Come to think of iT, whaT is even food? Courtesy demands that when someone visits you, you offer him something, irrespective of who.

For e.g, I'm quiTe picky with food, I don't eat onion or anyThing prepared wiTh iT. I have 8 sisters in law and They are all aware I don't eat onion. They are always like "adanne, we are cooking onion food today o, so you can eaT whaTever." Since They know I don't eat onion, iT will be surreal for Them To give me onion food and I'd definitely raise an eyebrow. That would send a message across To me.
