Crown Prince:You are wrong. Urhobo's, Edo's and Efiks travel and establish themselves in far off places as much as the Igbo's do. |
llbhuds: 1stCitizen:You only display your unfortunate morals when you go personal and avoid issues. Make an argument backed by facts or shut up. I'm quite tired of the sentimental nutcases that are streaming into NL these days. |
namfav:If there is a war, it will be fought right there in the North, so any Southerners there are very safe indeed. I don't see how anyone can match oil finances, it will be a war of oil vs groundnuts. Since boko haram is the new political weapon and army, we are better off conquering the place by raw force of arms. Any war will kick off in Borno, bauchi and Northern kaduna. Plateau and Southern Kaduna will be the new border areas (outside of which will be boko haram republic). if people don't want peace and keep harassing we the quiet ones, one day we will unleash a reaction that is barely believable in its force, violence and precision. If una de find war, den mek una ready o! Una wan see di tin wen mek ogoro jump. ![]() |
hercules07:What if those primary schools have airconditioned buses to ferry the students to and from school and are also ultra-modern and equipped with computers? Many of you will continue to mope, gawk and make uninformed noises while the ND states morph into a paradise. Levels don change, bro. |
The sad fact is that some folk don't know that they are paying for the upkeep of the likes of IBB and other corrupt souls. These ex-generals have written the siphoning of national resources into the law. It is corruption made legal and the poorest pay for it. |
kettykin:Lol! If it happens, Ihejirika na awa blood and Petinrin na awa guy. There are Jet fighters in Enugu and JTF is 100% under Niger Delta control. Lets roll. |
It is past time for Nigeria to divide, so lets roll. Hefri man, hansa ya papa name o! Let there be no more free launches for anybody. ![]() |

Subsidy: Price of Petrol Drops at Depots 17 Oct 2011 By Ejiofor Alike Petroleum Minister, Mrs Dizeani Allison Madueke Contrary to fears expressed in some quarters that the planned removal of subsidy could trigger crisis in the downstream and also encourage marketers to hoard petrol and hike the price, investigation has revealed that the price has actually gone down at the depots. It was feared that the government’s announcement of its plan to remove subsidy next year could trigger price hike as marketers could embark on rationing supply to take advantage of the impending deregulation. But THISDAY gathered at the weekend that the ex-depot price of PMS in most private depots in Lagos has dropped marginally but no filling station was yet selling below the official pump price of N65 per litre. It was also learnt that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was still selling its official ex-depot price of N55.60 per litre, despite the price drop in privately-owned depots. According to investigation, most private marketers were selling at an average ex-depot price of between N54.50 and N53.80 per litre. Some of the private marketers include Integrated Oil and Gas Limited, Eterna Oil, NIPCO Plc and MRS. This development was contrary to the initial fears that marketers could hoard products and wait for the government to implement full regulations in January 2012, so as to sell at market-determined price. Marketers, who spoke to THISDAY at the weekend, said none of them would indulge in hoarding because there was too much volume of products in the system. One the marketers stated that they were even reducing the ex-depot price to ensure that they reduce the volume of products in their depots. “Too much volume of products is chasing few users. There is so much volume of products in the system and the only marketing strategy to reduce it is to crash down the price in the depot. This may even affect the price at the filling stations,” he said. Executive Secretary of Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigerian (MOMAN), Mr. Obafemi Olawore, also confirmed that there were products everywhere and assured that marketers would not hoard products. Olawore noted that the major marketers had never been involved in hoarding petroleum products, even during the period of scarcity and blamed the incidence of hoarding on few unscrupulous dealers. “You should know the difference between a dealer and a marketer,” he said. President Goodluck Jonathan had stated that the Federal Government was keen on the removal of petrol subsidy and gave assurance that proceeds from it would be used to provide critical infrastructure in the country. He also assured that safety nets would be put in place to ease the impact of the policy on the masses. The removal of the petroleum subsidy is expected to save the government N1.2 trillion in expenses. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/subsidy-price-of-petrol-drops-at-depots/100686/ |
Well faster car does not guarantee anything besides his car was not the fastest last year anyways i wont deny it gives him some leverage but the kid is still a damn good driver
His car wasn't the fastest last year, seriously? Lol! He just had real difficulty coping with Webber's challenge in the sister car. The only thing I agree with is that Vettel is good. I really doubt that he is as quick as Lewis, Alonso and Rosberg (there's also Senna, Algesuari, Kobayashi and Kovalainen). Webber is an also-ran like Massa, Truli etc and is poor material to guage a fast driver against. |
aribisala0:LOLZ! ![]() |

