If people stop paying tithe today, he might not go poor because he had amassed lots of tithes over the years. Yes tithes are not compulsory like you said but what about the emotional blackmail of members by quoting verses that threaten members to pay. They never teach how the Bible stipulates that tithes be paid and to whom it should be paid.

For all the claims of being super wealthy, we don't know of his wealth pre LFC and LFC makes money through members offerings and tithes, then they build schools that an average member can't afford, even a staff of the school can hardly afford the school. In my opinion, the government is better, because the government takes taxpayers money and use it to provide roads, health and other needs of the taxpayers at little or no extra cost. If the government want to make profits from us with what they collected from us, then they can provide world class facilities that only the very rich can afford.

Unless something is done as a matter of urgency, the rate of unemployment in Nigeria will become unbearable because of these private universities, parents take huge monies to that could have been used to start a business for the children and use it to send them to private universities, they graduate and there are no industries to employ them and these same parents can't give them money to start business

I also did not regret choosing my school or course, I regret the fact I left everything for grades and still made 2.1,so annoying, I could have managed to do everything and still pretty sure I'll make 2.1 just in the 3pt range.

Anyway, I'm doing fine, actually left my Job and going back to school for masters, but these time, things will be different

I regret choosing my school (had the opportunity of 3 other Federal schools), changing my course (opted for a professional course which commenced the year I got admitted and I became a member of the pioneers, HELL!!!) and having just a triangular lifestyle (SHC...School, Hostel, Church). I regret the fact that I was obsessed with my grades and couldn't start up a business (even when numerous opportunities were presented to me). Always felt bad when I had Bs, how much more a C (had a few though). I regret looking at my best female friend with disdain the day she gave me the book "Why the A students work for the C students and the B students work for the government" by Robert Kiyosaki as my birthday gift. It felt like the worse gift I'd ever receive. Yes, she knows I love books but I felt this particular one was out of place and I thought she was jealous not knowing she had my best interest at heart. I never read the book till a year after graduation. A present I received while in 300L (I did a 5years course). I wished I hadn't let my naivety becloud my judgment and read the book earlier. So painful. Thank God I did anyways and I still thank her for that. I never had a steady relationship and it's still affecting my love life now as I still do not see a need for a relationship till I'm fully ready for marriage.

When I served in Abeokuta in 2015/2016,I was surprised this is the capital of Ogun state, it was obviously just under construction. Anything u see there, u will hear "Amosun just constructed it". Abeokuta was virtually a big village when Obasanjo was president.
