A little bit of historical fact for you: The Hausas have never produced a leader in Nigerian history you brainless Yaribaa animal

Secondly, No sane Igbo person recognizes that sick looking iragbiji gorilla as a president, we're practicing sectional politics in the SE under a new political bloc, and we recognize Peter Obi as our leader, you can keep our budget allocation in Abuja, Tinubu and his pack of criminals will be taken out soon, watch out for May 29th.

You mean your papa or another?

Because the President elect, Tinubu killed no one. Only a useless dumb loser would think Tinubu who didn't contest in any election in 2007 had a hand in the killing of Funsho who was even still a PDP hopeful (yet to be PDP candidate) at that time. It was a PDP member who killed him just to become the PDP candidate. Some even said it was Bode George
Thank you for clearing that up. I was always told that Tinubu killed him so that he could be governor of Lagos state. I've now looked at the timeline and saw that only PDP members could gain from his demise. I wish Tinubu can sue that little boys arse for defamation.

Do you know that the vagina of a woman who has been fvcked and mounted by many men has a frustrating smell?
If you marry a woman who has been fvcked and mounted by many men, you will surely regret your marriage.

A widen pvssy can not be satisfied by one man. She will syre look for someone with a bigger diick and you will train the children she birth for that one.

Fvck any girl you want but when it comes to marriage find a virgin woman and marry. Only her deserves your love and devotion.
Only a fool will keep a woman who gave her best to another man in his house as his wife. Are you the fool?

PoliticsRe: I Have Some Questions Regarding A Runoff by Babalegba(m): 2:14am On Mar 01, 2023
AlaafinOfOyo:
International agencies projected a runoff but we didn't believe it. So it's surprising that it's coming from a surprising quarter. A little oversight perhaps.

My questions are:

1) How many candidates would participate?

2) How would they be selected?

A snapshot of the relevant law would help. Thanks.
There will be no runoff. People are confused with just simple English.Tinubu has won by fulfilling all requirements because Obi, atiku and kwakanso were too selfish to unite. They are all bad.

I can't help but observe that there are two selfish, self centred louts on this thread who only care about selling Umidigi devices to nairalanders but don't care about helping out when those devices develop issues. To them, it's about selling the device and making money, any other thing is none of their business. I'll advice any intending Umidigi user to boycott this product. Because they'll readily sell to u all, but once any fault comes up, they turn deaf and dumb. Umidigi is a useless company with no phone repair centres available for their devices. One must not always order accessories from AliExpress for a product that is sold here in this country. As for those Umidigi vendors on this thread, na Ogun go kill una, ediots!!!

Once upon a time, the front page of this forum was constantly filled with news of kidnap and banditry.

All of a sudden, we go days and weeks without such bad news. Why? Because of this cashless policy.

There's no doubting the efficacy of this policy. However, banks need to step up their IT infrastructure to minimize the pains on Nigerians.

This country can be better. The elites that have weaponized poverty are holding us back.
Your parents wasted their money sending you to school. Cashless policy cannot stop kidnapping. The kidnappers would simply demand dollars, which the victims family would pay an aboki for with transfer so you are back to square one with the added problem of dollar rate going up because of increased demand therefore affecting the economy negativelyLearn to use your brain.

Nigerians are very stubborn set of people!

You were given 3months notice to deposit your old note but, refused believing there most be extension of deadline.

If Buhari like, let him extend the deadline to the next 10years, some people will still wait for die minute.

Is only dull brains that doesn't know that El-rufai is fighting for his personal pocket.
Lol, I hope you know that you are wrong. It's nothing to do with depositing old notes but inability to get new notes.

@Babalegba,

There are folks in every country who have emotional intelligence and are able to tame the negative emotions you listed right up there in your post.

You are largely right based on the defamatory and insidious posts some trolls, ethnic bigots and irresponsible posters put up relentlessly on NL but you should have stated SOME Nigerians so that you do not come off as generalizing and arrogant. Period.

All the best.
I'm Nigerian so my view on the matter is not an abstracted one but experiential. I'm a realist.Nigerians would excel where structures are already in place to reward or punish like in western countries but the typical nigerian is just too weak willed and unprincipled to construct strong effective institutions because of self centeredness , general moral weaknesses and propensity for shortcuts.
It does make me sad but the truth is always bitter. Most Nigerian lives are essentially meaningless but there are some negligible percentage of Nigerians who are not of the normal mould.

Remember this though, your father is a Nigerian, your mother is a Nigerian, you are Nigerian.
The truth is the truth.I lived in the UK for more than twenty years and on getting back I realized that Nigerians are very daft comparatively and that someone with a GCSE in Britain is more intelligent than a Nigerian degree holder. Nigerians are impulsive, lack control and are easily tempted
.The economic well being of a country is directly linked to the collective intelligence of the citizenry. Nigeria is messed up because the people there are cognitively stymied.

It's so unfortunate that Nairaland mods will ban me if I curse your generation using Ikale Ayelala.

