Politics › Re: God Hasn't Spoken On Nigeria’s Next President - Adeboye by bentenny(m): 1:38am On Jan 08, 2023
Pa Adeboye is at crossroads with his decision!
He can easily choose Peter Obi being from the south but most importantly,a Christian... However, he might face the same backlash that greeted Obasajo's nuclear mass destruction new year letter from some of the emilokan elites!
He can as well endorse Tinubu due to their relationship that has spanned through years...but Pa adeboye's endorsement of tinubu would instantly be spark a nationwide condemnation among Christians who might accuse him of prioritizing tinubu over his faith!
This is because of the Muslim Muslim ticket....
Either way,he is between a rock and a hard place!

But whenever I remember that Islamic terrorists like Shettima, El-Rufai and Ganduje will play key roles in his government, I drop whatever I'm doing and go on my knees and start prayers to Almighty God immediately!

I'd rather be a wise coward than a brave idiot.
There is no such thing as a wise coward!
There is also no ounce of wisdom in being a coward!
A coward will forever remain a coward and by extension a willing slave to their oppressors/masters even in his own house!
Great nations like the US would never have been birthed had they hid in their shell expecting their oppressors to one day offer them freedom on a platter!

Tinubu can do anything in Lagos, but when it comes to the presidency,he is limited.buhari can destroy Tinubu and bring him down if he so wishes.jagaban is smart enough to know when to open fire and when to mellow down.and besides I have worked with these army generals and I know how stubborn and tough they can be.
You have just alluded to my earlier stance that tinubu cannot criticize buhari because it will truncate his presidential aspirations...hence,he doesn't want to offend his northern masters which also includes buhari!
Simple!
No need for the prevarication!

Buhari is a retired general, they are known to be very stubborn and oppiniunated, considering the fact that he is the president and commander in chief,he has the power over the party.tinubu is wise enough to know that disagreeing with him excessively will tantamount to putting himself in harm's way.so he just piped down and waited for his time, because he is so confident that he is the next president.the man is way smarter than you think.
This is beyond hilarious grin
So are you saying or implying that a whole jagaban is now afraid of the same stubborn man he singlehandedly put as president but was bold enough to speak against ambode and removed the governor when the governor refused to do what he was told by the Almighty tinubu? cheesy
If you say his silence is because he wants to appease his northern masters because of his presidential aspirations, I would have understood not this fruitless and hapless excuses!
In fact, the same tinubu had recently praised buhari for doing well in the 'economy' and 'security' of the country!
He even went further to say he will continue from where buhari stoppedcheesy

Tinubu and Buhari are too different people, yes Tinubu championed the campaign that brought in Buhari, the buck of implementation of all the promises stops at Buhari's table, there is nothing Tinubu can do about it.
If as a leader of a party, you see a president you made not abiding to his campaign promises which you also made known to the public during the campaign rally, its your duty first as a Nigerian not to call on the attention of the President about his failed promises?

If there is one thing you will never take away from APC chieftain Bisi akande, its the fact that he will call you out even if both of you are in the same party unlike tinubu who would say nothing simply because he wants to be in the good books of his northern allies even if his own brother is dying!

Did he mention obi so you know obi rallies are worthless
Unless you were born yesterday or you slept under the rock or maybe you are just new on social media esp twitter, you would not be making such inquiry!
Everything Obi does annoys him!
Even if Obi sleeps,Deji complain that he sleeps too much!
Deji is no different from the usual FFK or Bwala who go where their bread is buttered!

As for your last statement,if at this stage you still living with this outdated mindset that the amount of people who show up at a party's campaign venue determines a candidate's popularity or the number of people that might likely vote that party, they you are either a novice in the political sphere or have zero history about an average election in Nigeria!

Let me give you some brief stats.
In 2015,APC presidential campaign rally at a stadium in rivers state was filled to the brim to a point that it took hours for the presidential candidate to reach the podium, but when the results came out,APC could only muster a poor 67k votes...
Similarly,PDP presidential campaign rally at kano 2015 venue was also filled to the brim but when the results came out,PDP go only 207k
Bottom line is never use the magnitude of people you see at the venue to determine the amount of people that will vote for a candidate!

Good day nairaland. Pls I need answer to my question.

I registered for my PVC in 2018 in Abia state and collected it that same year.

I later left Abia state to Lagos.

I did online transfer of polling units from Abia state to Lagos last year. And it was successful.

But I didn't go to any local government to do any biometric capturing.

My problem now, am back in Abia state and I believed I will stay here till June. I want to really participate on this year election.

I want to know if the online transfer I did has taken effect. I didn't do any biometric capturing and I still have my old PVC
Your information has been transferred to Lagos due to your successful online transfer and your old PVC is no longer valid!

Throwback:
That is the annual IGR as the the entry and exit of each regime. So it is a yearly revenue, but at the values stated for start and end.

Obi cannot run my company, because rather than develop my company, he would starve it of operational funds just so he can make claim he has savings in the bank where he happen to have shares and was its former Chairman.
he also paid salaries and cleared pensions and gratuity backlogs
He also built schools and hospitals while embarking on other infrastructures and finally saved 75billion
You said he made 7b in 2006 and 8b 2014 yet still kept 75billion...let's assume he made on the average 7billion annually, that will translate into 48billion in his 8 year regime and he still kept 75billion?

Now you said you will not choose Obi(You are entitled to your opinion)that means you have automatically chosen obiano who made 28billion in just only one year and left an overall debt of 100billion....grin

I can imagine what your company would look like after you have sacked obiano grin

You want to vote for a wicked and visionless man that was described as a curse and bad omen to Anambrarians?

A man that cannot grow Anambra economy?
If he could not grow anambra economy, then where did he get #75billion that willy used to build airport in anambra?
U said willy made 28billion all through out his tenure and yet left a #100billion debt for the current governor!
Be sincere,Between willy obiano and obi,who would you give your company to run?

People like Deji are best ignored because his likes have been starved of the attention they desperately crave on SM
This same guy said Peter Obi is not only irrelevant but inconsequential and might likely not win in his polling unit grin
The same person came out and expressed frustration over why Obi will be taking PDP votes when he knows he will not win grin
Not done,he is now asking why Obi would use a stadium for his campaign....grin
My question is why are you so bothered about the platform he uses for his campaigns since Deji knows he will not win?
Why dispense so much energy talking and complaining about Obi as he is the only candidate contesting? grin
Deji should leave Obi alone and face his falling activism that is neither here nor there!

40 year high inflation, plus high foreign exchange rates, what is the landing cost of the petrol?
40 year high double inflation rate caused by this current administration's inability or incompetence to tackle insecurity, unstable power supply, high transport cost and multiplicity of taxes!
High foreign exchange rates primarily due to huge importation of PMS which should have been curtailed had this same administration fixed our refineries while building new ones!
If we had fixed our refineries and built new ones,we wont be talking about landing cost of petrol or even the scam called subsidy!
Saudi arabia started in 2016 to build three refineries and concluded the finishing touch in late 2021...Its in 2022,7 and half years of Buhari's administration, that this lethargic and ineptitude regime secured funds to repair the port-harcourt refinery after lying to us that the refineries were beyond repair..SMH

Where do we start, unemployment, inflation, killings, kidnapping, corruption, inflation

APC is a failed party
Even the #350 per litre is ontop the fact that we are still paying subsidy!
