My real reason for the comment? I read some of the responses and tied it with what everyone can see in Nigeria.

You need face recognition, not fingerprint. Face recognition is the worldwide standard for e-voting. If you are coding in C# and WPF I can give some help (well a great deal really).

I am able to authenticate all the staff ID thats not the issue. For instance, i need to show form1 if the gardener is logged in, form2 if manager is logged etc.

The code was quite helpful thanks. But i am using VB not ASP as the program is not web based.
Hmm. That page is a not for web based apps, it for windows forms with code in VB.NET.

Anyways (since you can already authenticate), the simplest way is to use two panels in the same form. Then you can hide one of the panels depending on who is logged on. Set the Visible property based on if Authority = 1 or Authority  = 2.
Its much like webdezzi has said.

I am also very uncomfortable with the term Wazobia and I do agree it does marginalise the minority groups. Suggesting Pidgin English will also marginalise most people in the North. People in the North mostly speak Hausa and not Pidgin, in the west Yoruba, it`s only in the east, South south and the mid west speak that most speak Pidgin English. By suggesting pidgin English only u will be marginalising more than 60% of the population.
You've got a point there, but don't you think those in Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba areas would just not consider learning any other language? One language would need to be supreme.

ilugunboy:
@Beaf, how is that feasible?. And how did u come about 80% in Lagos?. Nna!

You sounds more reasonable than this, don't allow emotion to becloud your senses.
Sometimes one has to put "reason" aside. Some of the responses to the ND crisis are very heartless, ranging from vicious propaganda to ignorant rage.

Witness the blatant protection Ibori is getting from the highest levels. Nobody is blind to the level of FG protection given to Ibori at home and abroad, yet we are told to blame our leaders. Also ND states get their monthly stipend from the FG (like everyone else), therefore they are accountable to the FG alone (when govs embezzle money, it really is FG money), governors are not accountable at state level.
If it isn't the impossible "blame your leaders" task, there is always someone willing to suggest that "Boko Haram" tactics are applied in the ND or even that ND population be exterminated as a sacrifice for the rest of Nigeria. But if oil were to stop flowing today, what would happen to the country?

There are a lot of people who say ND people don't go to school, yet Delta and Edo regularly produce the highest number of JAMB entrants per capita, there are others who say ND people don't want to work or we don't want to clear the oil spills etc; all sorts of crap. So please pardon me if I say, should the nation split, the ND should be allowed to cart off stuff to recoup what it can as recompense for 50+ years of thankless suffering.

It comes across quite vividly that the nation views the ND person as worthless, tolerated only for the value of their land.
Politics › Re: Can This Be Abuja ? by Beaf: 11:35am On Nov 23, 2009
One thing is certain, if 9ja splits, ND must be allowed to loosen everything in Abuja to sell. The same thing should happen to 80% of Lagos.

"Nigga" is a derogatory word and no amount of argument can change that. It is more painful to see some Nigerian JJC spew that abominable word with reckless abandon. I nearly smacked okro seeds out of the eyes of a 19 yr old JJC (In Jew York for less than a week). It was bad enough he was spewing that trash trying to ''rap'' in a room filled with hardcore Nigerians, but to extend his hand and address me as his "nigga" was the last straw.

I wasn't even sure which was more painful; forcing the "American accent" on his thick bush village accent or saying "nigga" like it was the new "good morning".

"Nigaa this, nigga that,  know warram seyin". *in thick nerve shattering bush village accent*
It is bush people (including some musicians) that are always the quickest to pick up such rubbish.

Okro seeds from eyes. . . Damn! grin Man you must become the new minister of agric; then instead of instead of sending almajiri's and area boys to jail, they can be sent somewhere were people can continously slap okro seeds out of their eyes for farmers to plant. grin

Beaf I regard myself as an honorary Waffi-man.  E get as e be.

By the way, I have been alerted by none other than His Excellency Map-Meister BecomeRich that your flagrant and wanton deployment of maps in this forum has been referred to his stable of legal luminaries who will immediately launch a barrage of punitive lawsuits against you, if that pirate map is not deleted with immediate effect and alacrity
Yes you are a most welcome honorary Waffi-man. . . But please don't do our beloved Pidgin English, what the dreaded BecomeRich does to Queens English. grin
Already, 3 little Wafi boys have been hospitalised so far this morning after visiting NL. embarassed Therefore by order of government, you must continue to entertain and awe us with the thud and staccato of your formidable verbal weaponry in the Queens department.

I wouldn't worry too much about becomrich; at this moment, he is no doubt ducking and diving on some quixotic mission to nowhere and no purpose. His stable of legal luminaries have been scattered asunder by his abandonment of google cartography and electricity engineering for a one-sided joust with the red eyed dogs of the PDP.

A major part of Nigeria's problem is due to wazobia and wazobia marginalisation policies.
We must drop all hints of wazobia, Pidgin English alone will do just fine.

If one listens to the cadence of black American English, many vestiges of African pidgin English can be picked out.

American :  He done went over there already.
African     :  He don go that place already

American : I'm fittn' to go see my baby momma.
African     : I been wan' go take eye see my pikin mama.

American :  Them niggas booked up.  They was runnin' fast than a mu'fugguh, tryin' to git away from the po-lice.
African     :  Come and see how mugu dem dey run for police.

The cross-pollination of linguistic idiosyncrasies between America and Africa  has spanned generations, and will continue on into the future unabated.

No! No! No! Stick to Queens English man, your talents lie there.

Consult Wafarians for what I might call "compressed and tight pidgin". cool

Go through the following checks;

1. That Visual Studio is running with an account that has powerful enough permissions.
2. You are an Administrator on your computer.
3. Your software license is activated.
4. All software dependences are installed (check if it works on some machines only).
5. If you are using Oracle, check that the DataProvider is the right version (if you are using versions 10.1 or 11.1, try 9.2).

The problem lies in one of these.

Ok, Beaf . . .this has nothing to do with being a hip hop listener.

Just like teen violence is blamed on hip hop, the use of the n-word alike. Yes, these rappers fuel the issue with their messages but these teens- are they stupid or what not to be able to discern right from wrong? If you choose to listen to rappers and not your parents then you're on your own. Hip hop doesn't tell you to do ANYTHING.

Mandingo, didn't know you're still strolling these boards with your lame lines. If you aren't obsessed with Nigeria/Nigerians then "Obsession" must have a new meaning. Blah!
