Excellent. Thanks for pointing this out. BTW I see your battery life has improved drastically just like mine. Appears Xiaomi has got something right this time around. On full charge mine displays 54 hours and I was getting scared. Charging now to see how it goes.

What's the function of digital wellbeing?
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by bigtt76(f): 3:56pm On Nov 20, 2019
I switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data when I get home and or when I'm away from the office.

My screen is on auto brightness but when in the dark, I manual increase the brightness.

I've had battery saver on right before the upgrade and I've always been on 16 hours maximum battery life per day until yesterday when I saw 54 hours (2 days and some hours) battery left.

Prior to yesterday, I made sure I disabled all unwanted app running in the background, turned on reading mode. Yesterday after the upgrade, I enabled Digital Wellbeing

I'm still baffled but will try to drain the battery and recharge from zero to recalibrate my battery and see.

gidieberry:
Lemme guess, most of the time u were on WiFi, phone was mostly used without the screen at the highest brightness, light usage from what I can see..

If my above assumptions were correct, it's perfectly normal

Don't know but this is my RN5 AI on MIUI 11 installed yesterday... Is this just me or what? undecided

Anyone with similar battery experience on the same rom? I did an OTA upgrade.

So because defamation is a civil wrong, it's not worth investigating and punished by the school authority or what?

We might as well tell the university authority not to suspend the students but allow them to sort themselves out by going to the police and court as fighting and assault are both civil wrongs naaa angry

9jaRealist:
With all due respect, but this epitomizes that Agbero Culture that has befallen much of NIGERIAN public space...
Defamation of character (alleged) is a CIVIL wrong and if someone defames your character, you seek civil remedy not assault them.

And btw, I hope that you know that TRUTH is a COMPLETE DEFENSE to defamation allegations...
So just because a person dies not like others telling the TRUTH about his/her shenanigans does not make it defamatory.

It might not be unconnected to the time of the year and possibility of an impending white Christmas in the UK which doesn't make sense in their mind for a Nigeria to want to visit during that period except the person has an intention of not returning back to his or her homeland (my thoughts though) cheesy

Second space saves you from prying eyes like SARS and Gbomo-Gbomo. Just activate and save all your financial apps on the second space, no prying eyes will go there. With the multiple users on stock Android, the usernames will be there in view for the above-mentioned miscreants to prompt you to unlock.....#ThankMeLater

Trex4:
If second space is your ultimate need in a phone why not get a pure stock Android Mobile and turn on guest mode? It's better than second space in miui and you won't have to deal with bad cameras that for some reason find their way to dxo mark. And also second space saved you from what exactly?

I believe the victim needs to be punished too if found culpable of inciting the accused persons' anger through defamation of their character. It should be nobody's business how the other party chooses to live their life and should not go about revealing nasty things about them without their consent.

I guess the investigation will reveal much more.

I would advise you take time off, visit for a week or two and look around, you just might be lucky to get something going for you before making that decision to relocate.

It might be good for you say you're into remote work like the freelancer thing, stable power and internet access are good here but again, Naija boys have made it look as if everyone is a yahoo boy or person such that you might be reported to the authorities if they see you don't go out to work.
Travel › Re: Relocating From Nigeria To Ghana by bigtt76(f): 4:55pm On Nov 17, 2019
The competition would be stiff. They've got good creative and arts schools here and their graduates are top notch but you can give it a try though. Not sure if they would pay well. undecided

Thanks but can’t I get a job as a graphic designer in there publishing sector?
Travel › Re: Relocating From Nigeria To Ghana by bigtt76(f): 4:53pm On Nov 17, 2019
Depends on the area you chose to live but to be fair, the power cuts are not as frequent as here in Nigeria. Like once in 30 days and when it does happen, it's restored within the next few minutes except it's a major fault. No frequent system collapse cheesy

themaestro08:
without sugar coating does Ghana experience power cuts as we do here?
Travel › Re: Relocating From Nigeria To Ghana by bigtt76(f): 3:36pm On Nov 17, 2019
Nice but have you thought of how to sustain both yourself and your son?

You need to get a good paying job which is usually not open to foreigners except you were transferred there as an expatriate working with a foreign company.

Having said the above, the costs depends solely on your choice and living standards. Things are dammn expensive here but you can survive same way as the locals are but that may be way below your living standard currently in Nigeria.

beautygboel:
Good day Nairalanders,

I have been nursing the thought of relocating to Ghana with my little boy, 3years plus.

Any information from cost of living, to schooling, housing and all that will be appreciated.

It's been rewritten. There's a Bible for Women or something like that. A Christian wrote it.

And what does the Bible have to do with this making sense or not?
