Gadetimese:Did Tinubu force you to vote for him? Guy, you have options to choose from. Tinubu has right to vote and be voted for. If you're also interested in political office, join a party and contest instead of dissipating energy on Tinubu that doesn't know you exist. |
Antai123:They have told you countless times that the choice of shettima is a political calculation to get substantial votes from the core north. Even if Tinubu settled for a christian deputy from the north, the people shouting muslim-muslim ticket will still not vote for him. In as much as we understand that Nigeria is a secular state, however, politics is a game of number and you have to play your card well to have a competitive edge over your rivals. |
OriginalZombiE:Who foisted Buhari on Nigerians? was it Tinubu that gathered more than 15 million votes to bring buhari into power? was it tinubu that owns the conscience of those that voted buhari into power. For your information, pass the blame to those that voted buhari and not tinubu. Tinubu only has one vote. Buhari got votes from north, east, west and south. |
SenatePresdo:Do you have evidence for what you just said? |
[quote author=tadiemo post=115736242]Tinubu is a PLACE HOLDER for gov Shettima, the earlier you people realize this the better oo. Most of this people pushing this Drug Lord doesn't know there's an agenda to just install him by fire by force and when he is tired and sick before 2 years, Shettima will be swear in as president and more kabiru sokoto will be hiding in his house. Even Yaradua was way stronger than him before he became president Affliction shall not rise the second time[/quotep] Placeholder ko, town holder ni... |
Lee29:Analyse how Atiku is better than Tinubu? |
Moh247:Lagos State should peg pasting of posters of presidential candidates to 200million. Anyone that is not ready to pay this should not bother pasting his posters in lagos.QED |
The three presidential candidates in APC, PDP and LP will make a positive impact for anyone that got sworn in among them. The administration of anyone of them will be better off compared with the present administration. Reason is that their thinking ability is great, possibility of assembling technocrats to drive the economy, they are well versed and exposed to attract foreign direct investment. Everyone of them have their weaknesses but they will perform better than the current administration. |
I laugh in police language. These names seems unbelievable. Yoruba's that I know can't coordinate such attack against their own people, they value human lives to some extent. The military should probe further to get the real culprits. |
shortIGBOman:Na pride they worry them jare. Imagine, the igbos could not agree among themselves to step down for one of them during the APC primaries. I can't just imagine why they are full of themselves and can't reason together to support one of them, at least this would have shown that they are united and pushing for a common goal. |
Some of these security agents are members of the kidnapping syndicate. There's need for total overhaul. |
princepeter566:Direct your grievances to the incompetent fellow occupying Aso rock and leave Tinubu out of this. There's nothing wrong with the unseating of the govt of Goodluck Jonathan, it is politics, it is now left for the person who took over to justify why people elected him. Was it Tinubu that unilaterally installed Buhari, where did you put the place of millions of voters that voted for Buhari? . It is one thing to support a candidate, the ultimate power resides with the electorates. Tinubu only has one vote. |
Statistics on ground and talking from reality, Obi has no chance next year. The contest is between Atiku and Tinubu. Political structure, foot soldiers, finance and religion will play significant part in determining winner next year. I don't see him coming even third in the election. |
Coolsperm:Who are the we? Oga speak for yourself. Can Obi and Udom who both knelt on the altar swear with their lives that a kobo of public fund was not stolen by them. Dont let them decieve you, they come to the house of God, humble themselves and pretend as if the are saint but will set religion aside when stealing public funds. Whether you stole small or big, you remain a thief and youre not in any way different. |
Safyqueen:Stop disgracing yourself on public forum. Your people are conspicuously missing cos others are better than them. They only selected the best. This is not quota system that has damaged Nigeria beyond repair. If not for tribalism, the likes of Finance Minister, Emefiele and Minister of Defense should have been shown the way out including the service chiefs. |
OkCornel:Is this thread about Tinubu? Why are you people wasting your time on somebody that don't know if you exist or not. If you want to be an agent of change, join a political party and contest and let's see how far you can go. |
Mstick:The brain is what matters not the face. Who do you think has the international connections and experience to attract FDI into Nigeria among the three candidates. See let me tell you, each of those candidates have their weaknesses but somebody among them stand tall in terms of intellectual capacity, vision and ability to spot technocrats without sentiments or tribal affiliation to drive Economic recovery. |
okeyfrank:You people should leave sentiments apart. Which one is BAT boys? Do you have evidence that they were sent by Tinubu? |
