It's simply Banter. If you don't get that then you have a lot of history to revise. Nobody denies his greatness. In fact, the argument here has always been about the GOAT, I am not sure what you mean by "like he's so overrated". Read and learn man.
nairamaniac:
U took this post out my mind.
I just tire for roland17 and the rest always referring to him as Lebum or Lefraud.

Very childish and disrespectful.
There is no player that doesn't have badnights atimes, even jordan and kobe had bad night and bad quarters.

The man they call lebum and lefraud has been at worst AMONGS THE BEST 3 PLAYERS FOR EACH OF THE LAST 12 SEASONS.

EVEN PLAYED BETTER THAN THE FINALS MVP'S IN THE OPPOSING TEAM in those FINALS HE LOST.

The are calling him Lebum and Lefraud like he is soooo overated.

It's really silly.

We have seen Weirder games. The Bucks may just get both games at home. grin
Roland17:
Cancun may come earlier than anticipated.

Can you see how Giannis is losing the ball all over the place?
Roland17:
This is not even about Giannis limitations because Giannis is not even being good at what he is known for. I don't see how coach Budenholzer survives if the Bucks lose this series..
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:48am On Jun 08, 2021
Yes, you can share the ball when the other's offense stagnates. cheesy. The Bucks are not offering much offensively. Thank's to Giannis' limitations. He makes Griffin look like a star. grin
Roland17:
The Nets are disappointing a lot of their critics because they are playing opposite of what most people predicted. They are sharing the ball, moving the ball side to side for the better shot and most importantly, these guys are moving their feet and playing spectacular defense. When they go ISO, they go to the hot hand and defer to KD when they desperately need buckets.

The Bucks can not afford to go down 2-0..It is a huge risk to take against such an offensive team like the Nets.

I would like to see how this team does against Curry and Klay running around.
Romance › Re: Should I Follow My Mother's Advice? by benji93: 11:18pm On Jun 07, 2021
Why that may be so, experience they say is the best teacher. She looks back and realized her choice wasn't wrong, even though she could have acted differently granted she had options. One thing is for sure from the bolded, you still have a lot to learn in life. For some of the things you do in life, you may never live to realize it was the right choice, for some you only find out how appropriate that choice in your old age, which means that for these things only a lifetime of experience can judge if they were right or not. You then pass your experience to the younger ones. Besides when an elderly person tells you something you may need to interprete it using today's concept. For example some of the occupations that guarantee you a comfortable life sometime in the past may guarantee a penurious life today, and so on and so forth.
Tony142:
By the time your mother get to old age and u are unable to take good care of her, and she ask u, why are u not sending me money, tell her that the poor man she ask u to marry have not even being able to take care of you not to talk of you having money to send her cheesy

Your mother says that if u want to have peace of mind u should marry a struggling man, that means she is indirectly saying that All poor men gives women peace of mind, while All rich men treat women like trash? That is a wrong generalization

So, never see poor man when dey beat woman abi? There is one poor man close to my house na almost everyday he dey beat his wife, so saying all struggling men give their wife peace of mind is not true

Seeing a rich man to marry is hard, but If u see a rich man that respect you for who you are, marry him

rich guys are few, the probability of u marry a rich guy is very slim, but if u did not see a rich guy u can still marry a man that is comfortable, even if he is not rich atleast he can take good care of a family and support him to grow

Before I go, let me let you know this

The reason your mother marry your father is not because of love, but because she have no other options, if your mother was able to see a rich man to marry when she was dating your father, trust me she for dump your father for the rich man lipsrsealed
Politics › Re: Britain Warns Twitter & Facebook To Regulate Their Sites Content by benji93: 8:36pm On Jun 06, 2021
What you need to do is learn not write, write, write. Nobody is following Nigeria's lead. Those countries are clearly proposing regulation of social media, which a lot of people agree with. Perhaps for you, because twitter is the subject, these countries can only be taking the same measures.
UpNigeria7:
Twitter Ban - Britain Follows Nigeria's Lead and Warns Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube To Regulate Their Sites Content

Nigeria Bans Twitter on Friday 4th June 2021, India writes letter to warn twitter to obey Indian laws on Sat 5th June, British Government writes to Twitter, Facebook and TikTok on Sat 5th June to regulate the content posted on their sites and from now on, the British National Crime Agency (NCA) will now work with tech companies to swiftly identify and remove dangerous content from their platforms (the same thing the Indian Govt is proposing to Twitter and all tech companies that want to keep operating in India)

The Indian Govt plans which some social media companies have already started implementing will mean twitter and co will be bound by law to identify the first person than creates a post on Twitter so that offensive and potentially dangerous posts can be traced back to the initial originator unlike now where inflammatory and potentially dangerous posts to national security is posted without any repercussions.

For once Nigeria led and the worlds largest democracy followed suit THE NEXT DAY and the father of all parliaments also followed suit THE NEXT DAY. Nigeria will rise again regardless of what its enemies are planning. God pass them and their sinister plans.

In the same British article below, a subsidiary of Facebook made £222 billion last year paid Zero corporation tax because the company is incorporated in Bermuda - a well known tax dodging haven used by criminals to hide their illicit wealth. but this is changing as the G7 meeting in the UK last week resolved to tax the Tech giants including Twitter and Facebook etc a minimum of 15% corporation tax and this will be adopted globally by all countries in the world and as long as you make a profit margin of 10% in a country you will have to pay 15% corporation tax on your profits to that country unlike before where you can hide behind off shore domicile in a Tax haven.

