I almost talk say you don start again , until I go watch the highlights. The ball got stuck between his legs at a point. I come dey think say na now him dey learn to ball ni? Abi him leg comot for boot ni? . It was weird. If it happened from a miscued pass, fine, but he pushed the ball, then that happened, as if he forgot he had the ball. . Quite embarrassing. Besides he had a chance in the 18-yard box, at least hit the ball make them block am or make keeper parry am. Na straight to Iyana Ipaja. . Maybe na just today, cos he was ok in the previous game. ChrisKels: I have been one of the super defenders of Nacho in here, but honestly, stats can be deceptive. Nacho doesn't really offer nothing but the goals, can't control the ball, poor first touch, loses possession more often than not, when he is given a pass, the ball will always find a way to get stock in between his legs, as he struggles to sort out which leg to use, boom...he is dispossessed already, he can't beat his marker, even to give accurate pass, na war, always marking his opponents from behind to give needless fouls. Whenever he gets a pass, there is always a 90% chance he is gonna mess it up by turning it over to the opponents

Man, enter who him head? I no be Chelsea fan. The guy whose comment my post was a reply to argued that Lampard cannot be blamed for this loss, citing that the team he's had for most of the season isn't. And he mentioned that Man U has Pogba e.t.c and is struggling to break into the top 4. My point was that some of these good players he claims Man U has were injured for an extended period of time. And even in that case, Ole was getting most of the blame for the mediocre results. Meanwhile, what do you mean by na youth Chelsea play this season? Na only them? Which team is more youthful Man U or Chelsea? So Lampard does deserve some blame. The team was terrible. The problem was bringing Man U into the conversation without getting his facts right. Man, Greenwood is a striker. Ole favours Martial as a striker and I quite understand why. His hold up play is really good. More like a false 9. The frontline for Man U are interchangeable for the most part, and you may have realized that they have been interchanging their positions for a while now. Rashford switches with Greenwood, Martial drops back to contribute to a build-up. Greenwood, although is the right-winger on paper plays very close to the box. In fact you could say Man Utd has been switching between 1 left wing, 2 strikers and 1 left wing, 1 striker, 1 right-wing. Greenwood is playing on the wings because regardless of whether he is a natural winger or not, it's worked just fine so far, and he's been scoring recently too. Clinical!. We better not get carried away though, we'll have to see what happens. I personally don't think he can play point 9 though, at least not now. He's quite small. He'll get manhandled unless he drifts wide occasionally. andrewbaba44: I don already tell you wetin I wan tell you so you can pick your choice
The last time I checked greenwood Dey play as a winger so na only you know wetin you Dey yarn

Shut up man. . No make i vex at all. How many matches has Pogba featured in this season? You people go talk say Man U get better team, but these players have been rolling in and out of the squad for a significant number of games, until recently. Rashford for almost 2 months and Pogba for more than half of the season. The motivation of players is part of the duty of a coach. When you are a goal down, a coach has to find a way to get his guys to get back in the game. You people dey talk like Chelsea has had a terrible team all season. Lampard was outclassed. You don't need an equation. What you need is an understanding of probability. In probability, projection is usually to the goal. You could call it an extrapolation. If in a sample of 100000 people there are 100 left-handed people, it's only reasonable to extrapolate that to a sample of 1000000, in which case you would expect 1000 left-handed people. In fact, if you take several samples of 10000000 people, the higher the number of samples the more your average approaches 1000. It doesn't mean in reality you will get 1000 the first time, or that you will get 1000 if you do the sampling 1000 times. Probability in itself is a tool that should help you make reasonable predictions, especially when you are trying to understand what's gonna happen if you are not a prophet. . Saying specifically that, there's no probability equation anywhere that says if you play more you will score more is the stance people take when they want other people to think they know a lot, when in fact that statement is not useful. So while you are all over the place accusing people of showing favoritism, prejudice, perhaps you could look inward. Maybe you are being prejudiced yourself in your submission on Kelechi. Please if you don't know much about a subject, especially as applied to something, it's better not to talk about it. Don't bring it up. You can definitely have your opinion on why Kelechi won't do well if given more time, but in a gathering of people, personal opinions are not a good base for any argument. We can never agree on anything cos our premises are different. So their opinion that Kelechi will do better when given more time is definitely reasonable. You are being disingenuous if you think otherwise. I would think that in arguments regarding statistics and projections, accepted logic should be prioritized as a basis for making statements over sentiments. You can definitely come up with something more concrete on why you think Kelechi will not do well. But going hard against a useful tool-probability- is a very bad idea. komekn: That's not what l said that's what you perceived and what you want to believe, because it's suits your prejudiced notion and favoritism towards KC.
To remind you, the substance of my proposition is very simple. I repeat, " there is no mathematical probability equation that says if you play more you will score more.
But what you want to do is create a theory for KC alone. Which is if KC plays more he will score more because he is KC.
That's not just favoritism but being delusional. |

