So yesterday, i called the lady who sent me the text that i should pay the above amount to a certain Mr omotayo adetola abgaje of Top flight logistics Ltd, then i asked to speak to the said man to negotiate the amount. The lady who picked up said there was no Mr abgaje.

So today, i got a call from the same shipping company, they told me that my delivery is here and that they will deliver it to me.

I asked about the $80 payment, the man who i spoke to was confused, then i explained to him how i got a text message from a number who said i should pay $80 to one Mr abgaje. He asked me if i didn't pay for delivery to the seller, i told him i did.


So i guessing that, the Mr abgaje was trying to scam him maybe because he had access to the delivery manifest.

Nigeria is just full of crooks.What a pathetic society.

There is a raft of sellers on AliExpress currently selling the soundcore motion boom for 25 dollars with free DHL shipping thrown in as well . I do hope Nigerians with the longthroat syndrome are able to see this trap for what it is.

Can i open a dispute?

AliExpress made it clear in their t&cs that the customer is responsible for the import tax so you are unlikely to win a dispute based on that. You need to talk with the logistics company and if possible haggle the price downward. Even with the additional expenses,the product might still be cheaper bought from AliExpress than sourced for the Nigerian market.Do be very careful though as many logistics company cannot be trusted

I ordered a solar generator from aliexpress,i paid almost 32k for aliexpress delivery.

To let you know, i couldn't track the goods with the code they gave me.

Today i got a text message from top flight international logistics limited in ajoa estate telling me that my goods has arrived and that i have to pay $80 into one mr abgaje account.

I called the company and the lady who picked up said that is what is in her manifest.

Goods is worth $280 plus delivery = $310

Now i am wondering why do i have to pay $80 again

They might have paid the import tax for you or intend to pay the tax with the money.

Yes, I went there with the necessary documents and that sped everything up. It took three days and I ordered twenty eight dollars worth of goods today so it's worth it.

No, you don't need a dorm account before you can get GT Dollar master card.

Just go to the bank and request for the card, fill the form and you will be given same day

You would certainly need to open a domiciliary account and provide two referees. I was there yesterday.

They told me the Virtual Card doesn't support international transaction and also i only saw Verve as Virtual card

The virtual card works on AliExpress but takes longer time to aquire and they do verify your residence before granting it.

Some of these sellers can be annoying. Bought a charger around March from the seller and it was shipped with cainaio global and received through speedaf. Now I ordered another pieces with USB cables, paid shipping for cainaio global but this seller went to use one shitty unregistered LP mail.

Cainaio and LP are more or less the same though. Standard shipping and selection standard are registered and more reliable.

Please open dispute and get back your money no matter how small. Take pictures of the item, juxtapose with screenshots of the page where the seller claimed it has DACs and file as evidences.

If many hundred buyers also decide not to open dispute like yours, you can imagine the hundreds of dollars that seller might be cashing in illegally.

Not filing dispute "because the money is small" is what that seller is banking on.

Hi all, I ordered for two type c dongles advertized as having DAC chips on board but the supplied dongles were without dacs and did not work. I was wondering if I should open a dispute but the amount involved is very small,two dollars. Is it worth opening a dispute for something so small.

I have gotten a free ems shipping and got it delivered within 14 days. DHL parcel can be marked free by the seller, having in mind that the shipping cost is already added to the item cost.

It all depends on the value of the product. If a product is below fifty dollars with free DHL,then you should run.