So Twitters Jack and his tax dodging billions can now have something to think about including paying their fair share of taxes to society and maybe Jack's billionaire induced arrogance and veiled imperialist tendencies will now simmer down as one of their own - Britain - has followed Nigeria's lead in clipping their arrogant, tax dodging and "unaccountable" wings / feathers and by the time Britain and other leading world powers finish with plucking Twitters feathers, he will no longer "unfairly" ridicule the President of the largest black nation on earth .

Yes average from 3. You can verify that.

Trae is quite what?

The Hawk's better win this game. You cannot be hot from 3 and lose.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 7:39pm On Jun 06, 2021
Trae is quite average from 3.
etidy:
Omo Trae young is cooking cheesy
Steph curry changed this league, you can't tell me nothing.
We are seeing his legacy already been passed down to long range snipers like Trae young
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:01am On Jun 06, 2021
It looks like this is going to be a long series. cheesy
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 8:34am On Jun 04, 2021
Nice try. grin. All I know is as it was recently proven that one of last season finalists na scam, it's very possible the championship na scam too. grin. Ofcourse who deserves some rest if not the man that got to nine straight finals. You forgot to include that. grin.

steady986:
It was always going to be a tall order for LeBron to overcome the second best team in the league. A 36 year old man in his 18th season who is still nursing an ankle injury, without his sidekick and playing with bums who can't shoot. LeBron will be free of all slander. Anyone who wants to slander obviously just wants to troll smiley And trolling is part of the game so go ahead grin

At least my guy didn't lose in the finals, because it seems losing in the finals is more detrimental to a legacy than losing in the first round wink So legacy secured. Off we go to Cancun. After having the shortest postseason of any
team in history last year, we can now have what looks like a very long postseason this year.

Meanwhile, make I go through last years championship photos to keep me busy. Our time never elapse yet, we still be the champions grin

P S. No need to reply me o, I'm going off until the last game of the finals. See ya cool
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 3:49am On Jun 04, 2021
Nobody will mention him.How can you do that without mentioning that he was terrible today?Anyway, we are still basking in the glory of the Clutch King. grin. The focus now is Jokic is the MVP and he was the best player in this series. grin. Lillard is not to blame, he came up against the MVP. grin. How can his Eminence do any wrong?
birdman:
Worst thing that can happen to a healthy player is to have everyone love you. No criticism, no growth. I hooe lillard takes a lot of heat for this loss
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 3:34am On Jun 04, 2021
Well, you cannot always be clutch. Dame should have saved all his clutch shots for today, honestly. cheesy. The Nuggets applied the double team today. His teammates played ok today, but well, the previous game probably took everything out of him. Of course today is not the day for Mr Cutch. grin
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93:
That's why he will probably never leave the Blazers, so people will keep saying he's underrated. Smart strategy if you ask me. grin
etidy:
Big props to Lillard he's been exceptional for the Blazers but all the wanking to yesterday's performance is annoying.

He's the least scrutinized star in the NBA.

Harden could have a similar stat line like yesterday and still be undermined by the press angry

Maxey is a good chap. Explosive and confident.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:10pm On Jun 02, 2021
Ofcourse nobody wants to acknowledge the fact that the Lakers are terrible without AD. cheesy. They will ignore any narrative that hurts Lebron's contribution.
Roland17:
Hahaaaaa... Loud am eh! Baba say him get shoulders to carry the Lakers.. You no see as everywhere don quiet since game 4 loss after AD went down? E choooooke!

Imagine the Lakers won game 4 and last night’s game 5 without AD? Choooooiiiiii! The narratives no go be here..
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:08pm On Jun 02, 2021
Common main. Stop trying so hard. grin
birdman:
To me, that was Lebron trying to set tone for the next game. Those 3rd q 3s were useless points, but it gives the team confidence to see that
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 5:07pm On Jun 02, 2021
All i saw was that Lebron has a tendency to want to statpad. grin. Just an observation.
birdman:
That was shameful to watch. Lebron did not play well, but he held his own. The other starters need to be flogged. Also Lakers need to dump fake players like Wes Matthews. That guy blew so many defensive assignments.

I understand playing for pride, but Lebron need to take care of his body. 17 years, back-to-back-to-back finals for a decade. There are kids with half the mileage that will miss a week if their pinky finger hurts. AD needs to be forced to step up so Lebron can rest.

Its like watching popsy pushing the car and the teenage son sitting in the car. Tufia! angry
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 5:31am On Jun 02, 2021
But why were the Nuggets giving Dame single coverage? cheesy. If na Curry now, na double/triple team.

For once Porter made a good defensive play.

It's supposed to be, but well when your shoulder is already banged up, any amount of nudge will do. I sincerely hope Chris Paul is not acting though.

I was being tongue in cheek knowing he would rather be right than accept his favourite player caught that L without AD.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:21am On May 31, 2021
You obviously didn't get my point.
Android17:
He predicted Lakers in 7 as well so he is still on point with his predictions.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 12:43am On May 31, 2021
You better shut up. grin. I was hoping you won't mention that bullshit. Haven't the Suns been missing a healthy CP3 for most of this series?
steady986:
Norman normal.

But I don't think we lost this game because of AD's absence. Although him going down put a dent on their spirit. There's always this despondence that comes when one of your best players gets injured in a game. By the time they realised they were actually not that bad without AD it was already too late.

We'll start game 5 without him and I believe we'll be better prepared.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 12:41am On May 31, 2021
Are you sure that's not exactly what you need? grin. Maybe he going all "i am the man" is what you need to win this series. cheesy grin.
