dabrake: Fashola is working, no doubt, but If you consider how much enters the state coffers(IGR, FG allocation, . . .). you will be disappointed . Lagos state has the fattest wallet but fails to perform excellently. In my opinion, Fashola isn't intelligent because an intelligent governor will know how to prioritize his goals. After going through many details, I've decided not to play into the hand of these Fash noise again(adopting the 'enugu state eba eno' nonsense by chimaroke nnamani). With 20 million people, lagos igr and budget is the lowest in Nigeria. I understand that many of you yell this igr thing either out of ignorance or petty tribalism. Igr is not just about roads and infrastructure alone, this little money pays the second largest civil service in Nigeria monthly and there is nothing like late salary payment in lagos state, the monthly wage bill alone is 5 billion. Pensioners just collected 4 billion last week. Bayelsa with less than 4 million people is spending 6 billion on wages like lagos state with 20 million people which is mass fraud anyways. Its amazing how you people don't look at your states with si much money and smaller population and zero infrastructure or any kind of meaningful projects, they don't even commission projects, but you scream and yell over lagos with something to show for what they have .. |

Sincere 9gerian: Why not provide us with answers rather than try to divert attention? Why is it so hard for you to look for your own answer.? Abi you laptop crews are too lazy to use your 40 laptops for research and seek answers to your re.tarded. questions? Olodo sons of el reta.rdeennodeshilewo. |
wesley80: I didn't post this to please you, if you think its rubbish I'd love to hear your better retort. Please don't excuse your inability to string a coherent thought with a pathetic excuse. The fact that you are entitled to your rubbish doesn't mean I have to like your rubbish. Please get over yourself and pay attention to your topic before it gets derailed. |
afam4eva: Now, i see why those at the stock exchange were against Oteh and while the PHCN staff were against Nnaji.Stop getting defensive with your warped analogy. This is politics section on an online forum, not some pointless and irrelevant stock exchange. You are acting like a needless speed bump, you are messing with the flow if discussion, you are derailing threads all over the place with your unwanted and unwarranted attention. Right now, you are a thread and topic killer. You are an attention seeker, not every topic is or should be about you. |
afam4eva: At times i wonder what some of you want. You can never be satisfied. Why should banning trouble makers be a problem to anyone? Our mentality in Nigeria has to change.Maybe what's trouble to you is not trouble to other people. Looks like you are getting too arbitrary and pointless with this banning thing. You are acting like a lil kid with a new toy. I don't like the op and his usual rubbish including this thread, but that's his opinion. We don't need you waking around labeling people's opinion anyway you want and keep banning at will like a damn prosecutor, jury, judge and executioner. If you don't slow your roll, you will kill this forum in no time. |
carslease: Oya EKO ILE come answer o!Must eko ile attend to every internet and NL rif rafs especially laptop crews and their re.tarded posts. |
manny4life: LOL..Save your rubbish for your kind. You are both bigots so keep quiet. |
manny4life: SO MUCH HATE AND ANGER,Shut your mouth joo. Just making noise all over the place. Who are you to tell people what to do and not do? Are you angling for your own bigoted mod position too? |
afam4eva: I just did. One hour is not too long.Den say you are sensitive and you ban them just to help them prove say you are really sensitive.....lmao. you don't have the character and temperament to be a mod talk less successful mod.. this is really sad. |
afam4eva: The truth is: I'd rather warn than ban. Why that guy is willing to stay out of trouble after being advised and considering that he's just coming back from a ban, some other people are not ready to give peace a chance. At times it's good to use one's discretion.Don't get mad because you are getting called out for what you are. The fact that some unfortunate decision was made to make you a tribal quota mod doesn't mean you are no longer a bigot because you still are. |
lmao @ trolling in this section. WTF are you RRS commissioner of police for trolling? There's just no justifiable reason for making the resident bigot a mod. What a joke. Dude has no credibility. I.can't stop laughing. |
Truckpusher: Another lowlIfe on the looseWhat is your laptop number? Number HIV40? Nuisance. |
Sincere 9gerian: My friend, stop calling yourself names. The clowns, etc that you call yourself, will not help in this discourse. What I raised are questions, possibilities and posers. You dont expect me to swallow whatever a lone media organisation reported as the gospel truth? Do you? Let other media organisations write similar report using their own source or better still lets see the video of the whole saga. I know for sure that Channelstv was there and they reported it but never mentioned "end times" . Even if NTA is not reliable as govt media organisation, channelstv is independentQuit wasting your typing rubbish, I don't take the laptop crew seriously just like I said. |
AP is anti GEJ too ? This is why we don't take you laptop crew seriously. You are all jokers just like the clown you are defending |
afam4eva: Will you cut off your head just because it is full of ACNE? Isn't it commonsensical to find a cure for it rather than cut it off?Now you are dropping down to ridiculous level. The fact that you and okada don't like the solution doesn't mean they didn't come up with the right solution or cure. Besides, its a free country, you are free to go elsewhere and practice your lawlessness .... It's not by force to do okada in lagos. |
afam4eva: So, is it not the duty of the government to enforce these laws with utmost vigour, rather than ban bikes totally? Is the government indirectly telling us that they've failed in this regard? It's their job and that's exactly what they are doing by creating and enforcing the traffic laws. Okada is demonstrating and rampaging because the government is doing its job enforcing the traffic laws, we are talking about this because the government is doing its job so Whats your point. Is your logic when the government is not doing anything, it failed and when its doing something like creating and enforcing this law, it equally failed? Your logic is grossly pointless and upside down. |
