Syncan: H Yet there at the corner of the church, by the window of the chapel, beside the gate of the parochial house, in Chukwudi44's sitting room, even inside babestell's car... indeed anywhere you find a priest of the Catholic Church, there lies your relief.Thank you very much jor. Don't mind these mad PHC taxi drivers always threatening a holy place of confession. If only they knew the kind of activity Syncan forsees going on in it. They would drive more reasonable ![]() Happy New Month everyone. Thanks debbie for the roll call. How are your kids and family. |
Emmmmm He is just not that into you. Sorry. Its a guy thing. Some men will lie just to get the cookie. as in lie the kind of lie that makes the devil look like a learner. Also there is nothing to talk about...just move on Am sorry you went through this. Please take time to heal yourself and move on. You have the rest of your life to live and enjoy. |
I don't understand. The Church time and time again has told you that we trace our history to Jesus. So all these one that you are trying to divide Early Christian Fathers into eras will not work. We own the history the good and the bad, the ugly and the beautiful! |
Lol....people be hating sha. So they want these men and women to leave their homes in USA and come back to Nigeria for meeting. Igbo people in diaspora have tried their best. At least i can speak of the one in my town. One day I too will contribute my quota to the good work of developing my community. |
Mikel Obi or Peter Rufai |
Wow! If thisis true then may God bless Louis Carter generously. This is one of those stories that rekindle belief in people. God bless the babies too |
eaglechild: He was unaware. You sound so sure about what you are saying. But merely affirming it will not convince people. |
HEheehehehehehe Bros Italo Abeg o! |
Yes na The mass will last for like 5 hours italo: |
baqina: Everything depends on what she wants and also her dream (s). If she is young (in her early 20s) and her dream is to work in a big coy, she should take up the lecturing job and give herself like 3 years to develop and specialize before rushing to labour market coz by that time she will be in her mid-twenties and that with good qualifications and right professional status with 3 years exp. will be a good plus.Everything you have said is correct but may not work in her choosen discipline here in Nigeria. If she enters a well organised company, she will receive the proper training she needs to develop herself. Infact an auditing firm will be the best for her. They will groom you to a point that after 5 years, other companies are seeing you as someone capable to become a CFO. Lecturing in Nigeria may not equip her with jack unless she goes abroad for her masters. Wth a first class she should be targeting audit firms and investment banks. A lot will employ her especially considering her age. |
EGRESS: What will happen to their onshore staffs if they decide to sell the oil fields? I hope selling the oil fields will not .make their employees working in those sector loose their jobs. My thought though.Employees will loose their jobs but some of them don't mind actually. For the full staff the job loss comes with a lot of money. |
musKeeto: Used to when I was a kid, at Rumuomasi. Then Momc carry d whole church matter for head, na so we start to dey attend Church of God Mission. Then moved to RCCG.If Daddy is one of those early morning mass regular attendees, I would know him. I usually attend 6am mass every work day so am used to waking by 4:15am. Also the earlier you wake the more time you can spend in prayer and the bathroom. You should attend mass at Mater one day. But not this Sunday..they are doing youth and children harvest |
musKeeto: Lol, we take style be neighbors. PH brought up hereReally. Do you attend Mater? |
Ubenedictus: Good marwing all.What /who is a relativist |
Lovethywilbedon: I am LOVETHYWILBEDON signing inwelcome to the happening thread. |
Kamsified: Correct me if am wrong, I heard it's only when you come in contact with a visibly sick ebola patient that you're at risk. If that is the case, pls avoid contact with anyone with any signs that resemble ebola patient & let's trust God with the rest.my dear that is what they said. But its the visibly part am worried about. If the guy nd his wife were doctors how couldn't they have known the diplomat guy was sick with ebola. Unless his was not visible and he was still infectious |
musKeeto: U live in PH?yes |
Is Enugu a PDP or APC state? |
So until when you wear the shoe will you know where it pinches. Ever since I heard Ebola was in PHC this morning. I have been very uneasy and i had to run to the bathroom to cry sef. Its very scary considering that the situation was ongoing and people didn't know. Today we tried to do a permutation of how many people had come in contact with the guy and whether they if they got infected could have spread it, and the numbers were too saddening. Why would someone put others at risk. I wish I could say God punish somebody but I don't know how. May God help us all |
