bukatyne: This thread brings the question 'why don't men help with house chores?'

P.S.: I am not implying that all men do not help
The men outside the caveat will be in best position to proffer answers......... Let the answers roll in..

It is subjective. True to an extent depending on situations and circumstances.

Phema: On the flip side, don't we all just want that "perfect" spouse? If only God can let us create them.
A person can only get this if he/she is perfect him/herself............

If there is a perfect spouse, I bet you the marriage will be as dull as whatever you can think of. It is the imperfection and working towards perfection that makes the institution of marriage one of the best gifts (if not the best) to humanity. No wonder, Apostle Paul always liking the relationship in marriage to that with us and Christ.

OP,

You can ask your thread to be moved to the romance section. I guess the section will attract more potential candidates.

Goodluck in your ultimate search

Definitive: I'm in need of a beautiful lady for marriage. I'll prefer a hardworking professional with global horizon who can communicate in impeccable English and who is a Roman Catholic or is willing to become one before marriage.

I'm genuine. I'm optimistic that there is a lady out there who shares my orientation.
shocked shocked shocked shocked

I think you should pay a visit to the convent in England, you will get a person with an IMPECCABLE Engrish and Roman Catholic. Or possibly bend your engirish clause and visit the Vatican.....

Goodluck

CC, sorry about the lady's demise. May God grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Cancer is the reigning big killer, deadlier than HIV. I believe very soon, efforts of scientists will be rewarded with a breakthrough in finding its lasting solution.... Enough is enough.

A friend of mine was telling me yesterday of her father's liver cancer and the toil it is taking on the family. The sufferer is not comfortable neither the carer.

It is well with our souls.

MRbrownJAY: unless you are moved by emotional stories, you simply say:" I am sorry, when you were in need the first time, i helped you and you didnt have the courtesy to repay me my kindness......so, i cant borrow you any money as you did not respect our first deal" (in plain and rude English:"fukc off!"
Sure but was only pointing out that some are heartless and will still come again to ask despite not paying the first

spilocydon2000: I found i i have lost the passion for Electrical Engineering. Are you talking out of experience from Australia.I am 33 years and dont think there is still time for trial and error.

I need a good advice because i need to grab a job after graduation.

Thank you.
I am not in Australia but only responded to the limited information you initially provided. I was only considering that you will fit in well to continue with your electrical engineering than starting afresh in a new profession. Since you said you have lost passion for it, you can pursue your dream. Meanwhile, electrical engineering is part of the needed occupation list.

Check the website of the schools you are interested in to see their requirements for nursing. Goodluck.

MRbrownJAY: @Kulyie
one good point about borrowing is that, the person cannot come back and ask for more (unless they have repaid you the loan). so borrowing is a sure way of keeping that person away for good. how can someone who owes you money ask to borrow more?! impossible!
You never jam some extremely stubborn and selfish people. Despite not paying the last one borrowed, they will still have the boldness to ask you for another thinking you will be fooled. Such people usually have heaven-moving emotional stories for the weak hearted.

spilocydon2000: @Jenny and others.I must commend you all for the wonderful work you are doing here.I am an engineer.I studied Electrical/Electronics Engineering in one of our polytechnics here.I later went for mathematics to get my Bachelors degree certificate some years back.I have been working as a quality control engineer in one of the oil servicing company here.

The fact is that i really want to travel and better my life.I have this love for health sector.I will like to move to Aussie to start all afresh in the field of nursing.Starting from certificate iv(preparatory class in nursing) and after the six months program,i will do the diploma in nursing to be enrolled nurse 2 which later i will go straight to Bsc in nursing.

I am married with kids here. Please is there any way to go about it since i don't have any health background. Can one do Diploma in nursing without going for the preparatory class.

Is engineering profession good in Australia because i'm also thinking of going for Advanced diploma in Electrical engineering.Kindly advice me please.Thank you.
If you still have passion for the engineering program, why not continue with it at the Master's level. Engineering sell anywhere in the developed world.

Family › Re: What Can A Man Do In This Situation? by bellong:
OP,

I understand how unattractive fat women are and how frustrating it is when efforts are not being made to work on it. However, you need the right approach to get what you want.

No woman likes it being unattractive, only that very few work on themselves. If you truly desire a change, adopt the fear factor and also play a good role in bringing her back to the sexy baby you married.

You know your wife better, design an effective approach that she can buy accepting your position. Gym may not be realistic for you but you can design simple and affective exercise at home that will even create more bonding between you two. Also, eat healthy and balanced diet. It is well with you.

Meanwhile, there is a way that seems right before a man but the end is destruction. Discard the advice of your friends except you want to tread a regretful and depressing path.

kweku8888: Hi,
Kudos to everyone here doing a great job here, you all are doing a wonderful job I must say.
Due to this thread I tried applying for a PR last year,I studied accounting in school and have 5yrs experience ,though no professional qualification and also 2yrs in sales and marketing.
Applied for the almighty IELTS thinking all wld be fine,my result thus:
Listenin :6.0
Reading:5.0
Writing:7.0
Speaking:6.5
Overall band score: 6.0
And from the information online was told you must have a total band score of 7.0,don't think that wld be possible, when I got the result I was so down and it affected me negatively, don't even know what to do next, buh now wish I cld move on,like moving forward, someone shld kindly help me in the way forward.thanks
A temporary setback shouldn't defeat your dreams. Assess where you made mistakes during the exam, get good materials and rewrite it. You did well in the writing, you can as well transfer the passion in that writing to other sections and you will surely get what you want.

It is well with you

tsmith: i'd like to be a part of this and can make up the os 14500, however I think the bigger issue is having the opportunity to even pay the fees. So are you saying only online payments are allowed? What about students that may not have internet access? I didn't realise Nigeria has gone that techy!

Pls send me the bank details.
Send a PM to Ifyalways, she will give you the bank details.

God bless you

However, the long term use of antibiotics could make the orgnism(bacteriaal fungi or virus) form resistance to the drug nd therby rendering it not effective again on usage,
