I have advised the president to lock down the country Nigeria, I hope he listens |
It is sad to hear that a man can commit suicide as a result of patrotism for his country men and country. But reverse is the case in Nigeria where everybody is looking for how to survive and take all for himself. I can't imagine this happening in Nigeria. Even our president has not addressed Nigerian yet. We have not heard from him while South African president has had countless of address to his people and Ghanaian president had done the needful all in the bid to look for a way out of the guargmare that looks them in the face. Yet our president has left the exclusive legislative list in the hands of the governors. Wike and some other governors have been on their toes in seeing that their people is not affected or the impact is reduced. But here, our president is paying lip service to the whole episode. Quite unfortunate for a nation. |
Good one from the governor's, after all Bubu does not have the capacity to rule |
It is boring and tiresome. My wife and I are closer than before, I enjoyed it within the first 3 days but it is getting out of hand. It is like make I sleep and wake up and everything gets back to normal. |
OreSho:Amen. It is sad but what can one do? |
That is what you get when you married someone who did not start with you from the scratch. |
With the rate at which covid 19 is going in Nigeria, I think if care is not taken, we will find ourselves in a mess. Despite government lip service directive, some inhabitants of Bwari Area Council in the FCT went about their business as if they don't listen to news or are not aware of the pandemic. Bwari market was filled to the brim today, market men and women were selling their wares and people are not using any protective gear except a few people who used face mask and hand gloves. No sanitizer anywhere in the market and people are coughing and sneezing arbitrarily. I said to myself " are these people not aware of the happenstances in the country". My reason is that if these people continue to be non challant and the epidemic finds its way into Bwari market in the FCT, it will be worst than Lombardy in Italy. I therefore call on the chairman of Bwari area council and other stakeholders in the vicinity to enlighten the populace on the need to be proactive in the face of this looming pandemic. |

This man to me is a blessing unlike Dangote who could only donate 1000 bed in conjunction with Access bank having enjoyed more from Nigeria ranging from monopoly to being a lackey of the government. Oga Rabiu, you have done well and Nigerians are with you |
One of the lessons learnt is that humans are the same all over. What befall one, befalls another. |
To hell with all of you agitating that Oyedepo should be arrested. We know your trade in stock, you are Fulani jihadist masquerading as if you care while your intention is for all Christains should be wiped out. Your plans will not materialize and God will send his thunder to destroy all of you. You people have not wished Christians good in all your entire life and I don't think you will have a change of heart in foreseeable future except destruction which you are destined to have. Why this smokescreen of deception? Do you think we dont know your antics and plans? Was it only Oyedepo that gathered multitude during the wake of the pandemic in Nigeria? did we not read that many Imams and Alfas did gather multitude during that time? So why the fuse? You better be careful and let us all join hands in prayer for this pandemic to be a thing of the past. |
I was not born into poverty neither did I know what pauperism was until my dad divorced my mum to be with another woman with four children. My mum was a full time house wife, maybe I should say she was a stay at home mum. My dad was the one working, he was a contractor and we never lacked anything until he sent us out of the house ( my mum and 4 children). You can imagine a woman without a job taking care of four children I.e 3 boys and 1 girl. Thank God for some of my mother's friends and an uncle in the States who gave her money to start a beer parlour. It was the proceed from the joint that my mum was able to send us to school, pay for our one room face me, I box you room at Mokola Ibadan. It was not easy taking care of four children especially when they are male children (that is another story). Beer parlour business was not a lucrative business particularly if it was not on a large scale. Many a times we found it difficult to sell a bottle of beer. We did not have much customers but God was kind to us. Sometimes also, we engaged in prayers to have customer so that there could be food on the table. But my mum was tenacious and focused that her children must go to school and that was exactly what happened. To cut the long story short, I gained admission into the University and I graduated with one of the best results in my set. But I could not secure a job, That became a problem, i had thought that with my result i will secure a good job but all to no avail, yet my mum was dogged and supportive. I had to go for master programme and during the course of the programne, i suffered a lot, no money to do my assignmen, no money to pay the school fee but I tarried on, shortly after concluding the programme, I secured a job and now, I have my own family, my own car and my own house and life becomes rosy, i give all glory to God. Unfortunately, my mother who suffered and toiled did not live to enjoy the fruit of her labour and the man who abandoned us suddenly remembered that he had children somewhere. Lol. That is story for another day. |
