Insensitivity at its peak! You guys destroyed the present and future of Nigeria long before COVID-19 came, but it's now the excuse for your incompetence ![]() |
I hope parents will take better care of their children now because bullying can lead to death, suicide, injuries, physical and emotional lifelong scars if we don't act immediately! We have to realize IT'S NOT NORMAL TO BULLY OR BE BULLIED! My son said he wasn't going to school today because a boy punched him yesterday. I raised hell in their school and we got apologies from the school and the perp. I know on a good day, the management would have said it's just children playing. But thanks to the voices of people crying out now (sadly after an unfortunate turn of events), they now know that kicking and punching is not normal! |

It is well is a consolation ![]() |
You want the Igbos to embrace APC but you guys are doing everything to Push them away! |
I wonder what these out leaders mean by "Nigeria's unity is not negotiable"! Why can't we renegotiate an unfavorable union if the relationship is abusive, uncomfortable and loveless with only one parasitic partner enjoying it? It is well ![]() |
Is bubu really this ignorant and dumb? When American doctors migrate, it's either for charity, out of curiosity or an innovative research purpose and not simply to make a living! But how do you expect naija doctors to work without adequate equipments under very bad conditions in horrible work environments with very low pay? I know we've always been stuck with bad leadership but Bubu's government takes home the trophy for bad leadership ![]() |
I pray for divine intervention for the whole country! I just wonder what you/your people still see in that evil man that makes you believe so much in his government! I pray you get through this well in Jesus name! |
Thomases won't swallow this story...you can do better, ma'am...look for something more believable ![]() |
What is "ikuku Yara Jesin?" It's "iku (death) "ya" (is better) "ju esin", je'sin (than shame). This is more applicable in situations where someone's action may likely bring shame to the family. For instance, a family member going to prison for a crime, madness and all that. Euthanasia on it's own is an academic discourse that has generated several debates within and outside the academia. It's not really something our personal opinions can settle; it's a matter of belief, societal values and conscience! I don't think there's a right or wrong party! As a Christian, I believe in miracles, hence I think it's better not to see a situation as totally hopeless; doesn't mean I'm right or wrong! |
Omoluabi16:This may be the change we need; the revolution to effect the change. Let's be hopeful. |
ednut1:You are right to say the bullies may/will not be punished, but this is an eye opener. Other schools will hopefully learn from this and sit tight, especially where bullying is not officially frowned at. Victims will speak out more, parents will listen more to their children, schools will be more conscious of how they can go from grace to grass if they fail to protect children. The bullies will feel the heat psychologically, even if they evade severe punishment. It's not all about the boy, it also about other victims and potential victims! If this happens, it's justice. Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are." ― Benjamin Franklin. |
TemmyT002:If rival schools have effective anti-bully laws in place, they are free to pounce |
Mko123:If you're not a parent, your insensitivity may be pardonable. However, we are not tired of Dowen case, this is a case that took a boy's life! Please allow the story to trend more because this boy deserves justice. It's a very sad news for parents, especially mother's because it could have been any child! #justiceforbulliedvictims |
sliksusan:Silom, Sukhumvit (I'm sure you know soi Sam) Petkhasem...Pratunam(the market part)...the food... Thailand is the best holiday destination if you know your way around. Better than everywhere I've ever been to in my life. I love Thailand! |
GetMeRight:Well, I beg to differ on this! In my church, you drop off your kids officially by taking tallies for each kid (according to age). While some parents drop their children at the point of registration and tallies, my husband and I take the extra step of ensuring our children sit in their different classes. If a child is going to the toilet (right by the entrance), an adult MUST guide him or her, ensure they enter and exit because the children are under the care of the teachers 100% till their parents exchange tallies for the children! That is why it requires passion and dedication to take care of children. Times have changed and we must all step up our game! |
Gas people also want to take their own part of the national cake, but FG hates it when other thieves compete with them for the crumbs. They are both thieves and I personally don't care because intervention fund or not, gas won't stabilize until we do something about gas flaring and our refineries which bubu has refused to take care of |
Let's not be too sentimental about this. It's just too sad that a child got missing in the man's church, but did he take the child? If there's any evidence to that effect, the prosecution should find it or just leave it! The people I blame most in all of this are the children's handlers in the children's church! How can a child leave your care without you noticing? It takes a lot of dedication and passion to work in the children's church and if you're not cut out for it, don't join! I pray God in His infinite mercy consoles the parents and give them the fortitude to bear this loss and move on ![]() |
I agree with you that students should respect school managers, but school management should not see rich kids as God's because of the goodies they get from their parents. The way they handle bullying cases in Nigeria is very bad and the teachers need serious training on identifying bullies and how to handle such cases and save the victims. Parents should also not be too tired to hear their children out; we shouldn't allow the school management to bully us into silence! |
Excuses upon excuses! A real man will own up to his mistakes and look for ways to make amends! People with a style of denial and blaming are definitely on the list of unsafe people to avoid. Henry Cloud, Stop raising fingers man; raise your conscience! |
As a man thinketh in his heart... ![]() Nobody pushed you o, no wailer even thought of him being arrested, you alone cooked it in your heart because you know deep down it's your wish ![]() |
Polithiefcians don't buy in our markets or shop in our malls, their fuel is provided freely... FG practically pays for everything including their toiletries...how will they understand why an average Nigerian have a strong dislike for this administration? |
But when the abokii drug baron had issues in Saudi, FG quickly gathered strength to free her and even put her in NDLEA for future smooth drug runs |
Please mothers, don't send your children to Nigerian boarding schools! There's a decent school you can drive them to around you because they don't treat these innocent children well, they will always cover their mistakes!! The seniors also went through this torture. Hence, I will blame the system mostly, not the students because it's a continuous cycle of victimisation! When some students will bear it and come out fine, your child may not be able to bear it, so don't give me that crap about everyone going through it and coming out stronger! |
The story doesn't make any sense, more like story story. If he turned children to yams and they burnt him, who turns the children back to human? Who saw him turning them to yams? At least they'll keep him alive till they confirm the identity of his yams... ![]() |

She's trivializing it because of what people will say, but I have a feeling she opted for surrogacy because even though she produced eggs, her uterus may not be fit to carry pregnancy to term. Fine, but when they ask the daughter for her father in future... ![]() |
She's still giving birth? Abi how old is she again? ![]() |
Asquare84:No sir, she's not dragging anyone down; what she wants is justice for that defiled boy and believe me sir; sexual abuse is not one of those "trainings" that can make you a better man unless you have adequate intervention!!! |
Understandable; keyamo won't like to talk while eating... table manner dictates. I'm sure he'll start talking trash when this is all over and he realizes that his loot can't take him far into the future and he has to dip his hands in his pockets to buy fuel, pay for electricity and use his money to buy gas. He said people trust bubu? Laughable! Who trusts bubu? Only foolish minions like him. Bubu is even more wasteful than GEJ because that one still ruled with some bit of humanity and little fear of God. Unlike this one that has the terrorists, bandits and the killer herders to maintain! ![]() |
othermen:Private university still has grades in Nigeria! You can say this about Afe Babalola, Covenant, Redeemers, Bowen and a few others, but some private unis are just trash! Sometimes again, it's all about the tuition. What you'll spend N200k on in UI may cost you 3M in a private university. If you don't have money, even if they offer you physiology in a public uni, you will manage it. BTW, I'm very familiar with both systems. |
The question is; why were they excluded? Will they get their own construction at a later date? They should be placated, not prosecuted ![]() |

The bullys are underage and from rich homes. Do we have juvenile prisons in Nigeria
