With time all wonds heal, i happen to find my self in a similar case, but mine was worst because i spent 10days in prison, truely i bleep d gal, who at dat time just finish secondary school waiting 4 her result, she also had a younger sister who was preparing her 4 her ssce n this gal i bleep unkown to me had a baby b4, but d child died, so it not her first experience, and d perent claim d gal is a minor (14yrs) fortunately 4 me i had a gud lawyer, who could prove beyond reasonable doubt that she wasnt a minor, to cut long story short, i want to let u know that i am glad i had that experience. .prior to dis case i have never been in a cell not to talk oF prison... with time all hurt heals . I am a beta person now, In prison one robber ask me say if to say na aids i get onkor? Wetin i go do? And that got me thinking. After test d baby wasnt mine.

IS DIS AN ADVISE OR WOT?

As of the time of writing this episode, my best friend (let me call him K) is inside the kirikiri Prison, Apapa, Lagos.

It all started on Thursday 5th of march,2015 when he was arrested from his office and taken to police station for interrogation. He was arrested on the issue of impregnating a gal with the gal claiming to be seven months pregnant. He denied the act immediately then he was asked to call his people, which he did. His parent and I went to the police station and witness everything going on. His father asked him if he slept with the girl but he said no. Then we required for his release because no evidence to nail him, except the girl’s claim. The gal’s uncle spoke with the DPO in secrecy, so the bail was been delayed. An uncle of K who happened to be a retired police officer was called and he intervened by calling the DPO and asked to release him or he would be petitioned (if kept in custody within 24hours). Due to that threat the bail was denied that night and he was charged to court the next morning.

The parents claimed the girl is a minor, 16yrs exactly. But according to the form she filled on admission to the computer school she attends. She was born on 7/7/1997. Which means she will be 18yrs by july this year. While in court the case was adjourned to april but was asked to be reprimanded in prison until his bail conditions are met. From there he was taken to an holding cell at ikeja customary court. We told him to be patient that the day has gone but it happened to be on Friday which means we cant bail him until Monday. The mother asked the officer if he would remained here till Monday. He said no that he will be taken to kirikiri that night. The mother busted into tears claiming his son is not a criminal while should he be taken there. She cried bitterly but we consoled her and went home.
Meanwhile my friend, K has informed me of the act in January when the gal’s uncle came to threaten him about the gal’s pregnancy. According to him the uncle came saying he got his cousin pregnant and she has been sent to the village. After meeting with the manager, the gal was called on the phone and spoken with in a loud speaker for everyone to hear, and she claim my friend is responsible for her five month pregnancy. K denied the act totally, claiming he is not the owner. The uncle left that day only to come back two months later.
Now note this, my friend is a womanizer ( a player like some people call it), he likes women a lot and sleeps with many of them. I asked him what really happened. He told me he slept with the gal but that should be by November which should be three months to January and not five months like she claimed. And moreover he used condom on her.
The bail has been delayed now because of compiling the documents we were told to bring. But even after completing the documents, we were told the magistrate is not on seat. That he travelled for other assignment and will be back on Monday 16th march, 2015.
The second issue now is his fiancée who they have been together for seven years now. She called on Friday to ask after her man claiming he wasn’t picking his calls since morning and later it was switch off. Asking me if I know his whereabouts. I lied to her saying maybe he travelled urgently but she should relax. The parents and I decided to hide the incident from her expecting K to come out on Monday to do the explanation by himself or at least should be present. Now we don’t know how the incident will turn out. But the mother insists that if the baby is proven to be his (using DNA test) that she would accept that as her grand child. After the parent agreed that the fiancée should be told. I went to her place and narrated the whole thing. Immediately she busted into tears. She cried for a very long time that I couldn’t console her. She claimed to have given my friend everything. Starting from her love, commitment, financial help and so on. And yes! She is not far from the truth because I am aware of some of this. She told me that it means K has been cheating on her not just with that gal. I said no, claiming that it just happened. Even the said gal claimed that K slept with her only twice. This she heard sparked her head and she busted into tears. We went to K’s home and she went there to cry again. The parent consoled her and told her it has happened but she should just pray for him. Now her problem is the pregnancy. She said she can’t bear the pains knowing another gal is pregnant for him. She felt betrayed and hurt. She claimed even if the baby is not his that she can’t marry my friend again because the trust and love will never be there all her life again. I pleaded with her at least to give a room of listening to my friend and hear his own side of the story. She told me that she don’t want to hear more lies from him. That she felt like killing him right now. In fact my friend should die inside the prison, that’s the only thing that would please her now. She even accused me of knowing K cheats on her but I hide it from her.

