lagcity:Lol! You might even find some of the answer on NL. . . However, it is the truth that Aregbesola is easily the worst of our governors, and by a long shot too. |
^ Ondo is not that bad. |
We've beaten poverty by state and region to death on NL enough times, the general stats are like this by ranking (anyone with the strength can go dig them up). 1. SE (with the exception of Ebonyi) 2. SS (with the exception of Bayelsa) 3. SW (Oyo comes tops) / Middle Belt (exception of Niger and Adamawa) 4. Core-North The above said; its sad to see that this thread finally degenerated into an ethnic squabble. |
koruji:Ah ah! What sort of long story is this nau? Please free me! ![]() Lets love our country and be happy with our new pilots who were once militants. |
What I've just read is a beautiful outline. The so-called fuel subsidy goes straight into a few fuel importers pockets anyway; after which some promptly drive their tankers at top speed into Niger, Chad, Cameroon or Benin Republics. . . Double killing at the expense of wider society. The crux of the plans lie below. The bolded must not fail: “A major component of the policy of fiscal consolidation is government’s intent to phase out the fuel subsidy beginning from the 2012 fiscal year. This will free up about N1.2 trillion in savings, part of which can be deployed into providing safety nets for poor segments of the society to ameliorate the effects of the subsidy removal. For the first time, it would seem that Nigeria is actively considering some sort of welfare scheme for the less privileged. Better the money is paid out to the poor than going into some "I don't phucking care about almajiri's" alhaji's pocket; the equivalent in the South would be those who don't give a damn about the omo ota's in Lagos. We've had enough of that wicked outlook to life, maybe Nigerians can truly learn to smile at last. |

Boko Haram ‘commander’ moved to Abuja By Yusuf Alli, Abuja 1 hour ago Boko Haram key suspect Ali Saleh has been moved to Abuja for interrogation, it was learnt yesterday. Besides, seven of the 19 Northern states have been placed under intense surveillance by security agencies. Saleh was arrested alongside some members of the sect by the Joint Task Force (JTF), after an attack on some buildings on Baga Road in Maiduguri. Saleh was relocated from Maiduguri to Abuja for grilling, following revelations from some Boko Haram (Western education is sin) suspects in detention. A source, who spoke in confidence, said: “We decided to relocate Saleh to Abuja from the custody of the Joint Task Force in Maiduguri as part of a comprehensive probe into the activities of the sect. “We are already quizzing the operational commander of the sect who has made useful statements.” According to the source, “there is no doubt that some retired military men, who know how to use dynamites, have joined the sect to assist it to manage some of its sophisticated explosives and weapons.” “The security agencies are making substantial progress. I think if we are able to track down one or two fleeing leaders of the sect, we can check Boko Haram menace,” the source, who pleaded not to be named because he is not allowed to speak to the media, said. Responding to a question, the source added: “Saleh may be a notorious gun runner, but preliminary findings have confirmed that he has been central to the activities of Boko Haram.” It was also gathered that seven of the 19 states in the North have been placed under intense surveillance, following the success of the operation against Boko Haram in Borno State. Besides Borno, the other states are Yobe, Bauchi, Niger, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina. The move followed reports that Boko Haram members in Borno are regrouping in these states. The source said: “We have a challenge in Kano State, in particular, where intelligence reports have confirmed the presence of some Boko Haram leaders, including the leader of a breakaway faction of the sect, Abu Mohammed. “But we have been very careful in managing the situation in Kano State because the state was noted for sectarian violence some years ago, until sanity prevailed. Instead of an outright crackdown, we decided to mount intense surveillance on Kano State. “It is the same constructive security engagement that we have in place in Yobe, Bauchi, Niger, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina. These states have considerable number of Boko Haram members too.” http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news/21904-boko-haram-%E2%80%98commander%E2%80%99-moved-to-abuja.html |

Idoko vowed that the would investigate the allegations that a major oil company uses military personnel to perpetrate human rights abuses in the Niger Delta region and that any officer found guilty of these allegations will not be spared.Shell or Chevron? |
If Massa is told to destroy Lewis race it has to be for the benefit of Alonso. Massa is Alonso's cow to be milked and 2 + 2 = 4 Lol! I've always been a McLaren supporter, cos they don't do the dirty stuff that exists in Ferrari's DNA. There's no number one or number two, everyone gets on track to slug it out. McLaren have also always had the best drivers and most electric drivers on the track; Mika, Kimi, Pablo Montoya and now, Lewis. Senna and co came to early for me. But the tradition extends backward. . . Best team in the paddock, bloody beautiful car! ![]() |
