Billionaire businessman and entrepreneur Mr Leo Anuforo has been killed by gunmen in Imo state, IgbereTV reports.

First hand information revealed by our source said Mr. Anuforo’s convoy as he was traveling on Monday in Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State.

Billionaire Anuforo who is also a Community Leader and Managing Director/CEO of Lorag Consortium died instantly from a bullet shot through his chest at close range during the attack on his convoy.

An eye witness who pleaded anonymity said over 10 persons were killed during the attack including 3 police officers attached to Mr. Anuforo and others persons some of them caught up in the rain of bullets, suggestive of a hit assassination job.

Meanwhile another convoy on seeing the chaos at the scene helped the wounded and some of the dead to a nearby hospital where they were confirmed dead.

His community, Okohia-Isiekenes in Ideato South LGA have been thrown in to mourning as the police in the state says it’s investigating the case.

Deborah Okezie, mother of Don Davis Archibong, the JSS 1 student of the Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom, who was allegedly assaulted by the staff and students of the school, says her Facebook account has been disabled, IgbereTV reports.

Okezie, who had always utilized the Facebook page to demand justice for her son, alleged that some members of the Deeper Life High school went to her last child's nursery school to inquire about her home address.

In a video shared today on another page she uses, Mrs Okezie said she will hold the senior pastor of the church, Williams Kumuyi and the school management responsible should anything happen to her children.

''Deeper Lift High School people went to my little baby's shool to make enquiry about my address. The reason I don't know. You want to disable my facebook and come and kill me inward? People should not know what happened to me? If you get a hold of this video, share it. If you disable this one, I will come out of another angle and I will keep coming out until Don Davis gets justice since I don't have anybody to speak for me. Foreign countries come and speak for me. They are disabling my account.

Why are they going to my baby's school to ask about my address. A whole church. What for?

If anything happens to my children, Deeper Life and Kumuyi, I will hold you responsible''

The thing is, she never had any child of her own, but her kindness to these children was phenomenal, and for these “children” to visit her unexpectedly after many years, in remembrance of her act of kindness, it was a great deal to her.

She entertained us with groundnuts.

When we were about to leave, everyone put funds together and gave to Daada for Christmas, and Daada told us to come together, went in to bring get her Bible, and started praying for everyone.

She went on to tell us to write our prayer points individually in her Bible.

It was an awesome experience for me, as I left there feeling so blessed.

She prayed for us from her heart.

Angry mob on Monday, set ablaze a suspected kidnapper in Ibadan, Oyo State for allegedly attempting to abduct a child, IgbereTV reports.

The incident happened at Mufu Lanihun area of Oke-Ado around 9:00 on Monday morning, December 28. Two other persons suspected to be his accomplice managed to escape with injuries.

According to an eyewitness, the suspects allegedly attempted to abduct a 4-year-old boy in the community. However, some residents in the area raised the alarm after suspecting their movement.

“It happened around 9:00 am today, the kidnappers were seen roaming the street with a doll at their back, before a resident who identified the child raised the alarm while they were trying to take away the boy." the witness said.

The suspects tried to flee the scene but only two made it out. The other one was caught around Awolowo Way and beaten to pulp before he was burnt to death by the irate mob.

A sum of N250,000 was said to have been recovered from the suspect before he was beaten and set ablaze.

Philanthropist and Traditional Prime of Awa Community, Orumba North LGA of Anambra State, Chief Isreal Ezue has begun the sharing of Christmas palliatives to over two thousand residents of the town, IgbereTV reports.

The gesture, which has become an annual activity, is for both for indigenes and non-indigenes living in the community.

Items shared to the people include bags of rice, meat and rolls of wrappers.

Chief Ezue, a notable businessman, also runs an annual empowerment programme for youths of Awa Community.

Delta Community Conducts Traditional Cleansing, Curses Cultists, Ritualists And Other Criminals (Photos)

The taditional ruler of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Monday Obukowho Whiskey, have laid curse on criminals including cultists who are responsible for the killings in the community, IgbereTV reports.

The traditional cleansing ceremony performed on Friday, December 18, was as a result of the rising cases of cult-related killings alongside cases of internet fraud, kidnappings among other crimes in the community.

It was gathered that more than 5 persons have died from cult-related issues since last month with some of their bodies brutally mutilated.

Native doctors from 42 communities of Idjerhe Kingdom gathered in Jesse, the traditional headquarters of Idjerhe on Friday, where they offered traditional prayers using duck, a puppy, and a cock while they pour libation against the development.

During the ceremony, the traditional ruler and members of the community lamented the growing cases of death as a result of cultism and internet fraud, asking the gods of the land to visit perpetrators of heinous crimes in the kingdom with calamity.

They publicly warned indigenes who partake in the crime-related activities to immediately repent or strange illness will befall them.
