@ElRazur. Your statements are reckless and dangerous.

You have'nt experienced racism in the UK? Hmmmm. Even my kids have, lets leave that aside.
You almost seem to be defending the bnp. . . Horror!

If you think they are "better" than the kkk look up "Combat 18", its links to bnp and of course the links between Combat 18 and nick griffin.
Along the way, also find out deeper things about Millwall football club.

NOTE: Don't use the wikipedia article on Combat 18

@ElRazur.
Enron was caused by fast fingers, same as the Global financial meltdown (pyramid scams with property and Chinese loans)
There is a vast difference in the scale the crimes I mentioned, but you don't hear that the US or UK are corrupt.
Politics › Re: Uk To Build N300m Prison In Nigeria ! by Beaf: 2:54am On Jul 09, 2009
Only 1 million pounds?
strangleyo:
good

we need alot of prisons
Do you need a new house? Or you wan change address? I'm just joking.
But don't you think UK is looking for a cheap way (1 million pounds only) to offload their problem on us? It will cost us much more than 1 million pounds to rehabilitate (or just free) the 400.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Yahoo Boys And Western Hypocrisy by Beaf: 12:42am On Jul 09, 2009
The real issue?
Nigerians sell our country too cheaply. The smallest oyibo nonentity only has to mention "corruption"; then watch insecure, holier than thou "I can sell my mother" types start going over the top with how bad it is in their village and how police took away their idiot brother. . . By the way, how we Nigerians are so useless, even our President is called YaraDull.
If we dress like mad people, don't be suprised when fingers start pointing. We are the ones doing the selling.

What if it was Nigerians that caused this global financial meltdown? Enron? Mardoff? Abi no be corruption cause am?

IG, you've made a solid point.
To what extent would this action be viewed as reconciliatory? Does an investigative commission have the power to recommend punitive steps against elected and cabinet officials? Would it not be appropriate that they find and pinpoint where gaps exist and then recommend areas of improvement for dialoguing change and reconciliation, or unity if you will, than extending their tentacles into the political structure of the country? For a country still recovering from the divisions of war, would not this recommendation capsize the efforts of the fragile nation to stabilize and unify?
Maybe radical actions are required to bridge the chasm bewteen the so called "African" and Americo Liberians.
Charles Taylor (an Americo Liberian) erupted straight out of a US prison cell to wage war and take over govt. Sirleaf (another Americo Liberian) supported him morally and financially - no questions asked.

The truth is, Most of us use dont understand English language in its real sense and dont exactly speak it as it is, rather we "convert" our native language to english instead of translating. So in actual sense, when a guy meets a girl for the first time and tells her he loves her, he is actually trying emphasise his likeness.

for instance, like = like, like + like = 2like, but, like X like = love
Why are you complicating issues? Which mumu no know d difference wit love and like?

Who do these people with fake accents think they are deceiving?
I've even had a lot of white folk ask me why some Africans speak with a fake accent!!!
So oyimbo knows its fake, we too know its fake. Whats the advantage? All we need do is speak clearly.

The picture is blurred to hide tampering.
The foreground is very strangely, more blurred than the background.
It's easy to see that there is no deep shadow between both men, instead it even gets lighter.

I'm not talking about modern culture that is a confusion of east, west, christian, moslem and God knows what. That really isn't our culture.
In the past when women were expected to be a virgins before marriage, any extra kurikula meant you could only be accused of rape or adultery.
I'm not talking about women. In my culture, a man would be accused of rape or adultery.
It is entirely another agument if that culture is has been lost or destroyed; but it existed in the past.

@ poster

It's called the law of survivor. When you are in Rome behave like the Romans. How many Nigerians back home really live like westerners? Abeg all this is caused by an incurable inferiority complex.
Exactly! If Barak Obama had been Nigerian maybe he would have changed his name to Micky Jack, still be washing dishes and talking with an invented accent.
Politics › Re: Yar’adua Leaves For G8 Summit On Wednesday by Beaf: 6:07pm On Jul 08, 2009
When they ask the negative people here to "answer their papa name" and be present at times like below; thats when you start hearing stories about "am too young", "my mama no too well", "na me go dey front?"
Yet you want to sell your country cheap. Shame.

Cowards.

Politics › Re: Yar’adua Leaves For G8 Summit On Wednesday by Beaf: 6:04pm On Jul 08, 2009
Shame on negative people. Even if the country is corrupt, shouldn't we accept the much we have attained. Shame, its people like you guys that make some 9ja kids over here ashamed to answer their traditional names. Shame on you.

There's nothing cultural about what you're describing. I don't know of any African culture that has no punishment for adultery.

~~~One that he buys gifts (food, clothing, phone cards)~~~
Hmmmm. You seem to have incredible detail on the "friends" and his exact habits with them. Did you get this idea's "by ear" or are your questions based on solid experience? It just seems a bit much.
Did you intend to create a thread about recipes? I can move it to Food!
That's the problem, that there's a section called Foods. . . And that section already has an article on Nigerian recipes, so a new one isn't needed.
Please can you delete it?
