28, 2016
Do you know how many intertribal marriages have occurred because of the NYSC programme? My fiancée and I met during NYSC she is from the north and I'm Yoruba. Such a thing could never have happened otherwise and there are thousands of similar stories all over the country.

PoliticsRe: "Stella Oduah's Fraud At Enugu Airport" by babadee1(m): 12:55am On Mar 27, 2016
new2020:
Yoruba media at it again. Igbos open your eyes...the plan is to suspend all work going at Enugu International Airport until investigation( to be announced soon) is completed; similar excuse used to stop Second River Niger Bridge...safety nonsense excuse! When did they start caring about the safety of the Igbos? LOL! The River Niger Bridge suspension started like this with an article of this manner...like joke like joke, it got suspended! The objective as usual...always plotting to jeopardize SE economic gateway...to render the Enugu International Airport potential useless, encouraging Igbos to use Lagos and Abuja Airports...enrich their state tax coffers. Any attempt to stop work at Enugu Airport must be resisted by the Igbos! Enough of this nonsense...as I type now, Second Niger Bridge is still suspended going to a year now!

Wicked country. Any attempt to touch this fearless woman that gave Enugu Airport true International status despite all threats on her will be met with venom!
So did Stella Oduah embezzle public funds or not? I notice you failed to touch on this central issue in your long rant.

Only in Nigeria. Somebody has ruled (or in most cases misruled) a state for eight years and after their tenure they're still crying out for recognition and patronage. Don't these people have private concerns and businesses? Can't they make a living doing anything else apart from politics? Na wa o.

Lagosians are actually consuming atleast over 15 million naira worth of cows every day, this man is clueless and in some places they are killing like 20-30 cows every day

There was one day they killed 10 cows in my presence, that is 1.5million naira in just one abbatoir and lagos has like 10
The governor said 2.19 million cattle not 2.19 million naira. That's 2.19 million x 150,000 naira. Well over 300 billion naira worth.

some hypocrites would fire back at me, how can you support your own criminal(amaechi) but when i support my own criminal(saraki), you begin to condemn me.....
Why are you deceiving yourself? Whether you're talking about Saraki, or Amaechi or PMB, are they not all members of the same APC?
Is the same party not sponsoring all of them? I think it's better you wait for the outcome of the case before you start making judgments or picking sides in the name of politics.
PoliticsRe: Millitary Please Come And Take Over Before Its Messed Up Completely by babadee1(m):
You must be joking. First of all, advocating for a military take over of a legitimately elected constitutional democratic government is pure treason. You are playing with life imprisonment my friend. Second, I am old enough to remember how life was under several military governments and it was no better than now. In many cases it was worse, regular riots, hyperinflation, massive unemployment, no free speech at all. Nigeria was ostracized internationally and there were political assassinations all the time. If you think Buhari is bad now you should have seen Buhari as a military dictator, people were flogged in the streets for no reason whatsoever. Be careful what you wish for, no matter how bad it is the military is never the answer.

Sammyashol:
My observation about Nigeria. Some times I feel like weeping, but never

A country where hard work doesn't pay but connection.

Many of the graduates have been APC/PDP members for years but only good for being a zombie and not for CBN/NNPC jobs.

20 years from now, we will be ruled by the same families. already being positioned by their parents to take over.

The children of the rich can even own businesses and employ workers. But the are never happy unless they get govt money.

So instead of education upgrading the poor, the poor are frustrated and being told to pray to God.

And some youths have being calling for the formation of new party ahead of 2019 please tell me is it not this same set of people that will decamp to the new party?

Nigeria is just an eyesore, nepotism favoured everywhere, an average man don't have hope for a better future. Same set of people recycling themselves.

How i wish the military can take over, so that we can start rebuilding our great country

naija .. I give up...

60 million, and she no d pay d pension sef
How she go pay the pension when she don chop all the money finish huh
We Nigerians are our own worst enemies, when we get into public office our first thought is how can we steal plenty money? Pension money is blood money, money that old people worked their entire lives for and depend on in their old age. Many have died fighting for their pension, but one person without any conscience can steal even from the old and dying.
We Nigerians need to repent as a nation otherwise God will judge all of us together, both the corrupt thieves and those of us who keep quiet and do nothing about it.

PoliticsRe: Southerners Erroneously Think The North Is Dependent On The South - Ben Bruce by babadee1(m): 6:32pm On Mar 14, 2016
Osakah24:
The truth is that Nigerian North and South Relationship is not mutually benefiting both parties. The Northern states get money from crude sales, the south should also get money from the sales of food items,Imagine a scenario where crude oil sales is shared amongst Southern states only, their Northern counterparts will invest more in agriculture so that they too can export agricultural products to the world and even the southern Nigeria. It will be a win win situation for both parties.I really think True federalism will be the best system of government for this Country.
Who told you that the south doesn't get money from agricultural sales? The problem is that oil provides easy money and subsequent governments have become lazy. They have refused to develop agriculture to the level where it can provide as much income as oil but definitely taxes are paid on agricultural products which go into the federation account.

If this is not the said Yunusa, gladly back up your claims by posting his original and true picture. Why are they hiding his identity from the public if he's a young boy as being bandied around by those who have sold their souls to the devil?
The person claiming this is Yunusa is the one supposed to prove his assertion. "Whoever asserts must prove." This picture is from her arrival at the Police headquarters in Abuja from Kano. This man in the picture was standing next to her and appears to be an authority figure, perhaps one of those who escorted her down from Kano. If you say this is Yunusa then prove it, unless the truth means absolutely nothing to you.

