Everyone has a right to his or her choice opinion. If he says he's not going to protest, you can't force him emotionally or otherwise. We all know those clamoring (aside 2Baba) to join in the protest are the same ones flaunting dollars in our face on social media..... How can we forget this so soon? Brown14: |
If it's risky for me to go I won't go. My life is worth more than ExxonMobil would pay me. Besides I'm on sure I would get the job. Even if I'm sure, staying alive would be more beneficial to them than being swept away by the flood. Even their HR go look me like mumu drenched to come for an interview. To think that ExxonMobil is a stickler for employee safety, I would be disqualified braving a dangerous storm to attend an interview with them ![]() bluice2: |
In as much as the OP tried to put Web4Africa hosts on the hot seat, I would say that the response of Web4Africa lacked professionalism. More like a case of an Agbero answering back at an Agbero. Fortunately enough I've known the CEO for many years a d I can vouch that he would never respond the way the handler her did. Nigerian companies ought to behave professionally like others else where in the world. Godaddy or other worse hosts wouldn't respond in this way. Anyway, like I said I've know Web4Africa hosts for years and have done several registrations with them without issues and would otherwise hesitate to recommend them. Having said thus, OP and the Web4Africa handler should please come to an agreement and delete these thread. Not fit to remain up. |
Well I'm saying I won't leave if the rain meets me at HOME! If the rain meets me at the place of worship fine. My only concern was with one of the tweets where the person was trying to say if you can go to work while its raining then you should be able to go to church while it is raining. Before it rains and being there while raining are two different scenarios. ismart: |
Don't get me wrong here ....Like I stated, if I have to do it, I would do it out of my HEART and NOT out of compulsion by MAN's word. The injured bank staff is doing it not from his/her heart but by compulsion of the bank's management. I won't say because people would look down on me if I don't go to church while injured or because it rained, I take off and start off to church ....that is edifying the heart of men and not God. I don't follow the will of men when it comes to worshiping God though its more glorifying when you do for God not when you're comfortable but rather distressed BUT not to please men. ismart: |
I don't like it when someone says 'Do you stop going to work because it's raining' when it comes to justifying why you should enter the rain and go to church. It just doesn't relate. If it rains heavily, I don't leave my home to go anywhere except it is an emergency!!! If in doubt then visit Lagos and go out when it rains #Nansense |
LMAO ...they should reconfigure their ATM into asking the currency note quality we would like oooo! Since they cannot sort their currency notes again #uselessBanks sweerychick: |

Might be a tactical appointment so as not to leave a void in the country's governance while he's in transit back to Banjul. ![]() |

I wonder how long it would take Lagos State Government before they would start sanctioning those rickety buses plying the roads. Government should partner with the private sector and fashion out ways through which modern buses can be purchased and replace all these. In the meantime, they should also try and organize frequent training programmes for these drivers. |
Guy is broke ![]() |
Thou Shalt Not Covert..... Part of the ten commandment. It does not necessarily mean shacking your neighbor's wife or taking over his or her servant, it also mean holding too tightly to what is not yours. You covert the 2nd row in the church too much which is not good. It also shows that your going to church has not really touched your heart. You do it merely for the sake of doing it. God can touch anyone no matter his or her position in the church, you only have to believe. I know for some reasons, people dislike being disturbed by others who get up 10x before end of service to go out or other places. If this is your reason, then try to arrive at your church as early as possible so you an keep your seat. |
Go and ask this on their Facebook page tommyken: |
Must be the calippers holding the brake pads ![]() |
Very true. During their time, an educated person would not take the sort of risk these men too which lead to their stupendous wealth. |
Look way he make those young ECOMIG troops miss their practicals ![]() |
'Tape' keh? I would rather use the word 'record' buh what do I know ![]() I think we are gradually losing our sense of vocabulary to use when describing an action or a thing in this country. That's how the following changed 1. Bank debit cards became 'ATM' 2. All seasoning cubes became 'Maggie' 3. All brands of instant noodles became 'Indomie' 4. All toothpastes became 'Macleans' 5. Instant Messaging became 'Wassup' 6. Linda Ikeji's blog became 'Linda' I could go on and on... BTW add yours too. We need to change all this. |
Not down. Check your network provider. Probably a DNS issue. You can try using 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 or 4.2.2.2 Brio984: |
