Workable Means of supporting the oppressed Muslims Every Muslim is obliged to support his wronged Muslim brothers and sisters in all parts of the world; especially in Palestine where houses are demolished, wives are widowed, and children are killed cold bloodedly in daylight. Every committed Muslim has a very positive role to play. A Muslim can help his suffering brothers – like the case of the people of Ghaza with money, medicine, clothes and so on. Allaah urged the believers to spend in good causes. The Muslim can support his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters financially and psychologically. The least thing we can do is to earnestly implore Allah to grant them victory over their enemies. It is well known that after storm comes sunshine. This very fact is confirmed by Allah’s saying in the Qur’an: (But lo! with hardship goeth ease. Lo! with hardship goeth ease.) (Al-Inshirah 94: 5-6) The followings are suggested: 1. We should make du’aa’, and recite dua’a al-qunut in our prayer for our oppressed brothers/sisters in Gaza , and every other places in the world. 2. We should collect charity and send it through trustworthy channels to the wronged brothers and sisters all over the world. 3. We should support the weak and the oppressed in all ways, including the media as well as the internet. 4. We should get scholars, callers to Allah or Dua’a, Mosque Imams as well as Muslim writers to explain the oppression that is happening to the fellow Muslims and the negligence on the part of the Ummah, and to mobilize the Ummah to defend the sacred places. 5. We should check our own intentions with regard to striving in the cause of Allah, and to see whether one is applying the Prophetic Hadith in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) states: “Whoever dies without having striven for the cause of Allah or having had the intention of doing so, has died following one of the branches of hypocrisy.” (Reported by Muslim) 6. We should pursue all the means of building up material and moral strength, in resisting all forms of aggression. 7. We should remind ourselves and others of the virtues of martyrdom in the Sake of Allah and study the rulings on Jihad, and not deeply indulging in the material trappings in this world. 8. We should boycott the products of the enemies who are in a state of war with us, as well as condemning their atrocities and barbarism. We need to make this known verbally and through media, to point out their insults to Allah, His Messenger and the believers. |
Revelation 22:18-19, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.True talk ![]() |
In addition to your post: Islam has solution to every problem, but it is a pity some Muslims look elsewhere for solutions, where there is none. Or at least, temporary, conditional 'solutions' like using evil means, usually by contract. I just laugh when I see some Muslims go about troubling themselves, consulting Pastors, herbalists and deviant Alfas for solutions to their so-called spiritual problems, when the solution lies right there in the Qur'an and Sunnah.Human problems and solutions Why did Allah allow multitude of problems to threaten our existence on earth? This had been the basic question which many great men in human history have been asking since time immemorial. And the Almighty Allah, the Supreme Creator gives the necessary answer thus: Quran 2 v 214: Or do you (mankind) think you shall enter the garden (of paradise) without such trials as come to those who passed away before you? They encountered suffering and adversity and were so shaken in spirit that even the messenger (of God) and those of faith who were with him creid , ‘when will come the help of Allah?. Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is always near. Furthermore, the Almighty Allah states thus: Quran 2 v 155: (Oh mankind) be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hubger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits (of your labour) but (oh Muhammed saw), give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Considering the above quoted verses, we are told that troubles and problems are part of human existence designed by Allah, the Almighty to test our faith and steadfastness in Him. Some people believe that every good happening is from God while every bad thing and evil thing is from satan, the devil. This belief is certainly not true because to to hold to such a belief is to raise satan to the status of all wise and all knowing which is only for Allah. Allah states in the Holy Quran that: Quran 6 v 57: the (supreme) command (of all occurrence) rest with none but Allah (the Almighty) So, as muslims, whenever any good thing happens to us, we should thank Allah for it and equally whenever any bad thing happens, we should wholeheartedly admit that it is also from Allah. Considering those people who might wish to mislead us in our time of troubles by making us to believe that the problems we are undergoing is as a result of the acts of some devilish people, Allah commands us to reply them thus: Quran 9 v 5: say!, nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us! He is our Protector and in Allah let the beliebers put their trust. Or otherwise if during the time of our troubles and problems, a non-muslim approaches us and promises solution to our problems saying that if only we could accept any other beings as our personal lord and saviour, or follow him or her to their religious house, or to a herbalist, soothsayer, withdoctor etc. Almighty Allah commands us thus Quran 9 v 129: say!, Allah is sufficient for me. There is no God (and saviour) but He, on Him (only) is