The beautiful benevolence story of First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano , Osodi Eme Mma, towards popular Nollyword Actor , Ernest Asuzu can not be overstressed.

Mr Ernest Asuzu, an individual Osodieme didn't know from anywhere, hasn't had any contact with and wasn't from her State either but yet she couldn't resist the urge to help him . It's worthy to note that Osodieme's kindness and generosity knows no bound.

Osodieme's compassionate heart forced her to bring Ernest and his lovely wife Janiffer to Anambra State all the way from Lagos State for medical treatment .

On the order of the First Lady of Anambra State, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, Ernest Asuzu was receiving free medical treatment at Amaku Teaching Hospital Awka Anambra State for over a two weeks , while Osodieme was not even in the country.

On 18th February 2020, Osodieme visited Ernest Asuzu to ascertain his recovery progress at Odimegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital Amaku, Awka where has been receiving treatment.

Yesterday evening at the Governor's Lodge Amawbia, Mr Ernest Asuzu and his lovely wife Mrs Jennifer Asuzu were invited to dinner by the governor's wife.

Ernest and his wife were so grateful and thanked Her Excellency for all her charitable act towards them. They appreciated her and presented a portrait of Osodieme and His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano to her.

Hmmm ....using treatment as an excuse would increase the probability of your being rejected higher. They might request from the medical doctor (nominated by them) to confirm if such surgery can't be done locally before they can approve your referral to an hospital in the UK which would be damn expensive since you don't have insurance.

Why not explore applying on your own merit rather than try to latch on someone else? Better still if you must latch on, then apply as a family member (relative to the man's wife or to the man himself as cousin).

In all, ensure you analyze your chances of success or failure. Failure might lead to a ban though if care is not taken.

There is another means I want to use to apply..I have a medical condition(tonsil)I have been going for treatment in a federal hospital and they suggested I have to undergo a surgery to get it removed before it causes harm to my heart..I noticed the tonsil last year and have been to different hospitals yet nothing stopped it..the last hospital I went to is a federal hospital that suggested surgery.. The surgery can be done there but I'm thinking of telling them to refer me to a hospital in the UK for the surgery.. I will pay for the surgery and hotel reservation from here through a sponsor that will be able to provide all the needed documents.. Please what's your advice?

Depends on where your office (work) is located and where you intend to stay (living). I can't advise much without those details

What a crazy decision you took there with your daughter

1. Getting a permanent stay for her in the future would be VERY VERY difficult on overstayed visa and illegal migration. Aside this when deported, she could be banned for life.

2. On whether the UK HC will know ...its 50-50. Her name may pop as co-applicant to your now expired visa and a curious ECO may want to know more about her either from you or UK records .....somehow your daughter may have used NHS while in the UK through her guardian or whoever you farmed her to. Next if that is done, you could be prosecuted or banned for life or child trafficking.

3. Most definitely, Ireland and the UK share Visa applicants' information.

All these shouldn't be any of your problems to be sincere. Who cares about one relationship or the other? This initiative is an opportunity for some few hustling business owners to make it - nothing concerns an average Nigerian about all the political shii you're exemplifying above!

@embolden .....very apt and necessary! Even when you get the visa issued and you arrive at your destination airport, they still question you with respect to the refused application, so don't think you're off the hook after a refused application and getting issued with a visa later on.

ECO is not only interested in closing balance. In fact, regularity of incoming funds is equally as important or even more important. One thing I advise people is try convincing someone around you first before the ECO. Ask a friend if you show them a bank statement that shows some incoming funds which are not monthly salaries with a written explanation, if they will believe you. That’s like your word against any odds but your words wouldn’t count much.

I remember when I applied for my mother inlaw to visit me and wifey. I made her send me her 6 months bank statement. I studied all outgoing and incoming funds and backed up any claims with an explicit cover letter and paper evidence. For funds I sent to her over the course of months, I had receipts from recognised bureau with dates matching the dates the funds entered her account. This is just an example.

I know you now have a clearer understanding of what went wrong. If you are thinking of waiting a while and limiting your salary account to only salaries and no gigs, do not overlook the reasons you were denied this time. Do not assume you can now have a fresh application with bank statements devoid of those gig funds and everything is ok. You must still address the gigs albeit applications are treated on their own merits. They can still refer to your rejected applications. You can still do a more thorough explanation of those gig funds and then have documented proof of all funds for your next application.

Not sure family visa is for visiting close family members and not family friends. What you would need is just the regular tourist visa

Check the page 2 of the refusal letter to see if you have an option to appeal else you would need to correct all of these then look towards reapplying in 3-6 months time.

1. Your budget of N600K is more than two months of your disposable income. Look into reducing it or increasing your disposable income

2. Stop using your salary account for private gigs etc ...open a separate bank account for that. All the ECO wants to see is steady inflow of salary paid by your employer into the account to convince him you have a steady employment. Any other deposit triggers a red flag that if not properly explained with documented evidence would be counter productive.

3. You may also look into adding a cover letter to explain clearly all the inflows into your account

1. I am a worker earning steadily, which I provided my employment letter and series of salary increments over the years (5 letters of increment across the years). I also provided an introduction letter and my ID Card, my salary has been consistent on a particular date of the month which my statement captured it with the narration. I also provided my payslip to reflect all.

2. My disposable income is 100k.
3. Like I stated above my strong ties are my wife and child which I also provided information about them.
4. my budget was 600k

1. Are you worker earning steady salary? Did you get a letter of introduction from your employer corroborating this?
2. What is your disposable income monthly?

The issue I see here is that the ECO is not fully convinced that you have a steady source of income you will return to in Nigeria coupled with the risk of you staying behind with your father in the UK. Perhaps if you shed more light into what you stated in your application, it might help us all to advise you on what to do.

The irregular funds are funds like 200k etc which was in payment for some gig which I did. and those funds were not even available as at the time I printed my statement my closing balance was my salary. I am quite sad about the outcome. Because I tried to be as truthful as I could be.
