I'm amazed that people are still debating that BB isn't one of the greatest shows to hit TV in recent times. For the purpose of avoiding a drawn out back and forth on this matter I guess we will all agree to disagree. I mean there are people who will always insist that their local brew is just as good, if not better, than the products from the walled vineyards of Pinot Noir. kingsilly: Me too, thought I searched wrong You and Koice need to watch Death Note. While I will never dare to class it anywhere among the greatest TV shows ever, it is one riverting anime. |

So I rewatched Inception a couple of nights ago and I was struck by how it resembled Interstellar in certain areas. Obviously the concept of time paradox has been a pet plot of Chris Nolan for quite sometime.
Interstellar was a great movie nonetheless. It will surely keep its audience enraptured even though a bit confused. Trying to explain it logically at the end is almost impossible but the build up and storytelling was excellently done.
That said I hope in his future movies Nolan explores a completely new concept. No more time paradox movies please. |

atlwireles: John Kerry's state department paid for this report. Sambo spoke in the UK on Jan 22 2015 about Inec's unpreparedness. Yes, John Kerry knew about this report, before his Feb 8th statement. Unless you assume that Kerry is ominiscient there is nothing that suggests that he was aware of the contents of the report. All you have done so far is conjecture... Besides why would he make a remark that makes him lose face? |

Politics › Re: INEC Wasn’t Ready For Elections On Feb 14 - US Institutions by Bawss1(m): 4:53pm On Feb 12, 2015 |
atlwireles: According to the report, the NDI and IRI delegations were in Nigeria between January 15 and 20, with the aim of assessing the current political and electoral environment in the lead-up to the February 14 presidential election; assess the preparedness of all stakeholders for the election and offer recommendations to enhance citizen confidence in the process. Is there anywhere you gleaned that the report was ready before this time, or before Kerry's last visit? The dates in January was when the teams from the NDI and IRI were in Nigeria working on their report. |

Guyman02: John Kerry knew this and still came here to insist that Feb 14 should be sacrosanct. He preached about non violent elections and tackling BH even when US refused to sell arms to Nigeria. Hypocrites! How would John Kerry have known about this report before now? He is not ominiscient. |

Most times now,we watch shows cause the director is Great,Our favorite actor/actress is there or we want to see something new,etc......But is there anything new about any of the shows we watch? Is like watching HOMELAND and stupidly believing that's how the CIA works or watching PRISON BREAK and believing you can just break out and do anything you like.... All this things are just entertainment, and I believe everybody has their right to decide what's entertaining to them!! Relax homie we are just chilling here, nobody takes these things seriously. @Naijababe. I wanted to see how you rated other shows and if your rating system was suspect. You can tell what kind of TV person someone is by glancing at their list of highly rated shows. For the fact that House of Cards and GoT made it in to your list of great shows your TV rights will remain unrevoked. I wouldn't call OITNB a great show though - just mildly interesting, I'd put it in the same class you put White Collar. TBBT wouldn't be on in my list for the singular reason that I find that Sheldon guy nauseating. Can't stand him. Your dislike for BB remains an anomaly. |

Better a wise leader that makes some gaffes than a President that loudly talks about a strategy that makes absolutely no sense and paints him and his country as weak. Yo Tex, you are assuming Buhari has said anything in regards to building the country asides from the chants of change that we hear everyday. Watch the interview in its entirety. If it was Jonathan that made such a gaffe we would all have flamed him for it. |

2. Those that watch sh1t go down
3. And those that never knew sh1t happened.
Go back to sleep. Maybe when you wake up your favorite writer would have adapted the events of the present into a novel and the movie would have been out with your favorite actors.
Sheeple. So I take it that you belong to No.1(a) Those that make ish up? |
Politics › Re: How Did Tinubu End Up Owning Lagos State House, Marina? by Bawss1(m): 5:45pm On Feb 10, 2015 |
RevDesmondJuju: The Alliance for Democracy, AD which was the an offshoot of NADECO was the party that Tinubu rode onto limelight in 1999. That party still exists. The AD is a shadow of its self since Tinubu has bought everybody that can be bought in Yoruba land (and that is actually nearly everybody). Ask them (AD chieftains) what they think of Tinubu and you will be amazed!
Another bomb fact I want you to remember is that the same Chicago based legal firm that represented both Bola & Remi Tinubu in the 90's was also home to an upcoming obscure lawyer - Barack Obama.
The Chicago PR firm that used the same Change Slogan for a successful Obama election is the same machinery with the same errily similar slogans and methods that is being employed by the APC in close alliance with an Obama white house.
Enjoy one of my classic pieces... Classic? Normally I turn to works by Tom Clancy and Fredrick Forsyth when I want to be regaled with espionage stories, the amount of detailing that those authors put in their stories is breathtaking it always leaves the reader in doubt whether the stories are merely works of fiction. You on the other hand have left me assured that your work is largely fictional (at least the part of Tinubu working for the CIA) You fail to cite credible sources and make use of a whole lot of anecdotal evidence, just some he-said she-said ish. Anybody can fabricate dirt on the internet, its easy, just make up stuff that nobody else can verify and repeat it frequently. I'm not defending the man - I don't support him or Buhari and it may be very true that he has enriched himself by cornerning juicy contracts from the Lagos state govt but I certainly don't believe all these Internet allegations that political rivals always kick up when they are against him. Anyway as to your attempts at fiction here's an idea; why don't you try a story where Tinubu acquires Banana Island and tries to sell it to the CIA so they can exploit the secret oil reservoir that exists there. Add a sexy heroine or two to spice it up. That should make for an equally wild tale and it may be more successful... I need more iced tea. BTW what's all that about his PR team being linked with Obama? That subplot didn't gel, was it suppose to be an indictment? |