my trust. Also Allah states thus: Quran 3 v 160: if Allah helps you, none can overcome you, (likewise) if he forsakes you, who is there after that can help you? In Allah then. Let believers put their trust. In order to relive us of our worries and uneasiness and as an assurance that He (Allah) is always ready to hear and answer our prayers, He commands the Holy Prophet Muhammed thus : Quran 2 v 186: when my servants ask thee concerning me, I am indeed close (to them). I respond to the prayers of every supplicant when he calls on me (but let them also, with a will to listen to my call and believe in me, that they may walk in right way) Also Quran 2 v 153 : o ye who believe! Seek (Allah’s) help with patient, perseverance and prayer, for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. And equally also, Allah advises the generality of the Muslims whenever they are in problems to always Quran 7 v 128: pray for help from Allah and (then wait) in patience and constancy. In addition, there are times when our prayers may seem unanswered by Allah, and if that happens and our faith is not all that strong, we might be tempted by the devil to seek for solutions elsewhere. But as sincere and faithful Muslims, if such a solution should occur, we must wholeheartedly accept it to be the will of the Almighty Allah and continue with our prayers to Him. Allah says Quran 2 v 249: Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere. Moreover, if our prayer seem to be unanswered at times, it may be a deliberate act by Allah for our own good because granting of request by Allah sometimes may be to our own peril. This is so because Allah our creator understands our human psyche, hence, He is the best judge and best planner. Therefore, He withholds demands until the time He knows our demands would be of great benefits to us. And to this end, Allah states that: Quran 2 v 216 : but it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows and you know not. However, as faithful muslims, we should believe that Allah is our creator and also He, is the only one who can give lasting solutions to all worldly problems. Maa Salam |
The Virtues of Allah’s sacred month of Muharram Praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Chief of the Messengers, and upon all his family and companions. Allah’s sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. It is the first month of the Hijra calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): «Verily, the number of months with Allaah is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allaah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein…» [al-Tawbah 9:36] Abu Bakrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‹The year is twelve months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dhu’l-Qa’dah, Dhu’l-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar which comes between Jumaada and Sha’baan.› (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 2958). Muharram is so called because it is a sacred (muharram) month and to confirm its sanctity. Allaah’s words (interpretation of the meaning): “so wrong not yourselves therein…” mean do not wrong yourselves in these sacred months, because sin in these months is worse than in other months. It was reported that Ibn ‘Abbaas said that this phrase (so wrong not yourselves therein…) referred to all the months, then these four were singled out and made sacred, so that sin in these months is more serious and good deeds bring a greater reward. Qutaadah said concerning this phrase (so wrong not yourselves therein…) that wrongdoing during the sacred months is more serious and more sinful that wrongdoing at any other time. Wrongdoing at any time is a serious matter, but Allaah gives more weight to whichever of His commands He will. Allaah has chosen certain ones of His creation. He has chosen from among the angels Messengers and from among mankind Messengers. He chose from among speech the remembrance of Him (dhikr). He chose from among the earth the mosques, from among the months Ramadaan and the sacred months, from among the days Friday and from among the nights Laylat al-Qadr, so venerate that which Allaah has told us to venerate. People of understanding and wisdom venerate the things that Allaah has told us to venerate. (Summarized from the Tafseer of Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him. Fasting the 9th & 10th of Muharram: Virtues & Rules First of all, it is very important to make it clear that fasting on the day of `Ashura’ – the 10th of Muharram- is of great merits in Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Fasting the day of `Ashura' (is of great merits), I hope that Allah will accept it as an expiation for (the sins committed in) the previous year” (Muslim). Also, fasting the 9th of Muharram is highly recommended by the Sunnah. Imam At-Tirmidhi reported that Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say: We should fast on two days: the 9th and 10th of Muharram to distinguish ourselves from the Jewish community. (At-Tirmidhi) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him used to fast on the day of `Ashura'. When he came to Madinah, he found out that the Jews of Madinah were also fasting on this day remembering Prophet Musa (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) admired this tradition and said to the Jews, "I am closer to Musa than you are." He fasted and he also told his Companions to fast on this day. Later, before the end of his life, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told Muslims to add the 9th day also. Thus, it is recommended to fast on both the 9th and 10th of Muharram. Moreover, in