I hope one day Public universities in Nigeria will allow outsider to become VC. Most VC's had their Bsc, msc, and PHD in the same uni. Even happened to work in the same place; this makes their knowledge and experience to be limited.

lolz thanks for the detailed explanation. Orugun doesn't seem like a bad idea then. Is sha not a bad idea as a fresher staying off-camp?. And how was the area,were you like in a students lodge or your neighbours were grown family people. What's the ratio of students to family people there?

Orogun isn't a bad idea...it's just the transport....
More families live there ....unlike agbowo that is full of students...
There are some student lodge, depends on your budget....

Tedder hall. But I am not sure I would be taking it,I prefer to stay off campus. I am almost sure the hostel would be dirty and crowdy. At the same time I don't know any safe area around ui. I just know agbowo is dangerous. Anyone with idea on safe areas.

Well last year we were two in a room... except someone is squatting with you...the toilets are bad...but as a guy I think you can manage...
Agbowo is dangerous yeah...but it's near school...you can also consider renting at "Waters" ,second gate, Orogun ,ajibode....etc..#100 to and fro..

Orogun is nice, good roads, water ,and light..but na d distance...stayed there last session...wanna come near school..
