Lagos state origins are from Benin. What does that even mean? The last i checked the Aworis, Ijebus were the original indigenes of Lagos. komekn: You miss the point.
I have watched Yoruba leaders in the APC demanding Yoruba leaders in Lagos not neccesarily Lagos indegenous people. That's the wrong attitude it is the same with all tribes in Nigeria, that is the prevalent attitude. It's not unique to the Yorubas.
Indeed unlike any other state Lagos is far ahead in terms of its cosmopolitan nature. But it's still not far enough.
With regards to Lagos State, it's origin are from Benin indeed the Oba of Lagos has allegiance to the Oba of Benin where his staff of office emanates.
So the actual historical true indegenous people will be a very small % of the total population of Lagos today.
It's the same prevalent attitude that will play out, if l attempted to try and contest election in Warri some will argue I am not an indigene of Warri.
What's perverse, it's much easier for me to contest an election in the UK as an MP and win than state assembly in my own Delta state. |

I agree, in retrospect it was. But nobody refuses a contract that pays a wage of over 100000 pounds per week, especially if you were making less than 10000 Euros per week. If a player refuses such an offer, his village people must be holding his balls. . It's an easy decision. It may turn out bad though. Personally, if he wants to play in England, it has to be any of the top 6/7 teams. The top 6 teams have strikers better than he's currently. As we have come to understand, a good number of the players coming from the farmer's league with good starts are usually average at best in the Premier League. May be moving to a league 2/3 steps ahead may be a bad idea, especially if your performance has only been good, not extraordinary, well unless of course, they'll be paying you a lot more money. . Some of these offers are quite tempting though, in the moment the players may refuse tho consider the possibility that there's a good chance they fail in the long run, although they may get their money for a few years. It's a complicated situation, honestly humility33: Lol...it was a bad move na because they later relegated him to the feeders team in China and it was done so becauss he was misfiring and the need to accommodate another foreign player made them push him down the pecking order |

Man you sure say your village people no dey sit on top your head. . You mean a move to China in which he was earning over 100000 pounds monthly was a bad move. You think those players are playing for their undiluted love of Football? . Besides these things are not straight forward. Bad moves happen all the time. humility33: all because he is waiting for epl offer...
this boys will never learn..
go where you'll be celebrated and offer playtime with less pressure he wanna play for England and does not mind being a bench warmer
same foolish move made Success ran to EPL and where is he today?
ideye was doing quite well in Ukraine not until he went to England thank God he rejuvenate himself by later moving to Greece and then made another bad move to China
well playing in Lille for another season gonna reduce his market value and hype round him this is the best time for him to make this move and launch his career |

Personally i would rather have a South-African company than a Chinese company despite the animosity between our people. But we have 30% of Startime, so if the quality is not too different, the government could try to push it into the market. But not until we are worth 50% of the shares. If our governments are serious, no foreign company should be allowed into our market unless a Nigerian or group of Nigerians has at least 50% of the shares. But we may need to have locals dealing in the same stuffs, this is seldom the case. Our matter hard. austinauto: NTA has 30% share, while the Chinese has 70% share and run by the chinese. Middle East Technical University, Ankara is a government institution offering all its programs in English. It's widely known for its rigorous curriculum across most of the Engineering and Natural Science programs. In simple language, it's hard to graduate, especially for the Engineering programs. It's normal for students to extend their studies beyond 8 semesters. Given that it's a government institution its tuition fees are really low for its quality of education. Admission is quite competitive, they currently still accept WASSCE. You need a very high aggregate, at least above 12 for a combination of 5 courses including three courses related to your selected programs, although the list of academic requirements by country says an aggregate of 15for 5 subjects. Getting this grade doesn't mean you will get it though, as there's a quote system. Given the rigority of the curriculum, I strongly advise you to ensure that you get to have at least a B2 in 3 of Physics, Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry for Engineering for example. If your WASSCE is not as good, it would be difficult for you to withstand the rigor. It's not impossible though, you'll just have a higher mountain to climb. Meanwhile, the Engineering programs have varying degrees of prestige and competitiveness, but they are all competitive, especially given that all Engineering programs offer similar courses in the first two years especially the first. This is what have to say for now. i'll provide more details depending on your next comment. Attached is a pdf detailing the requirements for some countries, including Nigeria. https://iso.metu.edu.tr/en/system/files/odtu_iso_requirements.pdf Mahmuday123: Hello I want to know about METU Ankara the documents needed for undergraduate and their accommodation fee |

In my opinion, quality is more important than cost. The appropriateness of different degrees of the combination of quality and tuition fee depends on the grades you are applying with. So if you are applying with your WASCCE result, how good was it? Why are you changing your goal post man. . Oh now he doesn't quite have a hollow cheek, but it's gotten more chiseled. His face muscles are not even relaxed. Besides his face has always been like that, even in his Schalke days. TheGoodJoe: Shane's cheeks are not as hollow as Foden but with time he has gotten more chiselled. You can tell from his face currently.

