The situation is very similar. It really can never be exact.

There are issues on ground and media goes ahead to declare a candidate winner. That's what happened in 2k. That's what is happening now.

How is it similar. The race came down to only one state back then. The margin of error was around one percent or less which meant there would be a recount. To save the U.S any further confusion the supreme court had to weigh in. In this scenario, Trump has lost 3 states. Even if trump won Georgia and PA he still loses the election. So how is it similar?

And why do you think that is? Plus, this is not the first time trump has been crying about rigged elections. When he thought he would lose in 2016 he said the elections would be rigged. And when he won, then everything was fine. So basically, if he won then it's free and fair but if he loses then it's rigged. How does that make sense to you?
