Good evening my people,

I'm continuing from where I left off. So my dad got into the school as well as many other Muslim students who were deceptively sent to school. Students were all forced to attend church services and other religious activities, Muslims particularly were targeted and given special treatment. Missionaries some of who were white began teaching students things like "No nation can defeat Israel", "Israel is God's chosen people" and other racist teachings. Muslims were not allowed to pray and MSSN (Muslim Students Society of Nigeria) and IRS (Islamic Religious Studies) weren't allowed as well, so Muslims students were like sitting ducks waiting to be converted to Christianity.

However, not all of them are actually bad. There are many Omoluabis amongst Christians and this is a fact, the Principal who's a Christian really liked my dad despite the fact he refused to embrace Christianity. He made him a Prefect (Food Prefect) and my dad used this position with the help of other Muslims to approach the Principal and requested that Muslims should have a voice. The Principal agreed and allowed the Muslims to establish MSSN and IRS in the school.

But the damage had already been done, not all that came in as Muslims left as Muslims. Many of my dad's relatives and friends became Christians. One of dad's friends (he's like a younger brother to him) just suddenly told him one day "Bros, I can't be following you to mosque again o, I'm now a Christian". It struck him and he was so so pissed with the teacher he suspected to have been responsible, his friend then went ahead to convert his elder brother but was unsuccessful with his immediate senior brother. It got so bad that my dad wasn't allowed to go home after the holidays, he was forced to stay with a guardian in school who was also a missionary. The reason is just to convert him to Christianity.

I just saw footage of the crash and saw they had 1 C130 Hercules and 6 jets flying in basic V formation fly by used for shows with the Charlie 130 holding the apex of the V formation , the last Alpha jet at right rear of the formation suddenly gained acceleration and broke formation speed and hit jet number 2 right V of the formation sending both of them scuttling to the ground... From my experience in aircrash investigation I would suspect two things

1 .. software or electrical failure the caused the defaulting alpha to suddenly gain speed ( least likely )

2 . Pilot lost consciousness during the manuveur ( most likely)

I will go with two because I noticed the pilot of the defaulting alpha never tried to avoid the jet ahead of him when his jet increased speed and also didn't not even attempt to eject after the jet became irrecoverable like the other guy did ... well it's my two cents but only proper study of the flight performance recorder and voice recorder can say what reaĺly happened

Just as i told some people, anyone waiting to defeat APC via elections is just wasting his time cos APC has perfected the art of rigging. On the other hand, this Osun election will be the easiest election tribunal case for the courts because of clear rigging. Adeleke would easily win this one in court. Thats why i really pity all the APC supporters jubilating here and rgt now. Even a blind man could tell it was a case of clear elcectoral rigging not to talk of the courts. The real shocker is coming at the tribunal when Adeleke would be announced the governor. My only fear for this country is that from what i've seen in osun and ekiti elections, the elections in 2019 has already been rigged in favour of APC.

Good day everyone,

This thread is not to malign Christians but to state the what's going on in the real world as well as Nairaland. I've been a guest on Nairaland since 2011, but decided to join the forum in 2014 due to things I saw in the Religious Section against Islam. We thank Seun and other MODs for creating a separate section for Muslims as this has helped and protected us a little from cusses from non-Muslims especially Christians.

I'll talk about the real world, I'm a Yorubaman from Kwara State. And we've been victims of oppression and deception by missionaries. Now note that I'm not directing this to Yoruba Christians but the missionaries some who were British and few Yorubas. Islam in Yorubaland dates back to as far back as 15th century according to some scholars. Yorubas started to embrace the religion since the 16th/17th century thereby making them one of the oldest Muslims in Africa. In fact Islam is older than some worship of traditional gods in Yorubaland, and I can state for a fact that Yoruba Muslims are the majority. I know I know, some Yoruba Christians would dispute this fact. Lemme break it down for y'all, the only states with majority Yoruba Christians are Kogi, Ondo and Ekiti states. Muslims make up the majority in Kwara, Oyo, Osun, Lagos and make up 50% of Ogun State if not more. The vast majority of Yorubas in Benin Republic and Sierra Leone are Muslims, so let's not deceive ourselves here.

When the missionaries began spreading Christianity after we were conquered by the British, they used all sort of vices including deception and force. I'll give an instance with the north, the main reason why the north lacked and had bad feelings about western education in the early days was due to some antics of the missionaries. One popular example was when the Colonial government sent the missionaries to Zaria in order to teach the people "latinlized" version of Hausa rather than the "Ajami" version, when the missionaries got there, they changed their position and then decided to pick the 3 brightest young men from the city. Their aim was that, if they were successful in converting them to Christianity, they in return would bring the rest of the city into Christianity. The people discovered this and sent them out, this isn't the only way they tried, however, I'll leave that for now.

Unlike Northern Nigeria, the missionaries were extremely successful in their quest in South West. They quickly removed the Ajami scripts the Yoruba Muslims used in writing and proselytized a lot in Muslim areas. As I said earlier, I'm from Kwara State and I know first hand what the missionaries did here. During the days of my dad, a distance relative of my dad who was already a Christian and worked with the missionaries and had connections in one missionary school in Igbaja, Ifelodun. The school's name is ECWA secondary school. The man convinced my dad to apply to the school but my dad applied to it alongside Offa Grammar school which was government school. My dad got accepted into both schools but his uncle who was a missionary and a preacher refused to show my dad the admission offer from Offa but only showed him that of ECWA. So my dad had no choice but to attend the missionary school and didn't discover that he was offered admission until many years
