Left his home for where? Did he drive? If yes, did they find his ride? Is he suffering from dementia/amnesia? Could also be a case of kidnap. I pray he's found in peace and on time ![]() |
This is Nigeria; a country swimming in corruption ![]() |
NaijaRoyalty:I love and respect Seyi Makinde, I also have family members whose welfare packages as civil servants under him improved tremendously. However, the OP put up some arguments, try and be nonpartisan, refute it by putting up a better argument in defense of Makinde. It's not about completing or not completing "his 8years tenure". Personally, I will also appreciate it if he does a little more in terms of infrastructure, also I wish he'll reduce the newly acquired influence of motor park touts and the animals in wine colored uniforms...but he is just a regular naija politician and by naija standard, he's doing fine. |
Of only the president can truly leave Kanu with the judiciary and the judiciary is free and fair. Unfortunately, judiciary is Malami and Malami is presidency...they are one and the same ![]() |
How sure are they that it's yahoo award night? What's the correlation between “Peer Youths Awards” and "yahoo award show"? While I detest scam and scammers, the way our police and efcc are going about harassing and"obtaining" young boys leaves one in doubt as to whether or not they are really interested in ridding the land of yahoo or they are just interested in their pockets. I hope they have enough evidence to tag them yahoo boys. |

A bad government cannot only be called a ‘bad’ government; the real adjective should be this: Enemy! Yes, bad government is a real enemy for the country it governs, an enemy within! Those who are in charge of the affairs of this country now are the real enemies, with their anti people policies. |
AlexBells:Really? I give up on this discussion at this point |
@AlexBells, you think selling off their cars will lead to a better life for Nigerians? You said people should patronize commercial phone charging centers, sell off their gens...do you think you made any sense with your points? Won't the transporters get higher demands beyond their ability to supply? So, you also think it's better for the FG to take away the little joy people have when they put on their "I-better-pass-my- neighbor" generator at night because you see it as a luxury? Did your sponsor or whoever sat you down to brainwash you think of fixing existing refineries and/or building new ones as a solution at all? People wouldn't have felt this bad if he was removing the subsidy because he wants to divert the money to a good cause like the refineries. That way, there's hope of a better tomorrow. If they remove subsidy, even you cannot survive it! I work well, my family is well off by all standards but I'm still scared of subsidy removal because I know the money will still be looted, it won't go back to federation account! You asked who will pay the loans if they don't remove subsidy; who borrowed to destroy the future of Nigerians? If he had borrowed to fix the refineries, by now we'll be doing better, we won't be flaring gas and buying same gas at cutthroat price! I don't blame you really, I believe you are just a paid agent! |
You are leaving behind a Nigeria too disunited to be one country; a Nigeria so corrupt and poorly managed; a Nigeria where even you have to bribe terrorists before you travel ![]() |
It's not bad for innoson because if they don't give him the contract, they'll probably give a foreign company. However, this will not ease the pain of an average Nigerian in anyway. They are trying to placate the Igbos but will innoson vehicles share his profit with everyone in the East? #saynotosubsidyremoval |
But all the terrorists and bandits have NIN, so who or what are we guarding against with the NIN? ![]() |
Gumi has said it all...we can call them bandits if we like, they will remain ordinary business men ![]() |
Bought eggs from an accredited poultry, boiled six and they smelled so badly. Infact, two of them had pink smelly yolks. I threw it all out with the rest of 'em |
While I'm not in support of your factory work because of the stress and low pay, you should ask your man in Lagos how much he will pay you and duration of your service; he should be able to tell you since he will be paying you directly. Btw, that arrangement is not a career path unless you start your Masters program and possibly your doctoral. However, the teaching experience will be an added advantage and doing part-time teaching will encourage you to follow your dreams. |
Ikea81:Same with hotels in the East...I guess we all should be using hotels in the North ![]() |
Stupid prank by a dumb prankster |
She should have been called before a disciplinary committee and given the right to a fair hearing IMO. Her mother could just be the overzealous type ![]() |
You didn't include the most sophisticated...FG |
FG is wasting money recruiting nincompoops to discredit the report. It is well!!! |
Terrorism is economically rewarding in Nigeria |
Enough of this childish drama ![]() |
Yoruba will say "a Kii le omo buruku fun ekun pa" (we can't chase a bad child to the tiger to eat/kill)...why kill a bad child? If you can afford to kill him, why not just abandon him in the prison or if you don't want the family name to enter prison register, disown him, dissociate yourselves from him totally, officially! |
The list will not make much sense until we see a list of the sponsors of these "sponsors" who are the real sponsors ![]() |
Just wondering if this man can eat the N500 food if he is served such ![]() |
But that your humanity doesn't extend to the Southerners? Keep it up ![]() |
Where is the Church located at? The gates of hell shall not prevail, stop peddling lies against the church ![]() |
Votes don't count in Nigerian elections...we've given up on that. Anybody that has the opportunity to travel should go - we have selection in Nigeria, not election |
If we want to be true to ourselves, like 80% of the people from that 'side' have been radicalized to a point of no return. |
