Dede1:This has got to be the daftest and d/umbest utterance ever. According to documented history, the Great Black Scorpion of the 3MC and OBJ whooped Biafra into submission, not the British Army. Biafra surrendered to OBJ, not the British Army. Talk about grand ignorance and stupidity. |
Dede1:Must you not save your usual meaningless garbage for you and your forefathers to read and regurgitate in your collective ruins and graves.? Bunch of losers, |
Onlytruth:Delusions no dey taya you people ni? Wetin igbo people have wey go make anybody jealous them? Abeg stop smoking indian hemp. Maybe your people are, but we are not sucking collectively. |
Big B1:How do you reconcile both? His a great Nigerian, but you know nothing about his objectives or accomplishments? Why is he a great Nigerian and what's so great about walking millions of their death and dumping his men on the battle field to save his own skin/Living the good life in IC while his people suffered immensely? |
felele: Ode, What's your silly link got to do with state police? And this is what your dumb link said, The Lekki Project is a 30-year contract that involves the construction and operation of a toll road corridor along the Lekki peninsular of Lagos, Nigeria. (This area is considered the fastest growing residential and commercial land in Africa). The road is an approximately 50km strip of road that heads towards the east of Victoria Island. Standard Bank Plc's role in the landmark deal was as Lead Arranger, Underwriter, and largest lender to the project as well as the sole arranger of currency hedging. In addition The Standard Bank of South Africa (Project Finance) acted as Co-financial Advisor to the project. Funding for the project, which should take three years to complete, comes from the Lagos State which has invested Naira N5bn (US$42 million) in a 20-year mezzanine tranche. The African Development Bank provided N10bn (USD85 million) senior debt over 15 years and local bank lenders provided a 12-year note facility of N9.4bn (US$80 million). The remaining NGN 11bn (USD93 million) 15 year term funding was provided by Standard Bank Plc and onshore affiliate, Stanbic IBTC Plc. "To source 15-year Naira in this climate is testament to a well structured and solid deal," said Mike Waller from Standard Bank Plc. Standard Bank was able to use both its offshore and onshore Naira risk management platforms to structure the long-dated cross currency swap, allowing dollar funded institutions to participate." Commenting on the deal Rupert Boyd, Managing Director and Global Head of Distribution at Standard Bank said "This was possibly the highest profile transaction in Nigeria this year, given that the condition of the road directly affects the lives of millions of traffic-locked Lagosians." Now, show us where it asserted anything regarding your ignorant nonsense. They really need to ban you fools for spamming and peddling fake and irrelevant nonsense all over the place. |
ode remo:Why don't you worry about your God and let me worry about mine? |
Kobojunkie:Resident Ignorant. We want our leaders to consistently fight for us, not give up because of some silly and ignorant road blocks. Nothing in life is achieved without consistency, strong conviction and perseverance. It's like failing an exam and you telling yourself what's the need/You don't have to try again after failing the first time. Your shortsighted and misguided remark is for losers and irresponsible leaders. Once again, I pray to God you're not placed in any position to administer the lives of millions of people. |
anonimi:Not trying to excuse anybody, the man didn't have any money to execute any capital project because the fed's via OBJ withheld and sat on the state's funds for the same 8 years you're talking about. He did not get a dime from Abuja for your so called wasted 8 years. You can hate the man as much as you want, but get your facts in order. Lagosians are benefiting from his heroic actions against Abuja, the state is now politically and financially independent. Even Fashola exercised the same screw you attitude when Yaradua tried to pull the same crap. Be objective and don't let your hate and dislike for the man screw up your sense of judgment and misplace obvious facts and realities. |
Kobojunkie:Resident Ignorant. Do you mind telling us exactly how much the stat spent and where you obtained your figures from? Also like the poster said, many of what was planned like the BRT, LFT, Eko Atlantic, Metro Rail, Lagos Badagry expressway, are under construction or already implemented. Responsible governments plan, readjust their plans according to priorities and realities and also look ahead. The Metro Rail idea was planed/conceived in the 89's by Jakande, but after so many administration who is now implementing the Metro Rail system? Fashola. Seriously, what do you do if there is no fund to accomplish an objective, sit on your hand and say I don't have to plan or look ahead because I don't have money? Even after planning and you still don't have the resources to implement, what do you do? Go rob a bank? Is this how you run your life? Only ignorant folks like you still walk around with the idea that Rome was built in a day. Now, don't you think it is best you to shut up and stop posting the ridiculous and ignorant retorts? |
striker07:This rubbish is obviously a reflection of your ignorance and zero aptitude about governing. Running mouth about the state's budget and even comparing with other state and ignoring the state's population and scope of responsibilities magnifies your cluelessness and naivety. Lagos puts out a yearly budget of only 2 billion dollars to take care of 18 million people and decayed or non exiting infrastructure and no government can perform beyond it's budget/Limitation. There are states in Nigeria (Cross rivers state) with higher budgets than Lagos state's and not only that, their population is 5-6 million and less than a quarter or Lagos states responsibilities and infrastructure demand. With the scale of development going on in Lagos state, 18 million people demanding good roads, good schools, good hospitals, safe and secured environment and these other states with higher budget and less responsibilities and 6 million people, have you ever asked what those states are doing with all that money? There is something called budget limitations and you can not perform beyond that limitations, same way you yourself can not spend what you don't have or do what do all the things y'ud love to do. The mediocrity exists only in your brain. |
Curb your insecurities and stop walking on your brains, it's a free country and people are free associate with whatever entity they fancy. You're fast becoming a nuisance, |
Fashola is heading back to Alausa. Apart from his great performance, Fashola is 80% of their selling point, he's who they point to and reference as their ultimate template of good governance. Without Ashla, they have little or nothing to sell. |
I really appreciate Tinubu's perseverance, fighting spirit and great efforts in the SW and Nigeria in general. |