IMHO, IBB and Atiku are behind boko haram with Buhari as their donkey. |
blink182:Every word you utter is grounded in ethnic bigotry and low-mindedness. Why? A large proportion of the folk in GEJ's inner circle are Urhobo, you only need to use your brain a bit and their names will pop up. |
^Those are my thought exactly. When you are busy drumming for the project, i cautioned your ignorance about how things work in the north. I specifically mention that FG has no business in putting hand directly into fire, other than making laws through the legislative arms that would criminalize the activities of Almajiris and their parents. But i was called names from the "befnefato of almajiri" to "Jihadist", and all that. All you need to do is, tell GEJ to hold each respective governor with almajiri issue accountable, and responsible for making sure that the menace is eradicated. Afteral is more of culture and ignorance.
Nobody is gonna throw in the towel without trying, that's just not gonna happen. It is best to try even when things look difficult as they do with the North today, you never know what the effort will produce. So, I say try, try, try and try again, and one day success will come. ![]() Success comes to those who persevere, as long as the country remains together, it is wisdom to invest in educating the almajiri. |
sheriffman:The states you mentioned are all in the core-North. These are the core-Northern states:
[li]Sokoto[/li] [li]Katsina[/li] [li]Kano[/li] [li]Kebbi[/li] [li]Jigawa[/li] [li]Zamfara[/li] [li]Northern Kaduna is in the core-North, while Southern Kaduna is in the Middle Belt[/li] [li]Yobe, Bauchi and Bornu are marginally core-Northern[/li]
|
^ Those promises are being fulfilled, but it just looks like an attempt not worth the effort IMHO. A man's got to realise how bad his shape is and then make effort to change; I don't see that realisation in the core-North. |
cold:I didn't think anybody would be here. Nice race it was! Algesuari was a major surprise. |
And the procession continues. . . . Vettel Hamilton Webber on the podium. Vettel jumped Hamilton from tip-off and of course held on till the end with a lead the size of Russia
Lol! The Red Bull is still by far the faster car, poor Lewis had to fight with might to keep Webber behind and Jensen could never even remotely trouble Webber. |
The almajiri problem is only prevalent in the core-North, it is wrong to use the general term, "North" in this case. With boko haram replacing almajiri's, there is very little hope. It looks like things will only get worse for the core-North. |
I find this whole saga absolutely digusting. Why are so many Nigerians caught up with noise-making and shouting foolishly? It is so embarrassing. There is no reason on Gods good Earth why NDLEA should go all out to broadcast that the man has been arrested for drugs smuggling when evidence is yet to be found. Nigeria is just a wild and lawless place; it wil take years (maybe decades) to heal the wounds from the low-self-esteem that the majority of our population is struck by. The NDLEA officials have nothing to gain (until there is evidence) outside giving loud interviews to a press that is equally id!otic, but for them thats enough to breach due process and expected protocol. I weep for Nigeria. |
Drug tainted.

Losing murderers. |
Fresh Air!!! |
Joseph Kony routinely kidnaps children, makes the girls sex objects and the males murdering child soldiers. The man himself is a crazed mass murderer terrorising the people with what he calls a religious war. I wonder why there are so many foolish "bark at the Moon" threads suddenly dotting NL? Perhaps we will soon have folk demanding the right to be paedophiles. Some people should be sat down and remorselessly slapped until their ears pop through their nostrils. ![]() |