Nigerians too can do it. In the video, some gullible people wanted to hold hands together if not that some people refrained from doing it. Its alright people are beginning to be conscious of themselves. |
I stand with Mikel 100% |
Tobrasky:I agree with you that the percentage index as you put it is less that 30% but it has improved compared to the time of our parents. In the past marriages between Igbo and Yoruba were usually short lived due to variance in culture and values but now a days there is a shift though not much but people are becoming conscious and I pray it continues and improves. It is high time we saw ourselves as Nigerians. This will assist us in moving forward and our future generation will thank us for that. Tribalism does not help anybody and it will not help in the future. I shared heritage from both regions and I enjoy it. I will advise that that you should give it a shot that is if you are not yet married but if you had, encourage another to do so. Thank you and God bless you. |
Tobrasky:Maybe you should research more on this, the statistics of Yoruba guys marrying Igbo ladies is more now a days compared to before. Permit me to inform you that Igbo girls prefer to marry Yorubas. Besides why should we bring tribalism into our discussion. The better we do away with tribalism, the better for us. Let us see ourselves as Nigerians, please |
I am dissapointed in Zubby or what miserable name they call you. You seem to have false believe that you are now a big time celebrity. If you had won or been nominated, you would not have spit the trash you just spitted. Do not drag Pete Edoche, Sir Kanayo O. Kanayo and co to this. They are veterans and they are not complaining. You should have just said " I am not recognized " then we will know where you are coming from. Should you not know, AMVCA is a viewers choice award. In other words, the viewers casted the vote, not individual or some group of people's choice. So, Zubby, horn your skills, you might catch the fancy of viewers next time and they will nominate you and possibly win an award but not with your present acting. Brother nde ala and cry cry baby |
Contacting COVID 19 is not a death sentence but then we have to be careful. Non challance of Nigeria government is worrisome. All the advisories you read on the pages of newspapers are just public stunt. The government is not trying and not proactive. Anyway, the people are the government and many of them are seeing the pandemic as a means of enriching themselves forgetting that they are nor apared. |
Pray for grace and favour. Those are all you need in this country. |
Having a good home does not have anything to do with marrying a virgin or non-virgin. It is basically about character, charisma among other virtues. Being a virgin is only a compliment. After all, not all men married their wives as virgin. Besides, one can marry a virgin and not have a rosy relationship as depicted above and vice versa. One can only pray not to get into wrong hands because the moment one does not choose right, mehn, it is a big wahala |
Tell that to the birds. Only a nut will believe your story. Okay? Since you are not legally married to him, no problem, you should have gone to the pharmacist house to tuski rather than bring him to the house the father of your children paid for. |
Fatimah's father unknown to her is a rogue who was nicknamed Gandollar. The nicknamed was as a result of his being bribed and he stuffed the dollar in his babariga. I actually understand how good to support one's parent but it would have been better if Fati had kept mute. Now she had steered the honet nest and she should be ready for avalanche of sting. Apart from this, former Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is far better than Ganduje. Sanusi is a reformist and trailblazer. While Ganduje is a mere governor of well respected Kano State but will later fizzle out while former Emir Sanusi Lamido's name will be remembered for he has written his name in gold. |
Get well Mikel |
Chochovini:It does not matter |
I love Teni |
I turned down Eddie Murphy in those days |
Show me a man/woman deligent in his/her work and I will show you many high places such people have threaded. |
lefulefu:l The woman's demeanor made me to have a rethink on the video. I was doubting the story when I read yours above. Some women can be bold o |
I have gotten countless of monetary gifts from relatives abroad. I may not be able to mention them majorly because I cant even remember the amount but I know I had received monetary gifts from relatives wella. The gift I will love to emphasise more was the monetary gift I got from a friend who was based in Wichita in 2010. I had concluded my Masters programme and was planning to further my education in preparation to teach at the University as no job was forthcoming. I discussed my plan with Sam who opted to finance the programme. He paid for the form but about two weeks after the purchase, I got a Federal Government job. Thinking about it now as I always do, I owe my friend a lot for his heart of gold. Had I not secured a job at that time, I believe God would have used him still. He would have continued to finance my PhD programme. I thank God for the wonderful opportunity and previledge to have nice and jolly people around me. |
I use Tecno K7. What should I do to have Infinix, I beg |