On my own part. Yes she is right I knew K cheats on her and I know of her sincererity and love towards K. She is a gal I admirer even more than my gf. She doesn’t keep friends. She is not social. You won’t find her on social media even if she is registered to them. And she is not dependent on anyone not even my friend K. So once again she didn’t deserved what she got now not after 7 years of faithfulness towards her relationship. But there is little I can do because I can’t live his life for him. I always cautioned him about all gals issue but he really loves sex. That is his major problem.

So right now I don’t know of how much I can console the gal, or the best advice I can give her. She has refused to eat for two days now. Crying bitterly daily. I felt guilty for not doing more for her.
Nairalanders, what can I do to ease her of her pain and anger that she bore right now without been at the receiving end?

Even though am not from anambra state,but I am ibo speaking. I suffered the worst heartbreak of my life when after about two years my boyfriend then ended our relationship after engagement and showing me to his parents. My enemy almost had a heart attack;thank God I am married to the most wonderful man in the whole world. Pls tell your friend to run for her dear life.

@ op. If I say I understand u den am bluffing. Som of u just live and breath within ur small town, village or hut but easily jump to conclusion on matas u don't av broad exposure on. Many threads av been created on issues like dis and counter thread has followed in d past here on nl. Yet ppl like u don't learn. I personally av seen cases of one tribe rejectin d odas for one reasons or d oda even if its selfish. For example I av seen different xters of diff tribes xo now I ubderstand dat individuality plays in along d way. I dont understand when people tag anything that happens to humanbeing as destiny. No matter the circumstances people still believe the individuals are destined to be in their respective fortunes or calamity that might befallen them..

Here begs an answers to questions like these:

1. what happens to an infant that dies in a ghastly motor accident? if you suggest it to be destiny then God has not done well by bringing the child, and taking its Life without fulfilling any purpose.

2. A situation where you see a peaceful, caring, generous and loving person died premature. Then you tag it destiny while there are thousands of people living with bad intentions all their life and gets old even become successful with their evil deeds.

3. A situation where a person sees the pedestrian bridge but decided to cross the highway and due to his carelessness got hit by a vehicle and died on the spot. some people will stil argue till their last breathe that he is destined to die like that.

4. someone might just pick hatred on you and torment you till you ceased to exist. And the person continue living his/her life while you are in your grave waiting to be recieved in Hell or Heaven as you belief.

I can go on and on to list many attrocities commited and people believed it is destined to be.

My Opinion:
I believe God has a good purpose for everyone ones you step into this world. But the problem lies with how you intend to maintain yours.
From the bible I believed Esau altered his destiny when he sold his birthright to jacob all because of food, and likewise jacob did when he made the attempt to get easu's birthright.
So i believed our destiny is in our hands. Anyway you handle your situations will lead you to your destiny.

Especially when we put God first in anything we set out to achieve. Then expect your destiny to be a positive one.

These batteries that you are buying, are they new or used products? Before you buy another one, I suggest that you test the current battery on another compatible PC. That would help you verify whether the problem lies within your PC or not.

thast the problem, i cant get another compatible laptop to test. the ba3.

I have problem with my computer battery. i bought a battery and when i started using it, i noticed it will start showing low ba3 at 68% and later it will go off at 33%.

i will put it on again and it will stay for the rest 30% and goes off or i put it off. it becomes persistent and i decided to go and change it.

i was giving anoda one but the problem still persist. Now i dont knw if its my system that is generating the faults or the ba3 is still bad.

As of now that i am writing this i av requested for another ba3.

so guys what might be the problem and the solution to it.

Sorry I couldnt watch d video due to the device i am using. But speaking on the issue i will say it has its positive and negative influences.

One positive thing is that it provides room for the public to know more about who is who and what they stand to offer if elected in public offices.

But the negative part of the media propagation is becoming a steep mountain for a climber to aspire on especially in Nigeria. The media promotes politicians irrespective of their perceived works in their respective port-folios being it good or bad as long as you have the resources to carry it out.

What i am saying is this: If a politician in Nigeria should steal billions of dollars or naira and even get convicted in the court of law will still recieve praises from the media if he chooses to. The media in naija promotes more bad than good and only let you see what they want you to see.

Yet we cant do without them except you want a voiceless nation.