And if you 10 year old daughter run away with another man, you will sleep comfortably at night.

The parents said their daughter is a minor with prove and you are here saying another.

So 17 is now an adult in your Constitution.
This is not about me in any way and I don't have a daughter, but if I had one I would teach her not to run away with strange boys. Her parents need to take responsibility for her bad behavior. She is not 10 years old, at the very least she is 14, maybe older. She may be too young to give consent but it appears the guy might have been a minor too when they ran away meaning no criminal charges. It's all about the law.
PoliticsRe: VIDEO: Ese Oruru Resisting Policemen, In Kano -Premium Times by babadee1(m): 10:40pm On Mar 01, 2016
OBAGADAFFI:
You forgot shebis still a minority .
Any responsible guy should firstly seek parents consent before marrying their daughter.
Yes she's still a minor but in a report I saw she claimed to be 17 years and the guy involved is supposedly 18 years meaning legally there is no statutory rape involved. Also she agreed to go with him meaning no kidnapping involved too so the guy is free. The issue is not what a responsible guy should do, the issue is what the law of Nigeria allows.

Dont follow them, we will buy u a plane, that kind of thing.

Bottom-line, she belongs in her parents house and if anybody want to marry her, they must go to her fathers house to seek consent.

Kidnap is very disrespectful to her, parent and community.
At this point it's very obvious that it wasn't kidnapping. They both decided to elope together. The girl is as much at fault as the alleged abductor.

You forget that Yorubas voted massively for Jonathan in 2011, against this same Buhari. You should be asking yourself what changed between 2011 and 2015.

How can i let him know I'm not a fan of his messages? I would have blocked him but he also send work related issues sometimes.
Bro, you better be a fan of his messages asap. If your boss is sending you whatsapp messages it means he considers you to be a friend and that can only mean that your job is more secure. The moment he decides to stop sending you those messages will be a clue that he's thinking about letting you go.

BusinessRe: What Exactly Will Go Wrong If The CBN Floods The Economy With Dollars? by babadee1(m): 6:38pm On Feb 19, 2016
Even if that could work, you don't really expect it to work in a country where greed and corruption rule the day. Even in naira the money is being massively diverted, the dollars will certainly also be diverted. The CBN will not have any control over foreign exchange or access to it. Banks and legitimate business people like importers and exporters will rely on governors for the forex they need instead of legitimate financial institutions.
I think it would be a terrible idea, unless you're suggesting that the naira should be phased out and Nigeria should start using dollars as our currency instead. That's the only way it might work.

Obiagelli:
I am not in anyway an economist but i have been reading a bit, especially Henry Boyo ( truth be told, i get an anytime i do).
I believe we earn our oil revenue in dollars, what if the federal government pay states their allocation in dollars and the state simple exchange their dollars for naira at the bank or BDC.
With this system there will be surplus dollar in the system that will drive the exchange rate down. A good example of this was during the last election when dollar was raining all over the place (thanks to Dasuki) the dollar fell to 170 naira despite official rate at 197 naira.

BusinessRe: When Crude Oil Has Gone Up 4%.. Why Is Naira Still Going Down? by babadee1(m): 10:12am On Feb 16, 2016
fallout87:
APC and their zombies claim, it is the crude oil price/value which is the sole reason for the Naira free falling.

However why did the Naira drop to N344-346 for each dollar when crude oil had steadily risen 4%?

Why?

It is because it is not only oil that is affecting the naira's value. This budget of corruption and the uncertainty of Buhari and this APC government is hurting the naira value just as much as the lower oil price.
Even if someone explains it to you, you probably still won't understand. This may be beyond your level of intelligence.
CareerRe: Is My Boss Forcing Me To Marry His Only Daughter? by babadee1(m): 8:20pm On Feb 11, 2016
kekakuz:
Some 7 months ago I was transfered to our directors office and my life changed for the better. I noticed my boss is very friendly especially towards me and trust me with key responsibilities. He gives me audience during board meetings which am not even qualified to attend. He recently approved an official car for me of which is not meant for staff on my grade level. Over time. I got used to him and I did not know how I unconsciously called him daddy. He smiled and kept his cool. We hang out a lot and he advices me on investment and wealth. Something g I cherish and put to good use.
2 weeks ago he said we need to go pick his daughter from the airport. He dropped his car and I carried him to the airport.
I meet his gorgeous daughter and the meeting was electric.
For the next week he directed me to take her around town shopping and saloon. I asked of my office duties and he said someone else has been assigned to cover for me.
We shop and club regularly but problem arises whenever I told her am going home. She wants me to always be around and am avoiding such offers to avoid doing anything g that will spoil my relationship with her father.
I resume work and the father has began to ignoring me and avoid me, when I ask him what the problem was he reply that
I make him unhappy because am avoiding his daughter.
Then I got the message clear. Now am confused because the girl sweet and cuddly but am not in love with her but her father who is my hero wants us together.
Friends what would you rather me do?
I don't believe this your story. But just in case it is true I'll advice you to either date the babe or just resign cos your boss will eventually frustrate your life if you don't do one or the other. By the way dating her doesn't mean you have to marry her. During the dating process it may become obvious that you guys are not a good match and that will be the end of that.