his well-known book, Fiqh As-Sunnah, the late Sheikh Sayyed Sabiq states: Abu Hurayrah reported: "I asked the Prophet: 'Which Prayer is the best after the obligatory Prayers?' He said: 'Prayer during the mid of the night.' I asked: 'Which fasting is the best after that of Ramadan?' He said, 'The month of Allah that you call Muharram’" (Ahmad, Muslim, and Abu Dawud). Mu`awiyyah ibn Abi Sufyan reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah say: "Concerning the day of `Ashura’, it is not obligatory upon you to fast on it as I do. Whoever wishes may fast and whoever does not wish to is not obliged to do so" (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). The fast of the day of 'Aashooraa. (tenth day of Muharram) is recommended, as its excellence has been mentioned in (a number of) ahaadeeth. From them, is the saying of the Prophet sallaho allahe wassalam (Certainly the fast of the day of 'Aashooraa. Is regarded by Allaah as an expiation for the sins of the previous year) Also, when the Prophet sallalaho allahay wassalam arrived in Madeenah he saw the Jews fasting (on this day), so when he asked them (about this), they said: "Certainly, this is the day when Allaah made Musa victorious and destroyed Fir'aun". So the Prophet said: (We have more of a right to Musa than you). So he fasted (that day) and ordered it to be fasted. (Sahih Muslim vol. 1 pg.359) As for the ninth, then it has not been confirmed that the Prophet sallallaho allahay wassalam fasted it, however, it has been narrated by Ibn 'Abbass and others that the explanation (tafseer) of the day of 'Aashooraa. is that it is the ninth. And it has been narrated that he said: (If I am (still) here nextyear, then certainly I will fast the ninth (day of Muharram) and in (another) narration: (along with the tenth (day of Muharram). And he said: (Differ from the Jews; fast the day before it (the ninth) or the day after it (the eleventh). So, this indicates that the fast of the ninth is legislated just as the tenth and it is recommended for the Muslims to increase in fasting during this monthas in the Saheeh hadeeth. The Prophet said: (The best of fasts after (the month of) Ramadan is the month of Allah which they refer to as Muharram). |
@Ansary Did you say the wazifa is a Nafilah? Must u do d nafilat in d mosque? Must he tel u when he is prayng nafila? It is his privacy wt his Creator, so leave it to him. After all, it is nafilat brodas. Allah aalam. Salam. On Solatul fathi in which you said; Salat Ibrahim was said by Muhd SAW, did He said again it is bida to recite any other salat to Him. You should understand that, when the sahaba asked him the salat, he sat silent 4 a while, then said. "Allahuma salli ala saiyadna muhd wa ala ali muhd kama sallaita, wa rahimta, wa barak ala ibrahm wa ala ali ibrahim innaka hamidun majid." that Allah should do salat to him and his ahl, do way he did to ibrahm AS and his ahl.So where is Solatul Fathi in the above and why do you give preference to it than Solatul Ibrahim given by the prophet (saw0 Also putting that cloth as sed by a brother that it is a seat 4 a sheikh is a lie and qazaf, u need to ask before jzt sayng what u feel like.Where did you see that in my post? Durng the early time of d wazifa, people sit like in prayas in sahu, so animals usd to jzt pass as they like, den the muslm thought it dsrespect so dey changeBrother, I learnt that you don't pray Nawafil and believe that this supersedes the normal Nawafil after Maghrib? I know that they do it without spreading cloth as well. Brother, I rest my case jare, its Bidah and Allah does not like it. Its either you take Sunnah or inovation. By the way, could you tell me your understanding of Bidah and maybe that woud help us in understanding and knwing what is Bidah. Maa Salam |
@Ansary Salam brother. I know that they can do it without spreading any cloth cos I saw them did that. I also noticed that these people do not pray Nawafil after MAGHRIB before observing it. I know that it connotes a particuar type of Zikr but it cannot be accounted for as it happens to be Bidah in which many Ahlus Sunnah Scholars consider as Bid'a and is not allowed in Islam. For more details, refer to tafsir of "Raddul Azhan ila Ma'anilQur'an" by Shiekh Abubakar Mahmoud Gumi and there are other other facts as well. Though the meaning is very ok but do we ignore the Sunnah of the prophet as against the man made deeds? Maa Salam |
@Earthmama You that know about Jesus so much, tell us His birth date?Common, be honest to yourself. Thousands of Christians would tell you that he was not born that day let alone non-christians. So whats the fuss about? Was he conceived by natural process or through the power of the holy ghost?. What proof have you?You serve us that and when you do, we will go into your book to see that. We would then see if he ought to be called son of the Holy Ghost because the verse(s) said the power of Holy Ghost would overshadow her and would have a son of the Holy Ghost and not son of God. ![]() |
I knew that this guy is a devil in disguise and told those jubilating to watch out for this guy. I smelled rat when this guy went to the wailing wall to pay homage. ![]() |
@Lady So God is changing his mind? What? Are you referring to the bible cos I have verses on that on that in your book? |
@Ansary Would reply your post on Wazifa when I am less busy and other issues raised here. |
@Ansary When I a less busy, would reply your post on Solatul Fathi and Wazifa in which you said its becasue of animals and children they spread the cloth. |
ok. I am sorry for that ![]() |