US/Canada is a lot higher? When considering migrating to a different country, you better not just think about the salary. The cost of living and growth are other factors you may want to consider. Besides this moment what Nigeria needs are innovators, people that can start something up, especially in Tech. If your friend is quite good and he's got a creative independent mind, maybe he should consider starting something up. Nigeria is a market waiting to explode. I hope Nigerians can realize this and get to work before these foreigners take over everything, and leave us with very little to call our own. gimakon: A quick question I want to ask and know hearts of peeps.
I have a badass programmer pal. Full stack engineer. Recently did a job for someone, and made some real good cash. Like up to $120,000. The money came from building software for 3 microfinance banks in the country. He earns over 450,000 Naira as salary here in Nigeria as well. We got talking yesterday and he's telling me he cannot stay in Nigeria, that he's resigning immediately after lock down for airports are over.
His argument is 450,000 Nigerian Naira equals 1,162.97 United States Dollar, wheras in the US / Canada for instance, the salary is way higher.
Question is what do you think ? |

The point no be say you no fit get players from there. You fit, but na very high-risk players. There's a high chance that bringing in a player supposedly doing well in the "backwater leagues" will fail in the premier league, especially cos some of the players you could get of that amount are still budding. So quite understand why they would turn to the championship or other premier league players, cos, for the most part, these guys are used to the premier league or to something of a similar level of difficulty/rigority. So as a recruiter you gotta make a choice. Do you want to take the risk? Or do you want someone that has a higher probability of fitting right in. Now there's the problem that the players you get from the championship/Premier league are below average anyway, why would their former teams not renew their contract unless they are from the championship or you are offering a better salary. Besides some EPL teams still have decent academies. andrewbaba44: The players they buy from Belgium and co Go kuku carry them go relegation

I beg stop that scouting issue jo. You go into the market to get a good player worth 15/20 million, in this age. It's very unlikely that a player worth around that amount is even above average. Besides, you are assuming the Serbian league is a breeding ground for good players. Some of the players may be good, but then those are worth a lot more. You know see how much Ajax they sell their players, even those that are not quite at the top. And ofcourse you fit go buy player for the "back water league" if you dey compete for the Portuguese league. andrewbaba44: Hahaha

That happens sometimes, even to a team doing well. Complacency of some sort. Although they kind of came alive in the last 10 minutes or so, with the short passes and movement that led to Bruno's header that went wide. We do need that depth though, especially to put some of these players on their toes. Ofcourse English players are usually overhyped. . We do need that back up creative midfielder though. kstyle2: Pogba and Bruno have been sloppy with their passes. KC simple after three seasons of impotency last season 30 games and 1 goal. He has done nothing to justify more game time.
And now he is getting games and he has done a lot better than last season. But his so called improvement is simply not good enough.
You think that is biased, plane facts have become bias.
Benteke moved to Crystal Palace for £27 million. Liverpool sold him knowing he was off the boil.

Man it's not conclusive that it was actually an act of patriotism. He didn't get a call up from England. Perhaps he assumed that given the talent influx into the English team, it would be hard to break into the team. Hence choosing Nigeria was kind of a foregone conclusion. It would be easier to call it patriotism if he got call-ups from both teams and he chose Nigeria. Although we could say Okocha had some influence on his decision. sheyishemba: Actually it not about mentorship of okocha it because of his patriotism he wanted to play for naija and he did let's not forget a full grown Nigeria that still snub Nigeria for Togo it not about mentorship it about where the heart lies thats it |
