Am ready 4 any modafvcker 2 quote me cos i would give it 2 u in double
for you to ask where Kanu was during Goodluck Jonathan shows that you are either a kid or you just came into the country. Kanu preached for Biafra and even insulted Goodluck on several occasions. But knowing the implications and negative impression it will create, Goodluck behaved as if he wasn't aware of kanu's existance. Buhari who is not diplomatic in approaching issues decided to get him arrested which escalated Biafra protests. Google is your friend. Ask Google kanu's insults on Jonathan and see the results.

my brothers, i appreciate your concern on the presidency project. Infact it is a welcome development, but i would advise my brothers on utilizing the said amount in dredging the RIVER NIGER and build ports and wharf, construct all the federal roads in our area so that the business will boom. With these, we will not beg anybody for job. Our youths will fully be angaged. After all with nearly 40years the north have been in power does not make free from poverty. All we want is human resourse and capital development.

in as much as reorientation is good, FG has to be reminded that reorientation is not enough without equity, justice and fairness to all. There are many deplorable, inaccessible and death traps all over the place. Is there any rail project in the southeastern state? No. while southeast will partake in the repayment of the loans. Reorientation trash. Solve these problems and things will work out.
Politics / Re: Northern Groups Warn Akiolu ,Oba Of Lagos From Interfering In Politics by betty202020(m): 11:00am On Feb 27, 2017
irepnaija4eva:
Two northern groups have warned Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos to desist from making inflammatory remarks on 2019 election

- The groups also accused Oba of Lagos of being corrupt and not in the best position to speak up against corruption

Two northern groups, the Northern Emancipation Network (NEF) and Adamawa Think Tank (ATT) have warned the king of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu to desist from interfering in the 2019 presidential elections.

Recall that the Oba of Lagos recently said that he would not support some certain corrupt people to contest for presidential elections come 2019.

There have been indications that Oba of Lagos might have been attacking former vice-President Abubakar Atiku, when he said some people served under ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and converted national properties to their own.

Premium Times reports that in two separate statements signed by Abdul-Azeez Suleiman for NEF and Danladi DanAsabe for ATT, the groups said the recent utterances of Oba of Lagos amount to a “clear breach of the tenets of royalty and nobility."

Suleiman said: “Besides, it is unthinkable how a person who was disgraced out of the police service would have the audacity to unjustly accuse others of corruption.

“We challenge him to provide clear proofs of his allegations otherwise he remains a discredited and lying member of the royal class and a disappointment to nobility and those who hold the institution dear."

“We remind the Lagos monarch that those in glass houses don’t throw stones about. We categorically tell the monarch that he lacks the capacity to influence any political event even in Lagos, not to talk of influencing any national event."

On his part, Mr. DanAsabe said the Oba was just playing politics, “seeing that politicking for 2019 will soon begin”.

Asabe also said: “Atiku relies on the support of all Nigerians as he goes about his politics and cannot help those who harbour unnecessary fears.”

Suleiman also said that Nigerians are not in a hurry to forget the way the Lagos Oba told the Igbo community in Lagos “to go die in the lagoon during the build-up to the 2015 elections".

“This shows that it is not the first time he will shed the garb of royalty and put on the clothing of motor park tout.”

Meanwhile, the Arewa Youths Forum (AYF) has accused northern governors of colluding with some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to make political gain in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The group released a statement signed by its national president Comrade Gambo Ibrahim Gujungu, the group alleged that President Buhari’s extended leave has accorded some northern politicians the opportunity to cash in at the extent of the region’s development.

you guys should not use Oba's careless rants on IGBOS to score a goal or make a point. After all your group(s) never condemned that act.

Childish post.

Judge by the unity displays among your governors. We witnessed the nothern governors, South West governors, South South governors harmoniously meeting to move their region forward, but the Igbo governors are busy tearing themselves apart on the media, calling themselves unprintable names like kids, what a ridden tribe.

Every region has a political structure to produce a leader that helps drive the political vision of their region but Igbos can not boast to have. Or who, Ekwueme, Ekweremadu, or who? The one appointed by Okorocha for APC in the region is already tearing them apart.
and who is okorocha to appoint a leader? did he appoint in a dictatorial or democratic manner? you would have been correct if you say "the one elected by apc in southeast is causing problem". one cannot appoint another to lead a group in igbo land. we elect a leader. And for your information, dont call a whole tribe RIDDEN to proof a point cos it will make your point pointless.

you sounds as if you didn't like the act, but you unconsciously / unintentionally advertised it more than the person that defaced the naira by bringing it to public notice. The best you would have done is to ignore it because that money is not the first currency ever defaced with some write up. GOVERNMENT advertised Nnamdi Kanu by using media to run him down, he became more popular. the same government brought issue of shotting down radio Biafra in the media which created more awareness about the radio. Now you have started your own to nairaland and it will be the latest trend. kontinu

Politics / Re: APC Never Promised To Fix Nigeria In One Year, Says Amaechi by betty202020(m): 8:47pm On Feb 06, 2017
expee06:
Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday, said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) did not promise to fix Nigeria’s problems within a year.

Amaechi, who was Director General of the campaign organisation of President Mohammad Buhari during the 2015 general election, however, urged Nigerians to wait till the end of four years before they would expect the ruling party to ix the problems.

He also accused the National Assembly of holding the Federal Government back from fixing infrastructure problems and creating jobs by failing to approve its borrowing plan.

Amaechi said this just as the minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Layi Mohammed cautioned Nigerians making statement that could cause religious disharmony warning that “no nation has ever survived religious war”.

The duo spoke in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, during a North Central town hall meeting ‎for the people of Kogi, Niger and Kwara by the Federal Government.

Amaechi said though the Federal Government had had the cries of Nigerians that things were difficult, they have to wait till the end of the four years mandate given to the administration before they could judge whether the government had performed or not‎.

Said he, “We did not promise you that those challenges will be solved in one year. If we promised you that those challenges would be solved in one year you would have given us one year but you gave us four years mandate so wait till the end of four years,” he said.

While giving account of stewardship of his ministry, Amaechi said the failure of the National Assembly to approve the federal government’s borrowing plan from China was holding the government back, while‎ urging the people from the three states to prevail on the National Assembly to approve the loan.

He said the loan, if accessed would enable the federal government to embark on the rivatalisation of rail projects which would create more jobs for Nigerians.
