Read the beginning statement very well "And in that day..." what does that mean to you? It is continuation of something, the preceding chapter will give you a clearer picture of what it means.

I pray our we do not experience such else, you may not even be alive to witness the fulfillment of the prophecy.....

DO you have enough facts and evidences to call her a lesbian? I may not support her actions and attitudes but nobody is in any position to condemn how someone decides to settle his/her own differences in as much as it is not slander or libel.

Life they say begins at 40, in my opinion it is not late for him to start a family. There is no written law guiding when one should start or not start a family. Important factor he needs is MATURITY (emotional and financial).

Marrying a younger lady is not the problem if the young girl desires to be with him. The issues are, is he matured enough to handle the immaturity that will be displayed by the girl once in a while, is the girl matured enough to understand the institution of marriage. Has he prepared himself well enough to raise a good family, etc..

In all, age is only a guide helping us to keep tab of our achievements and fulfillment as the case may be. It is well with him

All is well, these days have been very busy with too many deadlines to beat... I have a free time today

If my wife slaps me, what will I do?

I can't give an emphatic answer to what I may or will do if that happens because my actions are unpredictable but well thought out so as not to regret it. However, These are some of the actions I may take to prevent future occurrence.

1. Walk away from the scene and will take a stroll for about 2-3 hours till when the atmosphere is calm. Come back, sit her down and read her riot act never to repeat it again or face the sweet music that will follow.

2. Leave the house immediately for two days. She wouldn't trace where I leave for and nobody will know where I am. When I return, I know she will start the apology process.

3. Go to the sitting room, change channels to a comedy station to watch hilarious comedy till I am ready to sleep without saying a word.

These are few of what I am likely to do in such situation. Will never utter a word at that point.

Meanwhile, my wife can never slap me because I didn't marry a child who doesn't know to manage her anger issues...

Your late husband has family and I believe that children do not only belong to the couple but also to the two families. That being said, I think you need not change the surname to preserve their father's heritage and also give the children their own parental identity. It doesn't mean that the new husband wouldn't act right towards them.

Except you never liked their father and looking for a way to erase his memory, you can change the name.