afam4eva: Isn't it because they were banned that they went ahead to destroy public property, i'm not in support of. My point is that other motorists disobey traffic laws just as much as okada people. In any society, no matter what laws you put in place, a percentage of that society will violate here and there, but we are taking about total upfront rejection of the traffic laws governing okada by filing law suits, demonstrating, and rampaging. There is a clear distinction here. One is generic traffic offence while the other is total rejection of of legislated laws with law suits and violence. Use the word ban as much as you want, it doesn't change the that they were restricted and not banned. Banned is what happened to them in other states. |
afam4eva: Are we not talking about obeying traffic laws?Committing common traffic offence and refusing to obey by rioting, filing law suits and damaging public property is not the same thing. Please don't dumb down this discussion by acting like you don't know the difference between A and B. |
afam4eva: Are you really serious with the bolded?. Yes . Abi you see car drivers demonstrating, rioting and destroying public property like okada.? Nope. |
afam4eva: Are there no traffic laws in lagos that cover okadas too? Whatever happened to enforcing laws. There are traffic laws governing all the modes of transportation in lagos state and cars and all the other modes are affected by the traffic laws and unlike rampaging and rioting okada, they are all complying . What is going in right now with okada and what okada rejecting is enforcement and like the state said, if you can not obey laws like the rest if lagos, then leave. |
afam4eva: Is it also a crime to fly planes considering the number of people who have died through plane crashes. There are laws set by the government governing the aviation industry and unlike lawless and rampaging okada, they comply so once again, your point remains mute. |
afam4eva: Yes, there are other means of livelihood. That's why the unemployment rate of Nigeria is over 60%. Talk is really cheap but in reality things don't seem rosy like you people paint them to be.1. We are talking about lagos and not the whole of Nigeria 2. The state offered to train them for other jobs and give them start up money so if its really about jobs and livelihood, how come they are rampaging and rioting instead of taking the the states offer. 3. Letting thousands of unknown foreigners congregate within our society solely because of okada is a huge security risk and that should never let stand by any responsible leaders. |
afam4eva: have the numbers of BRT, Danfos and keke Napep increased tremendously such that it will assuage the pains of the average Lagosian? Haven't you noticed the high population of people in bus stops?Okada was restricted in certain areas, not banned ad was done in other states. This is not about anybody's ivelihood, this is about public safety and law and order. Your livelihood doesn't equal anybody's life and safety. Sanctity of and protection of human life comes before money and only irresponsible leaders puts such considerations before law and order and safety. Okada is not the only occupation available, there are other jobs out there and the state offered to retrain them free of charge with business funds. They can go into armed robbery, but that's what we have police for. They either get killed or locked up so that's a mute argument. |
afam4eva: Just stay outa trouble. That's all i beg of ya'll. There will be zero tolerance for tomfoolery in the New year. And you stay out of threads if you are not man enough to engage without crying, moaning or broadcasting to us you are a mod. In fact, you are derailing the thread. If you need to broadcast to the world that you are a mod and you are power drunk, feel free to start your own thread with all that. It's not like you are making any sense with your argument regarding the topic anyways... |
afam4eva: @GARRI (x)So vengeance and mindless vindictiveness is what moderating all about to you. You are free to leave the thread if all you have is letting us know you are a mod and already power drunk. You are very very irritating .. |
afam4eva: Do you know how many people that have dies via car accidents? Should cars be banned too? Should planes and boats also be banned? Of course the fastest way to solve an issue is to ban it outrightly especially when it's the poor that use it more often. How about putting in measures that will reduce okada accidents. I guess the government is too lazy for that. They've put in measures to reduce okada accidents and we are seeing the result already. They can cry and rampage as much as they want, its either they obey our laws or take their death bikes elsewhere. Poor people in lagos survived before okada and they'll survive without okada. The fact that we get accidents from cars and planes doesn't mean we should sit around and watch okada turn how hospitals into okada hospitals with dead lagosians and lagosians with no legs. We all have to obey laws and okada must obey too. They are lucky its only restriction they get and not outright ban which I see coming anyway because we decide what mode of transportation we want as a society, not okada. Okada can not dictate to us, we dictate to them. |
Billyonaire: He should shut the heck up and do his job, what is he a governor for? Why is he praising himself as if the N127m is his personal funds. The monthly allocation is from Federal Government and its meant for development of the people and their communities. Thanks but no thanks to a wife who praises herself after cooking evening food for the kids after receiving money from husband. And what are your useless village governors doing with federal allocations ? Nothing. When was the last time your village leaders commissioned any project or even a hen cage? I bet you don't even know. The joke is always on you losers.... |
Just to let you know, we manufacture our own transformers in SW/Lagos. SW o ni baje o... |
Ignorance and tribalism....simple. |
mosun_ade: Explain what you mean. |
vladimiros: i don't care cuz, really i don't, what the point?Your IQ sucxs.. |