Akurakambe:Shut up and have your brain checked. What concerns Tinubu with this? Your unnecessary hatred for Tinubu will always becloud your sense of reasoning. Get your facts right before concluding someone is responsible for what he knows nothing about. |
Coolsperm:Ain't you also mad for you to have excluded other opposition leaders that all came together and formed the merger that oust Goodluck. Where did you put the likes of Amaechi, Onu, Obasanjo, Saraki, Ngige and others? But because of your hatred for Tinubu, you will always single him out as if he unilaterally installed Buhari. Always direct your grievances to the incompetent fellow in Aso rock and that your clueless kinsman heading CBN that has brought the economy to its kneels. Tinubu is not the one ruling, so leave him out of this. |
paramakina202:Which one is conspired? Opposition parties merged together and defeated a sitting president and you're saying its because of tribal reasons. You people should understand that this is democracy and there will always be opposition parties that will put a sitting govt in her toes. |
Can't every state government acquire helicopters for air surveillance and nip this kidnapping issue in the bud? |
This protest to me is not effective enough to speak sense into this failed govt. This NLC is the most docile NLC I have seen since inception. Jonathan's govt wasn't worse up to this before NLC shutdown the economy for a whole week. If this current NLC is serious, they should shut down the economy for insecurities, rising inflation, incompetency and unemployment. Until then, I will not take them serious. |
Brendaniel:People should leave Tinubu out of this. Is he the only opposition leaders that formed the merger that produced APC? You people will not call out Amaechi, Onu, Saraki, Obasanjo and few other leaders that came together to achieve this. Tinubu is not the one rulling. Call out the C in C, minister of defense, Chief of defense staff, Chief of Army staff etc |
Anyone that said Tinubu does not have intellectual capacity to respond to interview needs to have his brain checked. I can bodly say that Tinubu stand tall among all the three contestants. He has the international connections to attract FDI into Nigeria. He can assemble competent technocrats to drive the Economy to path of recovery. Tinubu is a result driven politician that Nigeria need at this critical period. He will do well in Economic transformation and take decisive action on security but I can't vouch if he will be able to sustain the war on corruption. |
Miracle2022:Shut up and talk without calling a fellow stupid. It's not a must you should accept Tinubu or Atiku, you are at liberty to choose any candidate of your choice, nobody is forcing you. Some of you castigating a candidate now are not in any way better than them. Some people short changed their fellow citizen in recruitments, some carry out sharp practices in their company, some have defrauded their fellow men in businesses, some have killed, some are into child and drug trafficking and you will now come online and be attacking Obi, Atiku or Tinubu. Nobody is a saint, nothing like someone is a lesser thief, a thief is a thief as long as you take what does not belong to you. |
Vote4Obi:You people will always look for any available opportunity to talk bad about Tinubu. If you dont like him, concentrate on your candidate and stop attacking his personality. |
agadez007:What concerns Tinubu in this matter?. You people just talk anyhow and attribute Tinubu to anything to suit your purpose. Get yourself busy with something productive. |
Jostoman:Your level of reasoning is absurd. |
Why can't they dig out 2010 Obi threads? Are people not bringing out stories about Tinubu and Atiku for acts committed several years ago. Please stop defending politicians. They are all the same and birds of the same feathers. |
I continue to read the endless outrage on the muslim-muslim ticket adopted by APC. This choice has not gone down well with some set of people who claimed the party has an islamisation agenda to pursue. They have continued to spread this news and and attacking the person of BAT and his deputy. However, APC claimed the decision was a political calculation to give them an edge especially in the northern part of the country. The aim of any political party is to win election. Political parties are not religious bodies, hence cannot use religious sentiments to decide. Currently, we have Muslims christian ticket(Atiku/Okowa), Christian-muslim ticket( Obi/Datti) and Muslim-Muslim ticket(Tinubu/Shettima). People have the liberty to vote for any of the combination and should stop condemning the choice of a political party. What's even the effect or influence a christian VP has in Nigeria of today. Osinbajo has been a VP for 7 years, but persecution and killings of Christians has continued in the middle belt and some parts of the north. What has he done about it? I think people especially Christians should look beyond dragging for a VP position to balance the equation but pressing that the senate president or speaker of the house of rep be reserved for a christian to allay the fear of the people. Office of the senate president has more influence than a VP whose duties is subject to the one assigned to him by his boss. |
CommonSense1967:But can peter Obi travel to the US today, I want to check something. |
