The children are in worst situation if they have an irresponsible parents of both father and mother. Such is the case of the example I gave above. I can remember the father of those children was after a 13 year old girl and I have to warn him off. The next thing out of his mouth was, abeg leave me the girl don dey collect dick.. Just imagine such from a man who has two female daughters. The annoying part is that we can't choose our parents, else some should be childless all their life.

Believe me when I tell you that some parents are not only careless but useless in training especially their girl child. I once live in a house where a mother will always send her younger daughter to come and greet me whenever I come back from work. She does that because she knows I always give some stipends to her children. Sometimes I send the child away stylishly but I always pity the daughters for having such a useless mother. Only God knows if those two girls won't have been defiled by now.

I think so many factors have to be considered in this regard. Some women find themselves as single mothers due to some circumstances that befall them, which might be beyond their control. Such as hubby died, irresponsible husband and so on. Nevertheless you are to intently discussed with your supposed new hubby if he is willing to shoulder the responsibility of your kids. Some might agree not until you are in his home then he will change his words. At least we have seen a case here on this forum. So it is not easy to say if you are not in the shoe of both parties.

Most times I have seen men take kids, they dump them with an elderly female relative. Meaning they know women will do better with caregiving, so why take the child away from the mother (a woman too)? It is logically and semantically wrong to say all things being equal. There is never a certain condition that can make all things to be equal. You rather say other things being equal. Ofcos so many things can be equal under some circumstances and conditions even some factors can make them equal. Just to point it out to the users of the phrase.

Well probably most of you don't know how tangible health insurance and tax are in the US. How many of us even pay tax in Nigeria?

Please ignorance is not an excuse, it has been proven that it doesn't matter what a lady wears she might still get rape because it is a premeditated acts. A lady with hijab has being raped, Uwa was raped inside a church, how well could she have dressed? If you can't rape your sisters and mothers because they wear revealing dress when at home with you then you have no right to point it to the way women dress. There is no way you will live with someone and don't know their bad side except you want to deny it. It's just like how we know some of our mothers to be wicked yet we still defend them no matter what. So most men know what their wife is capable of, they just ignore or turn a blind eye.

Money is power and power intoxicate no matter the gender that wields it. In this part of the world the woman already has a mindset that the man must be the provider when it comes to union between couples. So when the reverse is the case she finds it tough not to use it against the man. If she earns more than the man then she will provide higher and have more money to spend. There are few ladies out there who won't mind but majority of them will definitely use it against the man. This is the society we live in and there is nothing you can do about it.

The most annoying part of this issue is that the so called husband always turn a blind eye and allowed the wife get away with it by showing little or no concern at all. I will be very blunt with my future wife when it comes about hiring a maid. I will let her know if she won't be treated like a human then no need bringing a maid into our home.

When people use the word mind your business, sometimes I wonder in what context are they referring to? How well should I mind my business in the following scenarios:
1. If my neighbor is having sex with a minor in the same house we live in.
2. If my mother treats our maid as trash since I am not her primary employer.
3. If my friend or brother rapes my step sister and threatens to kill her if she talks.
4. I can as well turn a blind eye to the looting of the national treasury by my party members since the money is enough to go round.
5. I can as well remain dumb when I know my colleague is stealing from the company since it is not my money being stolen.
6. I can also close my eyes when I see my friends raping a girl since she is not my sister.
I can go on and on till I have ten pages full of these lists of minding my business. Well any of these will only be my concern or your concern when it happens to people we love, that is hypocrisy. You want to turn a blind eye and yet still have a sane country to live in. Please stop deceiving yourselves it doesn't work that way. Though we can agree that some things are not actually your business. A case study of the example the OP gave about a boss contemplating on sacking his employee because of her personal life. I just had to laugh when I read that. Believe me if employers are to go by that judgement then most of us might be out of work even the OP. Nevertheless some issues are so paramount that you have to make it your business if you claim you want to have a better society to live in.

Some of you are just jumping from learning one language to the other without being proficient in it. It seems you don't know how it works in tech world where you might be asked if you have 3+ years in Reactjs,Python, C# and the likes. The experienced focused on using such languages to work where you were compensated either in wages or salary, not just random learning of the language.

Learning it without using it practically is tantamount to useless overtime. It is a practical field therefore you must be ready to explore what you have learnt. You can start building real world app that solve problems and monetize it.

The truth is that you will be surprised at what your children do or watch in your absence. You can try to shield them away from all these yet they still indulge in them one way or the other. My approach to my kids will be to imbibe in them the consequences of trying to imitate what they watch or think they have seen since I can't be with them 24hrs a day. If both are true Christians then love should be enough for both as stated in 1 Cor 13:4-8 that love is everything needed to sustain marriage. So since people don't see love the way it is being described above in that Bible passage then it is never enough for marriage sustainability but rather other factors chosen by the intending couples must come to play else it becomes a disaster.

If you are talking about teenage girls then that percentage is extremely high. The problem I have with a guy pointing out this stats is that it is we guys that deflower this teenagers. So many guys no longer consider the word minor again, all they see is a girl with breast and tight body shape. I got tired of telling guys that girls below 18 should be seen as a minor and treated like a child that she is. I bet you if you do your statistics very well then you will discover that older guys actually take the virginity of these teenagers. Why then do we put blame on a naive little girl instead of a beast that conquered her?

I believed sex should be enjoyed between both parties involved, so discuss with him why you can't have it everyday like he wanted it. He has high sexual urge but he should be reasonable with his sexual partner so that both can come to concord on how to go about it. It shouldn't be done in a selfish manner.

The reality I see around is most women know that their husbands cheat yet still remain in the marriage because they have little choice as I explained above.If you tell me to start giving examples that I have seen...hmmn I will write till page 20. I asked one why he was cheating on his wife and he told me that the wife knows, only exception is that he must not marry another woman after her.

The rate at which married men cheat this days is alarming I swear and there is little the woman can do because they put themselves in a situation where marriage has become an achievement in order to get to her highest pinnacle in life.She neglected building herself and getting some financial power before marriage which resulted to inability to make financial contributions in the marriage, totally dependent on the husband. So even if the husband cheat, she can't divorce but to stay and pray for a miracle. A woman in my previous house left her cheating and abusive husband and left with two kids, but she had to come back because she couldn't take care of those kids on her own except she wants them to suffer. many are on this path right now and many young ladies will join them in the future. A man respects and fears a lady who contribute a lot to the family and dare not try rubbish with her because he knows her worth that she can leave if he messes up and continue her life with her children and never misses an inch of the man.
