Correction; Nigerians in Nigeria do not want Nigeria to be like that at all? You guys don't even know what your problem is so how do you have any hope of helping yourselves?

Thunder fire all that forced APC Government on us
You mean Nigerians? As far as i can tell, Nigerians forced APC on themselves because of greed and stupidity. The lure of 5k a month was too much to resist. Even when there was evidence to the fact that it was not possible. They just couldn't help being Nigerians. You all should look in the mirror; You are the reason Nigeria is phucked up not APC.

I find it so disturbing that most people follow Christ not because of love of God but they are afraid to miss heaven. It's irritating
This is why believing anyone can walk on water is same as believing westeros is real. Religion is built on fear, ignorance and greed. Only lazy people pray. Why should i be praying when i can roll up my sleeves and get to doing what needs to be done. If prayers were the answer to problems, the Nigeria would be eldorado by now. What with the number of people on their knees on a daily basis. Just check the congregation of any church and you will notice that 90% of the congregation are poverty stricken. It is just unbelievable how people think.

Maybe in Nigeria. Done the right way, with the chemicals and monthly cleaning, it is very expensive. A pool can be a health hazard if not run properly.

A whole 12 rodo? I'm guessing you're Yoruba.
Lol. I'm not. Don't worry. The way the stew is structured, you won't feel the effect if cooked right.
FoodRe: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by banmee(m):
Sup y'all. I discovered how to cook rice and the baddest stew the right way for the first time yesterday. I know what you are thinking. You are thinking "rice? no be to wash am put am for fire?" Well it takes more than " Wash am put am for fire". One thing i hate more than anything in this world is mushy gummy rice. It's always a problem for me because if one is not monitoring the damn thing, it may come out like that even if you parboil it. Not anymore. First let me start with the stew. The ingredients are;

1. 12 habanero pepper/Rodo

2. 1 Tatashe/bell pepper

3. 1 Titus fish

4. Crayfish

5. Any kind of assorted meat

6. 1 Tomato

7. Palm oil

8. 1 Onion

9. Eggs

10 Curry and thyme

11 Maggi cube

Chop up half of the onion in tiny bits and set aside. Boil your titus fish for like 3 minutes and set aside. Boil your meat and cut them up in one and a half inch slices. Set that aside as well. Blend the pepper and tomoto with onion in grate mode. Which means the mixture will not be too smooth. Pour it in a pot to boil till all the excess water is gone. Set another pot on your cooker and pour some oil in it. Add the diced onions into it and let the onions caramelise. Add your meat and fish into the pot to fry with the onions. When they are well fried, add the pre boiled pepper and tomato into the pot of fried meat/fish and onions. Now add the curry and thyme with your eggs if you boiled some and cover the pot with your heat setting at medium. Mix very well and cover. The best way to know if your stew is done is when the oil rises to the top of your stew and the pepper is sticking to the meat which is why you have to be careful not to use too much oil. A minute before you remove the pot add one maggi cube and you are done. I did not have any fish so i used chicken. Fish is better though.

Now for the rice. There is no measuring. Just put the quantity you want in a pot, wash it, add salt and parboil it. The way to know if it is well parboiled is if you pick one of the rice, squeeze it with the tip of your finger and you will see the core is still white. Or, you can taste it and it feels done but still gummy. When you've determined it is well parboiled, pour the rice into a sieve and let it rest. Now take your pot, rinse it out and put it back on the cooker at low heat. When it is dry, add a little butter or oil to the base and pour the rice back into it. Do not add any water. Now cut out paper towel big enough to cover your pot, place it on it and and cover it with the lid of the pot for 45 minutes. And that's it.

Hello Nairalanders,

Already 3 weeks today, my house was burgled while I was fast asleep (most people say Na jazz) . To my utmost dismay, I woke up to realize that my newly bought smart TV of not more Dan 2weeks old was carted away by the unknown men along side my phones and some money.

I was told I could use the IMEI of one of the phones to track other items stolen but I don't just know how. I have reported to the NPF but I haven't heard anything from them yet. To the ICT gurus in the house, Pls is there anything I can do from my own part Pls?
I don't believe your phone was stolen. Why? because of your question. You have internet which means you could have gotten the information you needed from it.

Unless you are a millionaire, i would not advise any Nigerian to invest in one. To build it is not the problem. To maintain it is the issue. I'd rather invest in the inflatable one.

And they've not learnt a damn thing. With the way Nigeria is structured, you cannot defeat the federal might of the government by force. There is no freaking way that's happening. The only option is diplomacy and the igbo's are not known for that. Everything na fight. Plus, i believe that Nigeria could be the greatest country in the world because it has all it needs to be one. Natural resources, numbers in it's population, and diversity. Do Nigerians in Nigeria realize this? NO. All they see is oil and how to use it for their own selfish needs.

This one sounds jealous.
She's not. She telling it as it is. Nigerian/African women are not independent. The reason is two fold. It is cultural and economics in nature. Culturally, women in Nigeria are tuned to believe that they cannot survive without a man which is why apart from having a degree, paramount on their list is to be married so they can take care of their financial needs. The reason you all don't realize this is because you have been cooped up in that country for too long. Go to normal societies and you will realize that women do exactly the same thing men do. From plumbing to brick laying to mechanic to truck driving to drilling etc. You name it they do it and earn the same money. It is really not you all fault though; man, or should i say, woman must whack. cool