@Earthmama You have been provided enough facts with regards to Islam and mos of your questions have been laid to rest by myself using biblical verses as support, Jarus and Olabowale. Time waits for nobody. Do you have any proof they work wonders or are they just charlatan?Yes they do work wonder and there are facts. Muslims are not here to deceive in order to win souls Please read this from a christian brother Kiwi, what Aayatul Kursiy did to his life and stopped the jinn from disturbing him: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-17665.288.html |

@Lady Are you delusional, or is it that you don't know history? That should go to you. You claimed to know history but your post exposed you. Please check history well and you will see that no one found trouble with muslims, they found trouble with the world.Ignorance is really a disease. Your posts show that you lacked religious knowledge, even you know little about your so called religion hence the lies in your post. Which history book did you read and when you provide one, I will provide you with when Jews, christians and Muslims lived together during the time of the holy prophet and non Muslims were safeguarded and never allowed to be hurt nor cheated. More is there but would hold on till you are able to support your accusation with truth else your lies would not be accepted with a pinch of salt. No one paid attention to muslims ans that pissed muhammad off,Can I have the answer you claimed above? and then the whole "choose Islam or die" came about,Can I have where it came about either from my prophet, Quran or Sunnah? and for 500 years of slaying and displacing christians and others from their homes no one fought back, it wasn't until muslims decided to touch the Holy Sepulchre (Christ's tomb) that Christians said enough is enough.Lady, honestly, your dishonesty knows no bounds. How could you be saying when you claimed to have known history. Well, I will give you part of the gist below. We didn't start the trouble, muslims did, and ever since then, muslims have sworn to make everyone miserable. Israel didn't look for trouble with the muslims, muslims looked for trouble with Israel, you guys think they're apes and swine and all.Are we discussing christianity or Jew? Let me know if you want you and I to discuss Jew and would serve you the atocities committed by them even in the scriptures. Go back and check history well please, and you will notice a trend with Islam. All these didn't start today, they started when Islam was started by muhammad. And ever sisnce then the world has had to protect itself from Islam.Read the story of Salaudeen Ayubi and would see that christian crusaders started general killings of muslims and jews when they captured while Ayubi forgave them all when he recaptured same. Lady, please read and you would see that your false claim to have known history holds no water. The facts show that Islam tolerates non - Muslim minorities within the Muslim Nation and treats them as independent nations free to worship and live according to their own religious laws. This was outlined in the Covenant of Medina which became the world's first written constitution in 622 AD. Lady, let me see you deny these facts as you claimed to know history very well |
Salam Ayinba1 Its nice to have you . Hope family is doing great and still waiting for Zayhal as well as littleb, Subzeero. Missed your companies. |
@Huxley 1) Why did Allah allow the words of the Old Testament prophets to become corrupt? Speaking to prophets and then not preserving the words seem to render the entire exercise in having prophets a moot point.Firstly all prophets except the last prophet Muhammad (saw) were sent to their community. Allah gave them freedom and entrusted them with the revelations but the scribes: Jeremiah 8 v 8: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. The Torah was not altered during Moses' and Muhammad's time and still in its original state. But the Jews had so much disputes among themselves and ended losing the original revelation. They broke up into tribes and had no true judaism.I believe Allah allowed the alteration with regards to this hadith due to breakig their covenant: Narrated Ubaidullah: "Ibn 'Abbas said, 'Why do you ask the people of the scripture about anything while your Book (Quran) which has been revealed to Allah's Apostle is newer and the latest? You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a little gain. Does not the knowledge which has come to you prevent you from asking them about anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any man from them asking you regarding what has been revealed to you!' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah, Volume 9, Book 92, Number 461)" These are the verses butressing the above hadith in the Quran: Quran 5:13 : "But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them (Jews and Christians) and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others)." Quran 5:41 "O Apostle! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, 'If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!' If any one's trial is intended by God, thou hast no authority in the least for him against God. For such - it is not God's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment." After the alterations and the lost in the original messages (torah and Injil), Allah then revealed the last message through the last prophet with this message of assurance and its being preserved till today, no versions going against each other: Quran 15 v 9: "We have, without a doubt, sent down the Message (The Quran); and We (Allah) will assuredly Guard it [from corruption]. " Next question please ![]() |