Now you bring up a picture of a player's chest region, which quite a deviation from the original argument. Sane's cheek is not even quite hollow. Go back and look at the picture of Foden again, can you see how hollow that looks? In fact, the kind of weight lifting Foden was doing there has no bearing on how his Cheek and Jawline looks. You can definitely make the argument that Foden has a very high level of fitness cos of so, so and so routines he does, but to ascribe a high level of fitness to Jawline and hollow cheekbone is not quite convincing I am afraid TheGoodJoe: To you, you see naturally slim. I see young men working hard to stay trim and conditioned. Something a lot of our young players lose with time. |
Romance › Re: Should A Lady Marry A Man With No Job? by benji93: 12:17am On Jul 03, 2020 |
Generally, when it comes to making money women and men are not at the same level, not for lack of ability, but lack of opportunities. You should understand them when they prefer men with some financial security. Men have more opportunities available to them. Some of the women owe their successes to their beauty and shape, once someone with better shape comes into the picture they may fall down the pecking order. Their access to financial wealth is not as secure or open as that of men. Besides for most relationships where the woman is joyful and the man is jobless, men usually become insecure. There's no way a jobless man will not think the lady is taking it somewhere. . Some may say, there are marriages in which the ladies are far more successful than the mean. True, but how many can you find in a given sample. And personally I would not advise a woman to marry a jobless man. she can try a relationship with a Jobless man, but marriage, emphatic No. Toks2008: Well, the simple answer anybody will give is a resounding NO....but should a man marry a lady who has no job?... I guess that is a norm but wait for this...what if a lady marries a man with a job and then the man losses the job afterward?...will she leave him?.... Now you thinking...
Don't get it twisted...it makes no sense for any man to go into marriage without a job or a means of livelihood especially when a man’s potential is harder to see than the number of commas on his bank statement forgetting the fact that wealth acquisition is progressive, a continuum aided by hard work and determination...
I strongly believe that the reason why there is so much emphasis on a man's financial status as a criterion for marital suitability is because of the financial dependence mindset of many ladies on their men. In my opinion, when it comes to making money, there is no weaker sex hence I see nothing wrong with a lady who has a job or means of livelihood getting married to her man even if he has no job at that point in time...Job will always come and there is no guaranty that the one who has a job won't lose it.
A lady who finds it cool dating a man that has no job and happily performs wifely duties for him should not have issues with marrying the same man? Simply have a low key wedding and work hard together with him to build finances before making babies rather than allow yourself to be used as an intimacy gadget by the ''jobless guy''.
Ladies have equal opportunity to be financially independent just as the men and every lady must strive to be financially independent so that she can be with any man of her choice rather than marry a man simply because he is financially capable and also avoid using a job which can be there today and be gone tomorrow or financial status which is subject to change as a yardstick to being with any man. |

You didn't get it. Foden is not a good example. The guy looks naturally slender. If you are naturally that slender, you don't need an intense fitness routine to keep a hollow cheek and tight Jawline. C Ronaldo doesn't quite have a hollow cheek but there are very few players observing fitness routines more intense than him if there are any. And besides, the attached picture is not quite useful as well. I suppose those guys are models, we do not know if intense fitness routines are the reason their faces have such a structure. Your diet can create such a structure too. Some genetically have both. For some, it can be a combination of these. TheGoodJoe: Not just the structure but the hollow on the face. Yes there are lots of guys with high fitness and chubby cheeks. However, I do not believe those guys are at their optimum fitness.
I see how a tight jawline and hollow cheeks as a high sign of this. |

Reasonable submission, but I don't quite agree with your cheek argument if you are referring to the structure of his cheekbone, cos that's not always a direct consequence of fitness. By this I mean some are quite fit and don't have the protruding cheekbone. If you mean something else by that, then my assessment may not quite apply. TheGoodJoe: If A player is not highly technically gifted, he can be pardoned. If he is not highly tactically gifted, he can be pardoned. However, lack of intense workout to maintain optimum fitness is inexcusable.
Foden's level of fitness can be seen in his jawline and cheeks. The young man is working hard to make the cut.
I hope our players take their fitness seriously. |

Unusual because it's not normal.I thought that was what the word meant. Perhaps it means something different. . Kids do have growth spurts. the point is on average only a small fraction of a sample of kids undergo such transformation. My estimation of his age from the first picture was wrong, and it was based on a general eye test, which is usually approximately correct . I can't believe i am using this phrase again. I have misjudged a couple of other players the same way, Lukaku inclusive. . Perhaps for such players, you can only be sure they were not lying in retrospect, especially when they reach a height of above 6.2 feet. Danielnino00: What's unusual about it?

The transformation of Ugochukwu within 3 years, similar to Lukaku is unusual, although I agree it happens. safarigirl: He doesn't look older than that boy, he's just taller.
