Dear Jzhane, My world has just come crumbling down....my marriage to Seun is a big fat lie! My husband Seun is a twin. When I met him three years ago in London,I was quite fascinated to be dating a twin. I was dreaming one day if we got married that I would have twins also. When I met his twin sister kehinde,I was also surprised at their closeness. I thought it was cute. Prior to meeting Kehinde,Seun talked alot about her. How that they grew up quite close, more like soul mates. He even joked that his past girlfriends used to be jealous of his relationship with his twin sister. When we were courting,I suspected that Kehinde was pretending to like me but soon as we were not been around other people, she seemed not to be interested in what I have to say. I honestly thought she was just being a needy sister to her brother. I gave her the benefit of doubt because of how close she and Seun were. Last month,Kehinde went to Nigeria and came back with ...read full story and other stories on the blog : https://livelystones.com.ng/i-thought-my-marriage-could-survive-anything-but-incest/ |

Good Evening Jzhane, Reading your stories and advise on your blog has not only motivated me, but compeled me to write my heart breaking story. Yes! Ify dumping our marriage of just three year with our son is quite heart breaking for me. It still feels like am dreaming...just that am still finding it hard to wake up for the dream is my only conviction its reality. Most disastrous relationships we find ourselves usually have it warning sign, but we kinda ignore them...this is my experience and it leaves me with so many unanswered question each time I stare are our one year old son Ray. How will I explain this to him when he grows up? How will I look him eyes ball and say your mum abandoned us because of money. I fell in love with Ify on sight, her family just moved into my neighbourhood few months before i gained admission into the university. She beautiful to behold. I wooed her morning and night. Osagie my best friend actually tried to discourage me when he noticed that Ify was materialistic, but I was blinded. One occasion Ify walked out on us when a guy who came from abroad showed up with a fine car. After I graduated and started serving I was still keeping in touch with her, but at that time we were talking like we where dating. As soon as I got my first bank job in Lagos, I didn't waste time to Invite her. Waoh! She gave herself all to me. The spark of our relationship started. I gave her N50k when she was going back to Benin, from that day Ify will call me. Two years late I bought a car and traveled with it. Before, I could propose to Ify, she has already agreed. Infact, a week after I left Benin for Lagos, she was in my place because at this time I have rented my own apartment and we just continued to have fun.She will ask for this and that.I practically could not save something tangible even though I was well paid.As long as she was mine, I didn't worry. Not too long , we got married and she took in immediately. However, all the love, laughter and happiness was short lived. A fraud happened in my unit, though, I was not involved, but my job was found wanting in that area and I was terminated. I tried to secure another but it was not forth coming. Ray,our little son just clocked one year and we couldn't celebrate it because of financial constraint. Daily Ify, will nag me,call me all kinds of names for not being able to secure a job and provide for my family the way I used to. One day,after....................read full post and many others on the blog : https://livelystones.com.ng/helpi-am-heartbroken-she-abandoned-us-after-i-gave-her-everything/ |

Dear Jzhane, My name is Pricilia(not real name). I am a mother of three children and I am currently pregnant with my fourth child. I am very unhappy in my marriage at this time and I need your help and advice. Ever since I got married to my husband,I have been noticing several behaviors that I dont like. We have been married for five years now. I met my husband as a virgin. We are not doing very well financially because my husband is a Driver and the pay is very poor. He was also doing his part time degree course. So all the money I made from my petty trading went into providing for the family and assisting my husband with his schooling. I did not plan to have a fourth child but I guess mistakes happen. I almost aborted this pregnancy when I found out. This is because,we can hardly even feed ourselves at the moment not to talk of having another extra mouth to feed. With all these challenges,my pain is that my husband is always flirting with women. Women from his part time schooling and some of his passengers as a Taxi Driver. Many times I see text messages that his female friends send to him. When I confront him,he just starts shouting at me. One time,I reported him to my pastor in church and when we got home,he....Read full story from https://livelystones.com.ng/my-husband-his-sister-are-threatening-meplease-help/ |
Good Day Admin, Please keep my identity private but kindly let me know when you post this as I want to read the comments and advice from what I am about to share with you. I have been married for six years to a wonderful man. We have two children. Last year,he got a job offer that was in Port Harcourt. I was very happy for him as the offer came with plenty benefits. But I was also sad cos that meant my husband would relocate to OH without us. My job and our family support system is here in Ibadan. We talked about this and agreed that he would be coming to see us in Ibadan once in a month. Its not been easy but so far,we have been trying. Last month was a wedding anniversary. Though he planned that we would celebrate the anniversary when he came to see us at the end of the month,I made up my mind to secretly give him a surprise by traveling to PH to visit him. So,I arranged for the kids to go their grandma’s place and I set out to PH for my surprise visit. I got to PH quite late being that its my first time. I also didnt call him to come pick up at the park,I took a taxi to his house. On getting there,I was shown to his apartment in the compound. He was not back from work. So I called him and told him I sent him a surprise package which he needs to sign off that the courier man was at his door. He said,he will call his neighbor to receive it but I told him its a surprise only for him to see. He agreed and came back after like 15 mins. When he saw me,he was truly surprised and we hugged each other passionately. When we got inside,I told him I brought ingredients to cook his favorite dish for him and I went straight to his kitchen to start cooking even though I was so tired. When I got to his kitchen,I was surprised to find that he had so many food stuff and his pots were filled with all kinds of food. Stew, soup, etc. I was surprised cos I know my husband cannot cook. I asked him how he got these foods. I noticed he was uncomfortable. My husband is a terrible liar too. He tried to say..em,my colleague’s wife helps me cook. I told which colleague, let me call and thank her. He said,ok..thats a lie,I am sorry but if I tell you,you would probably be angry. So I promised not to be angry. He then ................ https://livelystones.com.ng/my-husbands-neighbor-cooks-for-himam-i-being-paranoid/ |

The belief of Nigerians towards “Spiritual Husband” is a negative one as most believe is a taboo/negative arrow from the spirit world targeted at the progress of an individual Meanwhile, Nigerian pastor, Chris Oyakhilome is of a different opinion and has distorted the belief that some people have spiritual husbands or wives. In a recent teaching, the general overseer of Believer’s Loveworld revealed that the idea of a spiritual spouse is completely false Pastor Chris shared that it is possible for people to encounter spiritual personalities and often times, could be demonic but the notion that they have unknowingly exchange marital vows with such is not possible.... https://livelystones.com.ng/pastor-chris-oyakhilome-said-spiritual-husband/
