The poster is right when she says guys nowadays detest love so much. I have read countless threads bashing ladies a lot than any other topic. I guess most have encountered slutty and shameful girls. Well I blame some of these irregularities among we guys. Most guys don't see any relationship fruitful without sex. And the ladies know this, so demand for anything in return no matter how silly it appears. Either you want to accept it or not, there are reasonable ladies out there who will love you and not be dependent on you. You have to place yourself in the position you can find one.

I don't buy the MIL idea of testing the lady. Even if she eats the food with anger it won't change the type of person she is. How can you allow her to wash the meat, then serve her with out it. Haba that's total disrespect from the MIL. well everybody with their own yardstick. As for me, I don't like such and I won't allow my mother test her in such manner.

Haba! Ladies can be so funny. Imagine you sleeping with a married man and still glorifying your atrocities. Even attacking people's comments here without shame or remorse. I tell people that it takes two to make a marriage work. Yes you might not be sexually active but because of your marriage you should be ready to make sacrifice. The man may eventually starts cheating if she refused to be considerate. My two cents...

He said blame some mothers for the way their male children turn out to be bad losers. He probably understood that most blame goes to bad parenting and mostly the father. But in this case, he is alerting you that some women go overboard when caring for their male child thereby raising a wife beater. I guess some of you don't get the angle he is looking at it.

You are just making unnecessary excuses for your illicit acts. Firstly you have betrayed your friend. Then you didn't deserve that wife you married. If you are serious and ready to repent or change then you should tell your wife and ask for her forgiveness. Any action she ask you to take concerning the issue, you should reason with her and adhere to it.

There is no problem when you have the opposite sex as your bestie or close friend. But the issue there is if you can't separate friendship from someone you love and share intimacy with then I will just quit the relationship. You should know that every person wants respect and feel secure with their partner. Let your friends know that this is your gf or bf who you share romance with and respect must be given to that effect. Anything short of that is a big No for me.

How can you claim to be 30yrs and don't know your left from your right. When it comes to the choice of who to marry, countries in Africa and Asia still have a very long way to go. I was dating this Pakistani man from early January this year. He is a core Muslim. I mean is mum is from Jordan. So what i am saying? At first it was all friendship, especially teasing each other countries. Like I joked about the caste system in his country which was mainly about how he can’t marry a black Pakistani even if her father is a multi multimillionaire. Well he said that himself. So we started liking each other. During that time I thought about a lots of things. He can’t marry me, so why the hell do I have to go into this? Well we can’t choose what the heart wants. So a time came when he let me talk to his parents. His mom was welcoming and all but his father wouldn’t hear of it. His son with a Black Christian girl from Africa. Well it wasn’t a good reception from his dad. I didn’t have the guts to tell my own parents. I told my uncle and he was like, “ you want to be taken by an extremist, uncle(my dad) won’t hear of it “. Then it finally dawned on me, that if we in a world get married, what religion wil my kids follow. I feel my religion is right and he feels the same about his. Do I really want to do that to my kids? Do I really want to have families not talking to their children because of who they are in love with it? There was a day we were at Asda and displaying the normal public affection and a black woman(sure she is Nigerian) asked if my parents would be okay with it. I had to lie and she gave me this look.
So what I am trying to say? No matter how strong your feelings are for each other, anyone, you should always consider the future. Yes, consider your kids. I wouldn’t date a poor man, as at this level I am. Yes some people will say struggle with him now and it will get better but we know how Nigerian men are. I wouldn’t even date any tribe apart from Yoruba.

Ps: this is me not being shallow. It is just the reality we sometimes have to face and be honest about. The Indian girl could defy her parents, I can’t. I love them too much. Maybe in a thousand years we can finally get past that. We had a peaceful break up. It doesn’t have to be blunt all the time. Cheers

See my sister, the world has evolved beyond this is my tribe and I must marry from my religious partner. Our parents grew with that mentality and beliefs but are not ready to reason out of it. That's why we in this part of the world are still crawling when it comes to development and civilization because we will rather stick to culture no matter how blind it is than reason with it. Challenging your parents to some of their beliefs does not make you a disobedient child but making them see reasons from other angles. If you don't know that your happiness matters a lot to u, how do you want them to believe that your own personal choices makes you happy instead of the ones they want to stuck to you or make you choose neglecting whether you like it or not. Some people have lived their life within a confinement of one small city or town. And they don't read books neither have they gone out to see what the other side taste like. So all their reasons and actions depend on what they have seen so far and the ones they grew with. I try everyday to teach and educate people that the world is way bigger than that their small village or compound or street they reside because it shapes our reasoning and actions when we know that life does not end in that hole you reside.

Instead of you to chastise the act you are here pointing fingers at pastors. Which means you can do the same to your daughters. In other to have a better society, you should be ready to condemn anything that is out of the norms either being a Christian or Muslim. You as a father can make the girl see reasons why you want her to marry from your tribe's men or religion. But not force it on her and take her choice away from her.