3 ex-militants perform solo flight at aviation academy in S-Africa On October 5, 2011 · In News , By Kenneth Ehigiator, with agency report Johannesburg—The Federal Government’s amnesty programme appears to be yielding the desired results as three former Niger Delta militants, undergoing aviation training in South Africa have successfully done their solo flights as part of requirement for award of private pilot licence, PPL. It was gathered that the ceremony, which took place at Afrika Union Aviation Academy, Mafikeng, North West Johannesburg, was witnessed by the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Mr Kingsley Kuku. Mr. Clifford Wilson, Manny Suku and Kufre Obot, who were among the 20 former militants, including two women, admitted at the flight academy last March, who flew for three hours. At the ceremony, Kuku expressed delight at the performance of the former militants, saying “I am happy to see my brothers doing this solo flight and landing smoothly without an instructor. It gives us a sense of hope that if every Nigerian was given an opportunity, he or she will excel.” Kuku commended President Goodluck Jonathan for supporting the programme aimed at empowering Niger Delta youths. The Principal of the flight academy, Mr Allan Roebuck, described the trainees as a “crop of dedicated, disciplined and well-groomed young men and women,” adding that they had made Nigeria proud. Wilson, who spoke on behalf of the trainees, said they had received sufficient training which prepared them for the solo flight. “I am comfortable with the level of competence at the flight academy. This is a day that I have been waiting for and I am glad I made it,” he said. Prior to the departure of the former militants for South Africa early in the year, Kuku had reminded them that their enrolment at the aviation academy in South Africa by the Federal Government was to ensure they took over the helicopter operations of oil and gas companies in the Niger Delta in future. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/10/3-ex-militants-perform-solo-flight-at-aviation-academy-in-s-africa/ |

That map is not about oil, fool, or Bayelsa would have been number one. So what about the business to catch gorilla's in your state capital? |
Akwa Ibom agreed to pay disburse the minimum wage on the 26th of last August. |
I really wish people would stop creating threads about Mutallab. Its getting tiring. |

danjohn:If the messenger has leprosy, then their message is leprous. |
Quite a few members of the armed forces are boko haram people, so the warning is necessary. In fact I would recommend a purge. |
shadrach77:Bruv, I don't think it really matters that much you know, cos Aregbe doesn't hang around Osun state. He only comes in as a visitor from Lagos, maybe even Oyo. |
^ The only states more developed than Delta are Lagos and Rivers. So if you abuse Delta state, ain't you saying your state is really like a zoo then? ![]() This is the map of GDP (PPP) in Nigeria. It shows the relative wealth of the various states outside of oil. You see where Delta is? Lol! hercules07:I must have missed their replies, or perhaps they were made in outer space. Nobody has ever explained any of Aregbesola's crazy shenanigans. I would be very grateful if you would take up the challenge. LOLZ! |
^ I certainly don't crave respect from your type. It would be like a saint craving respect from thieves and robbers. Make your point and exit the place. If you have nothing to say, then zip it.
Beaf Not support Jonathan presidency does not equate to ethnic bigotry. I brought out an example for u to see. Beaf you can not label people ethnic bigot just because they do not support Jonathan presidency. I mean he has not said anything patenting Jonathan ethnicity or "Jonathan is the worse president because he is Ijaw" A lot of Kanuris spoke bad of Abacha leadership, does that mean they were ethnic bigots. Certainly not
The reason I made my statement is that examples of Balarabe Musa's inciting base Northern sentiment against GEJ are all too common; it has nothing to do with support. I brushed you off, because these things should be common knowledge, even to people like you. It is also wrong and unpolished to infer that someone has said something they have not; check your first post and you will find that you are guilty. Dude, that method of communicating is irritating. |
so not supporting Jonathan = ethnic bigotry ? ![]() so yorubas that did not support OBJ also = ethnic bigotry against their person Not everyone would like Jonathan, you need to understand that, but that does not mean they are ethnic bigots
You seem to pluck arguments straight out of your anus. At this rate, if there is war, it will be fought and settled in the core-North. |
