Born-again daughter of Zion grin

Your parenting style is helping you raise a rebel who probably knows her parents are hypocrites who do stuff because of 'what people would say'.

By force checking her vagina (private part), you are teaching her that is ok for others to violate her personal space (even worse the teachers did). It's a terrible way to make a point with teenagers.

The moment she gets some independence, she would do far worse and heaven wouldn't fall.

Lol I’m an introvert but what most of you guys are saying in here sounds a bit like extreme social anxiety. I guess that’s also part of being an introvert but still...
it's not part of being an introvert. Many people do not understand what introversion means and think it has to do with being reserved or shy.

While introverts are more prone to suffering from social anxiety, even extroverts suffer from it.

I also don’t want a wedding reception.
I want to go to registry and go for my honey moon.

I have noticed that weddings are only enjoyed by the visitors. The couples families always end up stressing and fighting. I’ve not heard of any wedding that family members did not fight or were unhappy about something. Somebody must complain about something!
I am unwilling to spend obscene amounts of money entertaining and feeding a bunch of people, while the people most important to me are more stressed than happy.
wow... Impressed. Not sure I know any lady who shares your opinion, at least as an original thought.

The ones I know always want to follow the crowd. If it's not others deciding how they wed, it's when they wed. Can be freaking tiring when you are the guy (and value your sanity over the satisfaction of random guests there for the entertainment).

These ridiculous examples do not describe introversion, they are closer to Social Anxiety Disorder. You can be extroverted and still experience social anxiety.

An introvert isn't one who runs away from encountering others, they simply turn inward FIRST to process data. 'Introvert' is not the same as 'shy'. It's not even the same as being reserved.

You don't get what am saying. This issue is not about demography. Nigeria is not at par with either of China or India interm of GDP. These countries despite their population, source for ways of generating revenues. No be today we don dey suffer for Nigeria. And population growth over the years have not been constant. But, check it, it's either we are in recession or out of recession. A country known for importing despite it potentials.
You lay so much emphasis on population, even though you are correct. But poluation growing even at 1 percent or 0.1 percent or whatever percentage is given/constant. If I agree with you on population... Then, let's try to look at the growth of GDP and our revenue sources, then you see that there is huge deficit in GDP growth over the years. Its basically meagre. With the current realities on ground as pertain to low GDP, I strongly opine that even if the population growth is to be reduced(lets assume modeling situation), or at least constant for the next 10 years and comparing side by side with the current level of GDP, the rate of poverty will still be worse except the government takes strong measures to improving GDP.
I agree with this.

aunty, you don't love him. You just enjoy the idea of being in love. If you truly loved him, you wouldn't be considering finding someone else. Love, when it is true, is loyal - it never fails. It is also selfless; it wouldn't insist on getting what it wants, especially if the one you love could have issues in his final year because of divided focus.

He sacrifices his material resources for you, what do you sacrifice for him? The airtime you use for the calls that you have stopped because it is mostly one sided?

Stop mentioning love in purely transactional relationships.
Romance › Re: Do I Break Up With Him? by Bahddo(m): 9:14pm On Jan 09, 2020
Fareee123:
Hi elders in the house, I'm a lady, I'm 21 years old. There's this guy I've been dating for about 3 years, we got along so fast that it feels like I've known him all my life, he's in his final year and I'm in my third year, not in the same school though.

He used to call and text often until middle last year, he stopped calling like he used to, I still do the calling, but I got tired, he wasn't reciprocating, when I complained, he said he's always busy, I feel that if he loves me like he claims, he will always check on me, whenever we're together, the vibes of the relationship is still there, but when we aren't together, he's a different person.

There was a time I broke up, I blocked him, he found a way to reach me and we ironed things out, he changed for 2 weeks before he went to his normal self. He answers to my needs guys, he has been paying my rent since my first year in school, he gives me 10k every 2 weeks, he pays for my hair when I need him to + other stuffs too.

