I stopped watching Nigerian matches since Okocha retired and Mikel took over our midfield, I got tired a of the boring spectacle. Once in a while when I'm in a place and Nigerian matches are shown, I get reassured I made the right choice. There is chance the quality of football played might improve with a midfield of Ndidi, Etebo and Alex Iwobi and a right tactical approach.

Super Eagles’ captain, Mikel John Obi was the spark Middlesbrough needed to arrest their poor run of form as he brought his strong leadership qualities to the front to help them to a morale-boosting 2-0 win away at Bolton Wanderers.


With regular skipper George Friend out injured, Mikel was given the skipper band to lead the team out by Manager Tony Pulis as the Middlesborough went in search of their first points since early March.

Ashley Fletcher did not waste time to score for Boro after 16 minutes and again complete it 2-0 just before the half-hour mark to send the fans into ecstasy.


The goals gave the visitors plenty of confidence in the second half but they failed to add to their tally however the win was sufficient to end their six consecutive runs of defeat as they move within two points of the playoffs zone.


Mikel played for 90 minutes and had an impressive game rating of 6.9, completing 90% of his passes, made one key pass, won 7 duels and also completed 100% of his tackles.

For those who just hate Tinubu, although he might be imposing but his guys are known for excellence performance everywhere they are. Think of Fashola, he was arguably the best Governor of his tenure, Ambode despite the rejection is one of the best performing governors, Aregbesola transformed Osun state, Osinbajo is in my opinion the best VP ever in the history of Nigeria.

Gbajambiamila should be supported based on his antecedents in the house of representative and not based on any recommendation or politicking and I bet he will beat every other competitor hands down.

As far as I am concerned, Gbajabiamila had proven over the years to be the most qualified for the speakership position. he has sponsored a lot of people oriented bills, recently he sponsored a bill against estimated bill and his eloquence and charisma is wonderful.

I won't be surprised if he lost because Nigeria has always been known to reject capable men and later do what they know how to do best, Complain.