Fundamentalist group disowns Sultan as northern leader By Chimezie Enyiocha October 4, 2011 07:02PM A religious fundamental group, known as Akhwat Akwop, says it does not recognize the Sultan of Sokoto or any other Islamic traditional ruler in the north just as the group condemned in totality the recent northern traditional rulers meeting held in Kaduna. In an electronic mail posted on the Internet yesterday, the radical religious group which claim to have its base in the southern part of Kaduna State resolved that for the desired peace and harmony to be achieved in the north, the Hausa/Fulani must stop encroaching, stealing or laying claims to land which by any stretch of the imagination does not belong to them. Akhwat Akwop, which is a rival religious fundamental group to Boko Haram, further called on all indigenous communities in northern Nigeria to immediately caution Hausa-Fulani on their lands to order. “The Hausa/Fulani must respect the norms, cultures, values and traditions of their host communities.” Akhwat Akwop alleged that the Hausa/Fulani onslaught is aimed at Islamizing Christians in the north and Nigeria as whole and seizing, stealing and acquiring ancestral lands of indigenous communities in the north”. It also alleged that the Hausa/Fulani Muslims are trying to destabilize the government of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in other to seize back political power by all means and at all costs. It therefore called on all Christians and indigenous communities in the north and indeed in Nigeria as a whole, to most vehemently resist these agents of evil and anarchy. Quoting from Matthew 7:9, Akhwat Akwop called on Nigerian Christians to wake up from their slumber; “Do not give what is holy to the dogs nor cast your pearls to swine lest they trample on them and tear you to pieces.” Akhwat Akwop has identified the Islamic republics of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, and Sudan as the sponsors of the Islamic onslaughts in northern Nigeria. “Akhwat Akwop states that nationals and diplomats of these countries are persona non grata in Nigeria and our commandos have instructions to hunt you down where ever and whenever they get you”. “Akhwat Akwop is stating to members of Boko Haram and other Islamic fundamentalists/terrorists that you have tried us and not found us wanting. Akhwat Akwop will match you blood for more blood, violence for more violence, and life for more lives. It is better to jaw-jaw than to war. End the madness you have started or we will be forced to permanently end it for you. A word is enough for the wise”. “Akhwat Akwop states here that should President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan not want to continue as president in 2015, the presidency must and should remain in the old eastern region of Nigeria”. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5744385-147/fundamentalist_group_disowns_sultan_as_northern.csp |
Balarabe Musa is a backward ethnic bigot not worth the trouble. He is in the same category as Ciroma and Kaita, angry and unwise old men. |
^ Lol! Uduaghan is bad, but try Aregbesola! That guy has broken all records for ineptitude. He is the governor of Osun, but he lives in Lagos! Na wa! Thats whats called, phucking useless. |
^ Boko haram, I know chewing too much grass affects your brain; lets hope it isn't damaged beyond repair. The common thing among you bigoted ACN outsiders is your ability to forge things and lie with ease.
@Beaf, I think you'r worse than Ibori! You pedal falsehood and defend criminal with such zeal the likes of Ibori,Uduaghan can only dream off. As a ND myself, I know your likes are so many in the region especially in your 'darkness ridden' state of Delta. Hence I am not surprise that you can come online and sing the praise of a 'prototype' governor. Go and check the oil revenue accruing to Delta and Akwa-Ibom - almost in the same bracket- but can you compare Akwa-Ibom to Delta infrastructure wise? A governor that chose to power ALL the street lights in the state using generators with his wife the disesle contractor, you sure know that governor is an innate crook!
Lol! Yoruba man from the ND! You got jokes! Dude, you clearly have an argument with your arse and it is winning! ![]() Sorry to burst your bubble, but I do not support Uduaghan, and when people like me were screaming our heads off about Ibori, bigoted donkeys like yourself were worshipping and defending the frog-like drug baron called Tinubu. Please run along. Presenter of forged cheques, the governor of Delta state is not stellar, but Delta is better than the bush you come from. |
Beaf, You choose to delude yourself in believing the check was forged, however kindly take a close look at the date and see that there is a numeral in front of the one, its most like a '2' and that makes the date it was cleared be 21st of June and not 1st of June. The second check as well was cleared first of July. If truly this check was forged, why cant the Delta State Government sue its source for dafamation, instead the defended the check saying Obasanjo Farms is their Agricultural Consultant.
The check the Delta state govt is totally different from the forged one in question (check the numbers). If various govts decide to sue the press, they will be accused of being draconian. Sahara Reporters is well known for forgeries and falsehoods and thats where Rhino.5dm got that pic. The fake pic below too is courtesy Sahara Reporters. http://saharareporters.com/photo/photonews-jonathans-declaration-when-jonathan-women-met-goodluck-men www.nairaland.com/attachments/324341_SaharaReportersFakePicture_jpg69a0b6e4ad1c8831fa731bd73bb022d2 Shocking! |
Loveangel:Please get it right, bro. I am not an Uduaghan fan, not today, not tomorrow, not yesterday. However, I will puncture any lies and forgeries thrown up by ACN people for ethnically bigoted reasons. Asaba is quite developed and will continue to develop, however towns like Warri, Sapele, Orerokpe are home to some quite rich people and businesses that do not rely on govt. |