Do you think he can change or do I just leave the relationship?? Please ignore the errors, I'm not perfect.
you sound very young, like you don't know what is truly important in life yet.

You are at the stage where you'd pick the guy who showers you with attention and sweet nothing, over the guy who is usually busy because he is hardworking and building his future. Go ahead and choose what you want, just don't come back to talk about your new guy being lazy or broke.

At least we know what he does for you, what does he gain from you? Attention? Occasional calls? Can one eat it or buy stuff with it? There are at least 2 billion other adult females in the world, what makes you worth giving his everything?

You think the world revolves around you so that a guy in his final year would make you his life's focus?

see this one trying to pretend women aren't already expert cheats. They just don't get caught as easily because men do not snoop around very often and because women are the masters of deceit (and manipulation).

Those ladies the men cheat with, up to 99% are in other relationships (including marriage). Stop pretending to hate cheating when you simply hate being cheated on.

See ooo! Chaiii... the wife has the right to go berserk especially when her family are suffering in terms of a husband's attention, basic needs, financial support coz the mumu guy is busy spending his time & money to other women undecided

I juz don't get why a lot of men still wanna get married yet they know they can't keep their itchy d*ck inside their pants sha lipsrsealed

Nawa ooo!
maybe women should stop becoming ice-cold, frigid and boring in bed the moment they get married. Even in a steady relationship, once the lady feels settled, the first thing that suffers is sex - probably the only thing the man enjoys with her.

Either that or you ladies would turn sex into a tool to force the man into doing your bidding. You want him to prefer that crap the wife does to the other lady with whom sex isn't a chore?

I have no idea why men are in a hurry to get into marriage when it is a man-made institution designed to exploit the man with little or no rewards.

Men need to lead the conversation as we can not continue to live in denial that it is not happening.

Sometimes I wonder men who laugh over their sexual abuse as minors and claim they enjoyed it and even say they are presently willing to be "raped" by a woman, if they are not using disassociation as a coping mechanism to deal with the trauma of being violated and being macho about it.
well said.

This world is more delicate than we think o. It's better to avoid troubles wherever it is necessary
crap. You think if it was the man that cheated and was caught, the bride wouldn't 'dry all the laundry in the open air'?

He is well within his right to change his mind about the wedding, and let people know why. You also do not get to decide how he goes about it as long as he doesn't commit a crime while at it.

It's not like the bride confessed. He found out by himself, and probably gave her time to confess. She didn't, but instead, continued planning wedding as if nothing happened. Now you are blaming the guy for not letting her eat her cake and have it.

That's the kind of woman that trick their husbands into raising another man's child.
Romance › Re: Bride In Tears As Husband Cancels Wedding A Day To The Wedding by Bahddo(m): 10:26am On Jan 01, 2020
All the people blaming him are stupid. Who told them they get to decide how someone should react to being cheated on?

The cheating bride didn't disgrace/disrespect both families, but it's the groom who chooses not to continue with the wedding that is wrong.

To hell with the families' egos.

Everybody's blaming her. No one is blaming the brother-in-law. But they're both equally culpable in the affair.
Most women fail to understand that's the way society is structured. If you cheat on your man and get caught, no one blames the man you cheated with.
You are the hoe.
And rightly so too.
do you blame the other woman when husbands are caught cheating? When women ask 'why do men cheat?' as if women don't cheat, do they ask why the other woman made it happen? Keep the energy please. Don't be hypocritical this morning.

CR7 has eclipsed Messi in this decade, both internationally and club levels.
He has the best goal ratio in the last decade
Haven't checked your stat, but it might well be false.

Messi has the better carreer goal ratio regardless and Cristiano has not managed to score 50 goals in 3 years now. Cristiano is only a rival if we are arguing who the best goal scorers are (he is conspicuously missing from lists about playmakers, assist providers, dribblers and passers), and even in goal scoring, Messi is better.

How can only one person dominate nearly all the lists and take home awards for best forward, best playmaker, and best footballer in a world of good strikers and midfielders?
