Politics › To Those Who Say Bbnaija Is Being Aired To Distract The Youths. by Banilla(op): 8:16pm On Jan 15, 2023 |
You are plain stupid. No offense, but if you've said these words, "BBNaija is being used by the opposition to distract the youths during this year's election", then you should donate your brain to science after your death so they can study it to prevent more idiots such as yourself from being born. Yes! You have made me mad tonight, thanks for ruining my evening.
But I'm not just going to rain down insults on you, I'll let you know why I'm doing so.
First of all, for you to say that a show is being used to distract tens of millions of people during something as serious as the general election, after the past years of hardship, shows how low you regard the average Nigerian youth. It means to you, they are no better than infants who have to focus all their attention on a single thing because of their inferior brains. To you they as so stupid, they would willingly stay glued to their screens then it's time to vote choosing their favourite housemates over their future.
If these are true, then they do NOT deserve to exercise their right to vote. They should have their PVCs take from them immediately! Who in their right mind would allow idiots to determine the future of the country? Would we put the fate of over 200million people in the hands of men and women with underdeveloped brains? No!
Secondly, nowhere in the world is it seen where a show has to be cancelled because of the forthcoming election. Asking for that makes you sound stupid. During the political struggle between Trump and Biden, Keeping up with the Kardashians wasn't cancelled, neither was WAGs, and all the rest. If you think Big brother show pull their show, then you believe Nigerians on an average have the lowest IQ compared to their mates in other countries.
You can't force a person to be sensible. Nigerians are human beings with the sense of right and wrong. If they choose to squander this opportunity, then that's their choices. They would suffer the consequences. They aren't children you have to guide. If they can't toughen up and work to take back control of their country, then they deserve whatever they would get. That's life. Despite the hundreds of thousands of shows aired in the United States, the citizens all came out to vote thier preferred candidate, there's no reason why the same can't be done here.
Unless you believe Nigerians can't play the game, you wouldn't need to make it easier. And when you do that, you come off as scared and desperate. |

Kobojunkie: 1. Sin, the disobedience, violation, or transgression of God's Law, is defined by God's Law. What that means is that you would first need to be under God's Law before you can be said to be in disobedience or transgression of said Law. For instance, you cannot be said to have violated Nigerian Law if you have never been in Nigeria or under Nigerian jurisdiction, to begin with.
And since Jesus Christ is God's Law in the Kingdom of God, you will first need to have been born-again, in order to be considered a sinner, living a sinful life under the Law.
2. Well, I suggest you instead begin by counting the cost as Heaven will cost you everything you own and are here on earth. I forgot. When I become born again, my past would be behind me, it wouldn't matter. That's reassuring. I don't mind. I am willing to give up everything. |

Kobojunkie: Again, is the baby born-again? I think I already explained that only those who are born-again can enter into the Kingdom of God which Heaven and Hell are both in - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46. All those who will end up in either Heaven(eternal reward) or Hell(eternal damnation) are born again. Those who are not born-again cannot end up in either of those two places.
For everyone else who is not born-again, the standard law is from dust you were made and to dust you shall return when you die - Genesis 3 vs 19 Omg! I didn't read what you wrote. So, as an unbeliever, I'll turn to dust? Not bad, not bad at all. That's our reality. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Are The Old Testament's Prophets In Hell Or Purgatory? by Banilla(op): 5:26pm On Jan 13, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. What do you mean God isn't biased?
2. God can't do that because He specified in His Old Law of Moses— the Constitution of the State of Israel in the Land of Canaan — that He would only anoint Israelites as prophets to send to His Israel, and that Law is the standard of righteousness in the Land. You see, God never gave men religion, instead, He gave them His Law with obedience as His mandate. So in essence, God does not care or respect your religion. It is His Law that matters.
Now, Jesus Christ is God's New Covenant and Law— the Constitution by which all those who believe in Him are to live by — in the Kingdom of God. And Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear that He alone is the Prophet/Teacher/Master/Shepherd to all those who belong to Him.
So, to answer your question regarding the Kingdom of God, as Jesus Christ stated in His Gospel unless a man is a born-again, He cannot enter into the Kingdom of God where Heaven is an abode. If you do not believe and obey Jesus Christ, you cannot enter into God's Heaven at the end of the day.
3. Again, the God Jews worship, the God of Israel aka YHWH is His Name, is not the God that Muslims worship. His name alone makes that abundantly clear to anyone with eyes.
4. With God, your many roads leading to one destination logic makes no sense. Why? Because His Laws specify exactly which road leads where and How. Again, God gave men Laws and mandated them to obey His Law in order to benefit from Him, but men formulated for themselves a religion with which they could wield power and control over their fellow men. God does not recognize your religions nor their many doctrines and traditions. His standard is His Law, and He will judge all those in His flock by His Law, not the religions of men.
5. The God of Israel said He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Surely, you can see right there that the God of Israel is not the same God you speak of. Did the Jews of then make heaven? Like, the faithful... Not the prophets. I suppose so, but since Jesus Christ, they will all burn in hell. |

