The Interview questions are quite general...
Whether MSc or BSc,..you expect things like why German, why this program, how is it structured,[s] who is your sponsor, what's the relationship, you have somebody in Germany[/s], etc.
So, you have to update yourself on Germany, the city you are going to, the School, your program etc.#AreasOfConcentration

If dem give you written or oral test, e no go pass Waec/100L questions.

Yeah. This year in particular was very competitive as applicants were way too many, which has led to far less people discussing travel plans here.
Several guys including myself have challenges in transferring the required funds due to lack of forex at CBN. My worry is that UiS deadline to transfer d money is June 1.

Quick question. For people who can't raise approx 2m naira for the blocked account and don't have anyone in Germany to stand as sponsor. Are there any agents or cooperative one can approach for the said funds for a fee of course. Baring in mind the present economic condition in the country.

Yes, I think it's possible. A friend of mine residing in America said there's no need to get a Canada visa from USA if you are going there. Though the guy is a permanent resident over there.

You have to get to USA first then with one or two documents, your dream of going to Canada will become reality.

I think people have given you good pieces of advice. Since you are a family that gives me the impression that you want to settle down there. So let`s restrict ourselves to Western Europe. I guess you are a Nigerian which means that the English language matters. That would then limit you to the only two countries that have English as lingua franca in Western Europe: United Kingdom and Ireland. If you ask me where to choose between the two countries, it would be the UK all day long. Why? The population of The Republic of Ireland is less than 5 million while that of Uk is almost 70 million. I think that matters because the more the people the better your chances...all other things being equal.. Moreover UK has the largest population of Nigerians in Western Europe.

Now, if you don`t mind living in a country that doesn`t have English as the official language, then Germany, Holland and the Scandinavian countries are the best in Western Europe. The truth is that if you live outside Holland, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden it means you have not lived in one of the best countries in Europe.

But you have a Nigerian family, looking forward to raising your children in Europe, as well as looking for a salaried job or self-employed, I think your best bet is the United Kingdom. Let me point out that Ireland uses the Euro while UK uses the Pounds Sterling that might become more significant in the next two months. Good luck

It's highly appreciated and was very helpful. one point i think you got confused with is that i have BSc in mechanical power engineering. i think you have mistaken me for chaiks, he is the one with the high CGPA and BSc in international studies and history. Anyway thanks again for your response. i believe i will continue with getting the norwegian visa and hope i will be lucky enough to get a job post graduation.

Do you think it's practical to finish studies in norway and then try and find a job in sweden, denmark and norway altogether since they all kinda speak the same language?
or maybe apply for danish green card and go there and look for a job?

how hard would it be to find a part time job while studying in tromso or alesund? would it be easier in finland?

Hello brethren. I must say sincerely that the way you guys share ideas here is great. God I'll bless u all. Please I v completed my NYSC since July 2015 but no job. Now am considering masters option in Norway. My problem apart from d money to be transferred is that I don't know if my undergraduate course can get me a job in Norway after studies as I intend to stay further. I am a graduate of international studies and history with a cgpa of 4.49.i intend to do a masters in peace and security studies and I v found one university of nordland. Please how is this city in terms of getting a part time job? With my course, can I apply directly for masters in international business in any Norwegian uni? Wat are my chances of being admitted and must I do toefl or any English exam as a requirement for admission? Ur guide is kindly needed.

Lol no mind my lingua... Germo level refers to a situation where a person does not have enough funds for upkeep and other expenses but they are super brave, optimistic and tough as nails. They hope to get a part time job ASAP to pay bills. A typical person on germo or german german level can leave naija with anything between 100 to 1000 euros