I like the way peeps just be running their mouths about economic forces of play that they know nothing about! ![]() |
My reply is also for those who will read your comments and think offshore is all rosy and sweet. I simply pointed out the obvious, you are married to a man who is working his ass off and smiling about it. Also sorry if I came out like an attack, I didn't mean to, But some peeps are just making rig life sound like its all, when we only do it for the money. |
Tinnasmile: Am not disputing d fact dat ther work is stressful cos my hubby do say dat if u consider how stressful der work is,u wont gv anybody ur money.outside der job, offshore is sweet 4rm wat am told. That is what am saying, offshore is mostly about work, work and rest between work. Unless sweet is the fact that there is unlimited food or that cabin bois clean your room and wash your clothes. Just be unlucky to have a room mate with bad hygiene ethics and your whole tour is ruined. Or is it when night crew is sleeping their deserved rest and safety man sets off that terribly loud alarm for drill. Damn some of those alarms just shock you out of sleep. Your husband is really trying as in really trying and there is nothing sweet about what he does. Just be glad you have a man who is ready to work his ass off for his family |
desess: Banking and financeI just saw this. Tell her to start ICAN and ACCA as well. |
Nope they are not drying up. Just that the cost of doing business onshore has drastically increased due to non technical risks. Also there is a drive by the Country to allow more Nigerians into the Upstream Sector Culbobby: Wise-ass mofos, those oil wells are probably drying up. Ask yourself, would I sell my pops house if there's a scared room that keeps minting out cash?( nollywood movie)...''Local buyer'' pls don't do it! |
heheehehehehehe Good one for local nigerian industrialist. I hope they do a good job running the facilities |
First Off 1) What course did she study? The course she studied will affect her marketability. It depends on the demand for graduates of that discipline in the job market. 2) What is her personality? The typical first class is usually introverted and bookwormish. They are all about books and sometimes it affetcs their people skills. That is why they will go for assessment centres and fail, simply because they can not network well with their colleagues to solve problems not because they don't know the technical work. Companies need team players 3) What plans does she have for herself? I cannot believe she was in school for 4 years and she doesn't at least have a plan of what she wants to do with her life. where does she wanna work, what were her dreams? Masters and Lecturing is not a bad idea but if she can, tell her to apply for a scholarship so she can do her masters abroad. It will bring her up to date with current knowledge in her field. |
Tinnasmile: He is just a level 3 rope access personnel so as hs boss, make u help amI would disagree with that. U can get someone to do everything for you in your house. Offshore life is definitely NOT sweet. Its too confined and regimented. The work is tasking and sometimes monotonous. A lot of planning is needed to complete activities and depending on your location a small delay can set you back a lot of money which you have to justify to your bosses. At the end of your tour, you are most likely to mentally and physically exhausted. But then again I notice that there is a difference between the junior and senior staff in viewing rig/location site. My colleagues always come in looking forward to crew change and the rig/junior contractor staff come in with a mind to enjoy what they can get. |
Hello all. God bless you all |
This is so ROMANTIC!!!! striktlymi and musKeeto arguing over Catholic girls!!! Our heroes saying the same thing in different languages. This just brings tears to my eyes! Whoever wins gets to take Kamsified out to dinner!!! |
musKeeto: I've dated 3. They were all intelligent. 2 after I became atheist. They're not as close-minded as the pentecostal folks, and most have good manners. Maybe it's the company I keep, I don't know. I find the 'miracle/prosperity' church girls to be more hypocritical about their lifestyle.Sighs woefully !!!! God please give our catholic boys the eyes to see!! ![]() |
musKeeto: My dad's Catholic. Mom"s Pentecostal. I was more involved in Momc's church. Attended Catholic church when in villa or for some functions.ok I ask because I saw post where u said you like Catholic girls so I wondered why? Weekend was okay. I went for confession |
musKeeto: You too dear. Thanks dear!!! No need to blush. were you Catholic in your pre atheist life? |