Still won't answer the question. Typical. It made more sense to wait years toll he sent Jesus to be killed for our sins? The prophets weren't Christians. Neither were the others we read about. So what happened to their souls? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Are The Old Testament's Prophets In Hell Or Purgatory? by Banilla(op): 4:05pm On Jan 13, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. They were not heathens since they were righteous men of God -- all of them anointed by God Himself unlike your false teachers and false prophets of today.
2. As scripture explains in many of the cases. --- not sure of Esther since she was not listed as a prophet--- they are all sleeping in their graves, awaiting the time of the resurrection promised to them by God.
3. They are not in Heaven since even Heaven will only be open for admission after Jesus Christ returns and judges all those who are of His flock. In addition, the offer offer the Kingdom of God came from Jesus Christ and so as He told you back 2000 years ago, only those who are born-again can gain access to the Kingdom of God..
4. God of Israel is not the same God as that worshipped by the Muslims.
Also, following what the Old Law of Moses - the National Constitution of the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan -, will not get you to God's Heaven. Instead, as Jesus Christ told you, it is by obeying His own teachings and commandments, the Law in the Kingdom of God, that you can make it into His Heaven at the end of the day. Oh. So doesn't this mean we shouldn't discriminate? I mean, that means God isn't biased. He could anoint a righteous man or woman of a different religion and they would make heaven. Also, the God Jews worship is the same Muslims worship. Different doctrines, different means of salvation, same God. Like, many roads leading to one destination. Isn't he the God if Ishmael and Isaac? |

Dtruthspeaker: Leave that one. It is the devil's selling point to Catholics just like the one he gave jws of saying no hell fire.
It is just a Catholics wish and like their evil jw brother, they are hanging on the twisting of scriptures to wit repentance which they call penance and Natural Justice of petty crimes do not carry death penalty. Lm
Which after the devil's manipulation has given them a very false hope. A hope that guarantees their death but unfortunately the Catholic loves this hope since he loves being evil, rather than walk in the Way of Life! lol. Focus on the thread. Ignore the purgatory part, what of hell? You don't have anything tangible to say, just bringing down Catholics. Who concerns JWs with this? |

Reggaemich: Your example has no meaning
SIN is SIN
There is nothing like Big sin or small sin
Base on your example, between the lies told by an adult and a child
The only difference here, is ignorance by the said child, while the adult is fully aware or conscious of their lies or action.
So SIN is SIN
nothing like Mortal Sin According to the Bible, prostitution is a sin but Jesus defended the prostitute. God knows which sins he would forgive, not you. You want to know who he hates? Religious people who think they are blameless, who love to judge others, cast the first stone. Who knows if God would forgive those who commit suicide? Maybe he understands what they've been through. You aren't his right-hand man. |

So after they have done the work God sent them can they go to hell or whatever? Why didn't he teach them baptism? What proof do you have that their souls were saved? So an Atheist or a Muslim can make heaven? |

Reggaemich: is SIN different from Mortal SIN Obviously, would you compare a lie spoken by a 7year old child to murder commited by an adult? Some sins don't have serious consequences on our souls, others such as greed, anger, lust do. |
Christianity Etc › Are The Old Testament's Prophets In Hell Or Purgatory? by Banilla(op): 3:30pm On Jan 13, 2023 |
Hi everyone. I have a question. In the Old Testament, there were a number of prophets chosen by God to do his work, guide his people on earth, announce the coming of Jesus Christ and so on.
They were all Jews, not Christians. They weren't baptized before their deaths and they never accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. So they were heathens. While Jesus was born and raised a Jew, he was baptized, setting an example for his followers so they attain heaven.
Are Abraham and Isaac and Samson, Elisha and Esther... Are they and the others burning in hell for all eternity? Or in purgatory?
Or heaven? If so, does that mean non-believers of the Christian faith can make it to heaven if they are good? If they follow the Ten commandments and keep God's laws? If they love their neighbours as themselves and they love God, who is also the God of the Muslims and Jews... If they do no wrong; don't steal, don't murder, and so on...
Thanks! |

themayor4542: That amount you claimed is small, millions of Nigerians would be very grateful to be earning that. For the fact that you think half a million naira salary is small says a lot about your spending culture. You might not want to believe it, but lots of people build their house with similar income. Some even less. I understand things are freaking expensive now and all, but that doesn’t mean you can’t live a decent life and save to build a house. Exactly! He spends way too much. Imagine earning half a million monthly. I would be saving nearly everything. |

Tired2022: I'm single and I earn a little over 500k but my biggest worry right now is how little that amount is.
Here's the point, my monthly expenses is around 300k which leaves me with around 300k savings. That should be around 3.6 million in a year.
How you wan take buy land of 10million, build house, even buy a decent car of 6m?
In other words, it will take me years to achieve anything tangible.
To be frank with you all, I really hate my income. I wish I can increase it.
I'm just wondering how people cope with similar income especially for family members and still achieve life goals. It's not small. How the heck do you spend 300k monthly? Let's start there |
