You'd pity the doctors and innocent individuals that lost their lives during the initial outbreak

May their souls Rest In Peace. The best that can be done is to wipe it off the face of the earth. I can't imagine losing a loved one to such an ailment

Nigeria has done a very wonderful job in containing and eradicating the viral disease.

Yeah Naija did Africa proud.I heard that it has reached Uganda our neighbor.Actually when I was growing up in the 90's,I remember there was an outbreak of the same in Uganda.It's only become popular recently but we had our fingers crossed then & we have our fingers crossed now.We like to call Him "The God of Kenyans" and we are trusting Him to keep Kenya & the world safe.

Yes it is my mother tongue. Am a Kikuyu girl. Kikuyu is Kenya's largest tribe & mainly occupies central Kenya.It's also the name of the language spoken by the Kikuyu people.Swahili is the national language spoken inKenya & a number of other East African countries.

I speak Swahili & Kikuyu fluently.I also understand pidgin atleast the basics though I don't like speaking because am not fluent & I don't wonna murder the language.

I agree some things can only be experienced when one is actually there in person. The celebrations went on well.I moved to another town recently.Prior to that move I had some Muslim friends but sometimes when you move different directions in life, so do relationships.We've not been in touch for a while but trust all is well.

Actually my journey was okay thanks for asking. I live about an hour's drive from my family.I haven't been to Kenya in a while though I hear things are really pricey.My family just returned from Kenya in August though I hope to be back home next year if all goes well.
