Sure! If there is no significant pullback by analogue investors and profit takers, it should cross 100 by early next week. Thereafter, we will see how far people can stretch the largesse. May 2025 is too far for people like me. Will only leave few units for the Chinese.
Some stockbrokers too just recommend rubbish or fail to update their recommendations. Read one's SELL recommendation for WAPCO sad in the mail today.
The recommendation should have been HOLD shocked

You are right but if we think out of the box, it may occur to us that it is not the same with everybody, situations may differ.
E.g. someone I know:
1. Brought in $10K into the country
2. Changed it at N1,500 to $1, that's N15m.
3. bought 50,000,000 units of Veritascap at N0.30K around 1/11/2023
4. Sold at N1.30 on 11/7/2024 for guess how much - N65m
5. Change 65M back to USD at 1700 that's a whopping $38K - over 20K on top of 10K.

This is real, not an hypothetical story.

It is not recommended for anyone, DYOR, you are the CEO of your portfolio..
Looking at Nov 2023 total volume of veritas capital sold was 438.6 million units at weighted average price of 37kobo this was a massive jump from prior October volumes of 47.8 million units at an average price of 26kobo
So the point 3 is verified doable by smart (abi insider info) money.

Looking at July and August 2024, much easier to take the bullet 4 profits in August but not impossible in July if the seller actively used limits to manage the sales. The transaction volumes for the months of June to August were loud above 400 million units every month.

Verdict: The loud returns possible around those periods.

The analyst that compiled this seem to have included Non Controlling interest funds in the SHF computation.

Nigeria’s Cardoso Signals Rate Cuts Next Year as Inflation Cools
This should support stock rally next year. I think the high rates are compounding issues right now and sharp cuts are needed as early as January. While other means are explored to tame inflation.

The United Bank of Nigeria (UBA) says it has signed a business cooperation deal with the French government to commence full banking operations in France.

The bank, in a statement, said Tony Elumelu, chairman of UBA Group, signed the deal with Antoine Armand, the French finance minister.

According to the statement, as part of President Bola Tinubu’s state visit to France, Elumelu signed the agreement in the presence of the Nigerian president and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The statement noted that “the agreement is a significant indication of support by the French Government for the development of UBA’s full banking operations in France”.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Elumelu said the partnership reinforces UBA’s commitment to providing seamless international banking services for its customers – “not just across the 11 Francophone African countries it serves, but throughout Africa; and French and European customers transacting with Africa”.

“Expanding into France is a natural progression, with Paris serving as our European Union hub, as we continue to bring Africa and the world together, through innovative financial solutions. Paris will join London, New York and Dubai, as a critical component of our unique global network,” he said.

UBA operates in 20 African countries and the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (USA), France, and the United Arab Emirates, providing retail, commercial and institutional banking services.
Pray this will support UBA dividend growth
Lovely seeing President/PM standing behind Tony and the other guy grin

When the CEO of a bank buys shares of their bank, they are most likely looking long term. But even for short-term, there are some banks, such as FBN, that may have a good chance for capital appreciation after their RI.

Petrol==>₦500 or less🙏🙏
At current exchange rate and oil prices, petrol cannot sell for N500. If oil prices go down to $30s then N500 is possible if the exchange rate stays fixed. If exchange rate also improves to N900/$ then even at current oil prices N500 will petrol be.

I managed to get around that level. It is becoming a very weird stock. The market price is now 517 but yet its still available at 470
Looks like some market makers are managing the price and are not leaving it completely to market forces. For now they are not happy seeing a closing price below N500

Bought (planted) more seeds (Ellahlakes) at N3.40, 3.25 and 3.15 averaging down using proceeds from a stock sale. My driver for this purchase is Our growing population needs more big agricultural businesses. Does Ellah have the management that can deliver results ? I don't really know, time will tell.

The project lacks any modicum of transparency and accountability.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
Go experience the traffic jam on work commute and you will see clearly the massive influx of population into that axis and the urgent need for both coastal and lagoon roads at that axis and the need for an Eti-Osa petrol VAT for use in building freeways in Lekki/VI/Ikoyi axis.

Good to see the bullion van dispatched to FBNH. Large chunk of offers cleared and bids now more than offers. N3b already changed hands by midday to achieve this. More bullion vans needed to push the price back up above N27

I don't understand the rationale behind the Lagos Calabar coastal road, they can't finish the project in 8 years and tens of billions of Naira must have been spent.

FGN should open up infrastructural projects and developments to the private sector and Julius Berger should position themselves for this niche.

I just hope say the attack on Julius Berger is not an indirect attack on Adenuga as he is the majority shareholder
On the Coastal Road, Lekki end needs it urgently. And construction work is proceeding fast at that end.

I suspect the showman (ego) in Wale will be disappointed his company share price and performance is nadding to write home about compared to SEPLAT and ARADEL may make him try to do better for minority shareholders so that he can have more ego trips at the AGM.

Next AGM will reveal more.
There are many companies out there. Some listed, some not listed.
More entrepreneurs & companies are still needed to pull this country & Africa out of the rut. Wale has done his bit. Others not happy with him should float their companies as we still need so many more companies to move from an under developed to a developed nation.

I don't think the NAOC acquisition will play a huge role in Oando's results for Q3 2024. The deal was finalized towards the end of August, so September 2024 is the only full month that will reflect in Q3 2024.
Q4 2024 should provide a better view of the impact from NAOC acquisition.
New AGM video is round the corner. Look forward to the questions and concerns from shareholders and Wale’s responses.

The receivable is the power plant which Oando share of ownership has a carrying value of 193billion and they are due to receive a buyout in 2025, hence the timing for this resolution. It has nothing to do with NNPC.
This sounds like a kind of appeasement to shareholders asking for guddies at the last AGM from Wale

A good sign!
