If you're blogging for the fun of it, just to get your ideas and thoughts published online, you'll be fine with a free platform like Blogger, , or Typepad.

But if you want to blog for traffic and profit (i.e. you're taking blogging as a business), then you'll have to spend some bucks - at least on hosting, domain registration, and, maybe, design.

As for marketing a blog, I strongly opine that you don't need money for that - provided you have enough spare time and the required writing and SEO skills.

This man has always - or in most cases - made sense. But people's hatred for Muslims and Hausas have prevailed over their senses of thinking.
Remember, this same man told the senators and reps to their faces that they alone are sharing 3/4 of the country's total income (and he backed up his words with evidence, never recanting them)

My friend, reciprocal linking is no longer working for SEO. Infact, it can get your blog slapped by Google and other search engines (which I'm sure you don't like).

So, just focus on publishing quality content on your blog and get only quality backlinks through guest posting and blog commenting.

Don't you know Nigerians can't be satisfied?
If a rapist is clubbed to death (jungle justice), they'll complain.
If the government locks up a rapist, they'll come down here on Nairaland to post comments like, "that fo.ol should have his pri.ck cut off".
And if the law says that rapists should be castrated, they'll say that's barbaric.
Yet, if a rapist is allowed to go scot-free, they'll still cry foul.
So, what should the government do to rapists?

- Write high quality posts that are unique, not copied or spun.

- Write and publish guest posts on high PR sites.

Nonsense! When I read that Reuters "discovered the video was fake", I thought they did a thorough investigation.
So Reuters simply accepted the words of the Army spokesman, and then claimed to have "discovered the video was fake".
What would the army claim before? Would the army claim that the video was original?
Reuters is simply senseless and acting unprofessionally.
It's like me saying "I've discovered OBJ didn't steal Nigeria's money, due to the fact that he denied it in a phone conversation." Nonsense media!
The army and the JTF have been ruthless all their lives, and we all know that. So, let Reuters make their stu.pid discovery using another source.

Google PageRank can be checked at prchecker.info and many others. Just Google the words "check Page Rank" and you'll get tons of them.
