You would need to confirm where the funds are coming from. If you claim paid employment, you need to back it up. If you claim business, you have to back that up to show how those funds are available for your vacation without impacting your business negatively. Best bet ...open a business account and use solely for your business, pay yourself a fixed amount monthly from your business account, run it for like 6 months and attempt applying. rheene009: Hi Nairalanders,
I have read a few posts here regarding some refusals because of the large amount of money deposited into their account. As for me, I’m self-employed, I’m into real estate, my business is registered (business name tho). At least I make 800k-900k per month, I use my personal savings account for business transactions. I would like to ask do I maintain the monthly payment of 800k-900k in my account or if I have a larger sum/transactions they shouldn’t go to my personal account to avoid been queried and denied.
Thanks |

I blame APC as a party solely for this, they should've vetted their candidates properly before presenting them for any election. How can one man bear different names. Samething happened to late former Senate President Evan Enwereme ...in contention was the name 'Evan' while in his certificate it was Evans. chrisxxx: These are the different names traceable to the APC Deputy Governor in Bayelsa that led to Supreme Court disqualification of the governor. He bore these names at different stages of his life.
Mr Degi-Eremienyo’s name was written as Degi Biobara in his primary school certificate. The documents from his secondary education bore Adegi Biobarakumo, as his name. While that of his university education had Degi Biobarakuma as his name.
Also his MBA certificate had Degi Biobarakuma Wangaha as the name of the same person. As the Deputy Governor-Elect he bore Mr Degi-Eremienyo.

The judgement is flawed because the deputy governor wasn't standing election on a standalone basis and so his qualification shouldn't affect that of the main candidate. If in the case of the running mate to the late governor-elect of Kogi State was not allowed to take over the mandate because he wasn't a sworn-in yet before the death occured, then I see no reason why this should hold. Buh .....this is Nigeria, the result of this wahala will have a lot of input to the Imo State wahala at the Supreme court.....abeg na dem wahala |

Can we ask you the question (truthfully) 'Why did your mother in law' stay more than the expected 3 weeks?' If you can convince us with a genuine reason, then you can convince the ECO gal90: Good point Darvick.
How do I convince the ECO why she stay so long? The reason really is she is not doing much in Nigeria. Also my children are in full time education, so she is really not doing any/much childminding for her grandchildren. So its just for a change environment.
Also note that my first question was how do we make a successful application and secondly 6 months or 2years application because we applied for 2years after her first successful application hence I asked do we revert to 6month application.
Please give your views.

Have you had your blood pressured and heartbeat rate checked? Very important to know that when you jog or do strenuous exercises, your heart pumps faster than normal and if you have any underlying health issues, it aggravates it. You will never know all of these if you've not gone for a checkup sampete: No, I haven't gone for a medical checkup. Haven't had the need to. I have enjoyed excellent health for years, not even an headache. Thanks To God's grace.
I started small last year. Now I can jog up to 5km
And how do I know if I'm using the wrong/right running shoes?. I feel comfortable in the one I'm using. And I'm not overweight, just a regular average dude. |

Have you gone for a medical check up prior to resuming your jogging? Your health condition 4 years ago may not be the same this year. Don't end up as part of the statistics. Start small and gradually increase your distance or better still register with a gym and use treadmill instead. Jogging affects the joints and bones if you're over weight and or using the wrong jogging shoes. sampete: I started jogging last year after quitting for more than 4 years. I have been having pains around my kneecap and my legs in general after jogging, and most times I can't stand on my legs the next day. I have had to stop to recuperate then continue, the pain continues. I have even had to build endurance, hoping the pains would go if I continue jogging everyday, it only got worst. Now I jog only on Saturdays and I still tend to feel pains around my legs and knee the next Saturday.
I would really love to go jogging at least 4 times in a week. Please guys what do I do?
Please I will like to know if there are drugs I can take for the pain or for quick relief?
Also are there any food supplements I can take to strengthened my bones? |

Excellent idea. It doesn't matter, as far as you show clearly where the funds are coming from and your travel budget is not more than twice your monthly disposable income. Atu6040: Ok, but if I separate my saving from my business account now. Is possible for my monthly earning increase more than what I once declared in my previous application. Ooh really? Never knew that but then it depends on the type of business ...if you're offering a service oriented business then that might work but when it is a merchandise-based business, it might be difficult to separate your business capital from your profit using the receipts alone ...I might be wrong but the ECO would want to make sure you're not using customers' deposits for supply of goods for vacation Darvick: Your receipts of sales you submitted is counted as payslip, not only when you are self employed that you refer to it as payslip. |