What type of nonsense are you saying?
Do you know the hardship Nigerians are facing?

After depositing the old notes, where are the new notes?

In many communities in Ondo South there are no banks. They will have to travel down to town about 2hrs, are you the one to pay for their expenses?

Why are you this Fo.....ol...ish, shey ori e gba.....le ni?
Abi what nonsense is coming out your mouth?

That you have access to transfer easily does that mean everyone has access to it?

Some communities in Ondo south no get light since about 12 years now, so they will be using transfers where there is no network?

Will you be the one to pay for their transport fare if they made transfers and it doesn't get delivered yet they are being debited?

Is your No 7 working at all?

Are you really making use of your brain?
No one is against the policy.

The implementation and time frame is too short.

Have you been to market recently and see if they have been making profit?

What is your state of origin?

The nonsense you typed up there, they no born you to say it offline. Forming woke online.

So all your family members and friends have gotten the new notes
Don't mind the fool. I gave up on Nigerians long ago when I realized that their i.q is below normal even after higher education. Fact of the matter is that the old note is what made Nigeria function for the past two weeks otherwise Nigeria would have had anarchy of biblical proportions and of international news standard.

I'm completely bemused by recent happenings in the country. For reasons best known to him, Emefiele is leading the country into a huge recession with all the attendant economic and social sorrows. The parents who have to support their children are in great pains while their children are egging emefiele on while still demanding the hard to obtain money from their parents. In intelligent countries emefiele would be in prison by now but in China, Russia and North Korea he would have been executed by the state for crimes against the country. Has anybody ever measured intelligence of Nigerians. The level of stupidity being exhibited in this country is beyond belief.

Are you saying Emefiele is a saboteur and an enemy of Nigerians. I'm absolutely convinced that Emefiele is a typical educated Nigerian, plenty of certificates but very limited intelligence. He does not know his economic left from right.Just playing along.

Maybe the post below will give you some insight

Maybe Emefiele is a hero of our time
A child cannot walk without crawling first otherwise the bones will break and he might end up a cripple for life. Nigeria has not got the I.T infrastructure for a cashless economy, the system will collapse spectacularly if such is attempted without significant upgrades. Many citizens are not even educated enough to be able to navigate their way in a cashless economy especially in the north but the same is applicable to the south to some degree as well.Wisdom is upside down in Nigeria

Keep ya mouth shut! The CBN mopped up over 3 trillion out of circulation and what it released into the economy was not even up to one quarter of what it took in. Now, where will politicians see cash equivalent to what they had before to rig the elections?
Those dubious figures were offered by a politician with an ace to grind against the CBN. Moreover the politicians own banks and even people that own banks so the new notes around 30 millions per branch according to the CBN simply went straight under the politicians mattresses

The Katsina rally was historically dry even with the presence of the president because there is no cash to buy attendees

GOD PUNISH APC
I disagree.Almost all the printed new Naira went straight to the politicians coffers hence the scarcity of new notes in the street to the amazement of CBN.On election day Nigerians might be so desperate that they would line up behind politicians to exchange their votes for new 3 kl notes

See, I knew the answer was good enough. How do I know? See how you conveniently forgot the "full support of the president" part
In a country of decent humans both of them would have resigned by now. Civilization is yet to catch-up with Nigerians otherwise we would have realized by now that a high position does not mean that the person is above reproach and punishment. From the looks of things Buhari is not that educated even informally so he would accept anything sold to him if obfuscated enough. We HAVE to hold our leaders accountable

DaddyCoool:
Maybe because his policies are very well intended and have the full support of the president?
Is that good enough answer 4 ya?
Sadly not a good enough answer. A British adage says that the" road to hell is paved with good intentions'. For an economic Tsar like Emefiele ,having good intentions is not enough, results matter. Former British chancellor Kwartteng had good intentions as well but was jettisoned in a flash. Dollar to naira rate deteriorated when Emefiele announced the naira change. It is still about five percent worse off despite DSS raids. Nigerians accept failure for some reason.
PoliticsWhy Has Emefiele Not Been Sacked by Babalegba(op): 10:49am On Feb 07, 2023
What does a big man have to do to get sacked in this godforsaken country. Emefieles arbitrary rash actions has caused enormous suffering to the population yet his job is safe. In other countries he would have been long gone and even the president would be on shaky ground by now.Why is human behavior in Nigeria so bad.

You can deceive your Father
You can deceive your Mother
You can deceive your Pastor
You can deceive your siblings
You can deceive your Friends
But you CANNOT deceive GOD.
The young man succeeded in deceiving people but has gone to stand before the One that cannot be deceived.

If your eyes can see you do Evil, the Owner and creator of your eyes has seen you.
What you do in the dark is an open sepulchre before GOD.

Instead of trying to hide and Deceive people, Go before GOD, Confess and repent of your evil and SURRENDER to JESUS for Help.
Your understanding is very shallow. Remove the beam from your eyes first
