How would the hospital break-even if they run as a charity or on promissory notes. Is it the promise of payment that would be used to pay the staffs? Why don't you sue banks to court when they go gung-ho over an indebted customer. Radarada

Yes they can though usually by replacing with exact one and see if the screen goes white again. It all depends on your location. I don't know how much though but last I got I think it was between 10-15k 2015 though

Your screen or the VGA controller is dying off gradually

Eze2000:
Hi
I used my PC all night then turned it this morning only for d screen to go all white on me. white with flashing black lines
The PC is HP on 8.1 windows. it used something like this but minor form where the screen just turns very bright then I readjust d brightness and its fine.
Could this this be a hibernation related problem? I ask cos as a writer/blogger I always have open work and just hibernate my PC with multiple software open.

The PC is now back to normal again.

what's going on?.

Bia nnwanne .....nor bi you get your preek again? Abi what's all the 'she delibrately took in again? grin If you nor want more kids then stop pracking her.

As for your wife ....abeg leave her jooooor! I'm sure you're one of those who confused her head back then in school resulting into what she is today.

Regards, the divorce thingy ....it would do you good to just cancel that thought for the sake of your children.

Solution here is to reason with her. Buy her dresses you would love seeing her in and destroy those you hate. Where is the love that attracted you to her initially? Did you f@ck it away? You don't have to whitewash your wife and mother of your kids on social media. Try and train her the way you want her to turn out.

There are thousands of online platforms to help educate her within the confines of your bedroom ....look for those. Case Close!!!

wonukwuru:
I am adult married to a lady of 35years. We have been married since 2007. God has blessed us with 3 wonderful children( 2 boys and 1 girl). Before we got married, i agreed with my wife that i only want to have 2 kids ( I wouldnt mind if they just boys or girls. That means, Im not particular of the sex of the kids). My wife is a B.sc Accounting graduate, while myself, I am a Chartered Accountant, with a well paid job. My wife had a 3rd class degree. On several occassions, i have told her to go back to school for Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in order to upgrade, but she plainly told me that she cannot go back to school again. When i asked her why, she told me that her brain cannot withstand any academic stree again. I also suggested to her, since you studied accounting in the university, why not enroll for ICAN program? When i said that to her, she told me that she could not go for PGD, is it ICAN that she can do? I have been thinking, what will i do for her to be like others.

Luckly, was transferred to Benin. I went with my family to Benin. We stayed over 4years in Benin. While we were in Benin, I told my wife to go and enroll for a 6months diploma programm in computer (because she is not computer literate). I paid over N110,000 for the 6months programme. My wife only went for the programme for 1month and stopped. She refused to complete the program. When I asked her, she told me that she will go back after she had "put to bed"( Then she was pregnant). Guys, its over two years now and the baby is even in pre-nursery school, yet my wife has not reminded me of going back to complete the programme.

Last year, she asked me to open a store for her, that she want to go into trading. When I asked her the nature of the business, she said, she wants to deal on selling rice, beans, yams, groundnut oil, etc. I now suggested that it will not be a problem, but she has to look for somebody who is already in the business so as to understudy the person for atleast 1month. She refused, saying that without her understudying anybody, that she can still make it. I told her that my reason of suggesting to her to understudy somebody was that, i wanted her to be selling in wholesale. My plan was to give like N1.5million. I told her, i cannot just release N1.5million to her for a business that she did not learn. I told her that N1.5million is not a small money. Brethren, that was why up til now, i have not opened the business for her.

My children's school fees is over N650,00 per term for the 3 kids. I provide for feeding. My wife does not want to do anything as to assist me in the family. I give her money for her hair, cream, bathing soap, panties and clothing. Im really getting tired. My salary does not carry the family again because of too much expenses.

Another problem now is, my wife's dressing is nothing to write home about. She dresses as if she is in her late 60s. I have complained to her on several occasion that i dont like the way she dresses, but each time i bring up the issue, she will get angry. People around, have meeting my sisters to tell them that my wife does not dress well as somebody that has gone to the university. Even in my house, my wife only tires wrapper. Nothing in her again attracts me to her. Infact, for the past 3 months, i have not slept with her. I sleep in the parlour while she sleeps in the bed room.

Else, i forget, my wife delibrately "took in" again since July last year. This is after we agreed that the 3 kids that we already have is enough. Her method is, each time i remind her of what to do as to be assisting me in the family, she will delibrately "take in".

My wife, went to the university but she cannot speak simple and correct english. She cannot write application letter. She cannot teach my kids who are in primary 2 and 5 respectively. I pay a lesson teacher N30,000 monthly for my kids but my wife is at home doing nothing. Since we got married, my wife has not sent me text message on her phone more than 3times. The ones that she sent, my brothers, there are lots of gramatical blunders. When i confronted her with the text message, she could not say anything. I was checking for some documents in my room last week, and i came across an application that my wife wrote to submit to a private school where she wants to teach. When i saw the letter, believe me, my brothers, one of my kids that is in primary 5 cannot write such rubbish.

What i thought she was before i married her, is not what she is. I cannot take her out for an occassion because she may embarrase me by her conduct in the public. I need a divorce but the problem now is, i did i court wedding with her. What should i do? Im confused.
Crime › Re: Yahoo-yahoo, Yahoo-plus, But Have You Heard About Yahoo-uber? by bigtt76(f): 11:08am On Jan 04, 2017
Sh!T ....they've infiltrated Uber too? grin Chai ....they did or still doing same on all those sport betting sites that allow you to withdraw Naija sef! No wonder PayPal has refused to allow receive for Nigerian PayPal accounts.

koresma26:
When you enter a city, and you need someone who knows everything, find yourself cab driver. Uber drivers are no different.

.

Imagine this. You're an Uber driver, and you receive a pickup request. The name reads "Jung Shin", and you're thinking, oh an Asian passenger. You wonder what he or she will talk about.

You reach the pickup location and a twenty-something-year-old black dude jumps in the backseat of your car.

The only explanation in your head is that Lagos Sun has darkened his Asian skin, and somehow, given him Yoruba accent.

Conversations with drivers are always interesting if you're in the mood. One day, they are telling you which celebrities joined the Uber business with 52 cars. Another day, they are telling you how much they make weekly and how they'll never go back to their desk jobs.

Sometimes, they tell you about how passengers are disrespectful. That's how I and my driver start off.
"You know you're the boss," he says less than five minutes into the trip.

"Aren't you a boss too?" I ask. He drives a really nice car, and I don't even have one. "But I'm the one who gets to drive you around," he says. Typical Nigerian washing formula.

"I don't think it's about who's boss," I reply, "I think it's about mutual respect between two of us. I pay you money. You take me where I want to go."
He takes a moment before he says, "you're the first passenger to ever tell me this".
Uber Tip: If you're in the mood for fresh gist, respect your driver. He has so much he'd gladly tell you for that 5-star rating. If you've never used Uber before, you get to rate the quality of service after a trip. They get to rate you too.

Somehow, we end up talking about "Yahoo Boys" and Uber.
"The way they enter Uber, you'll know it's not their money," he says. "But what if it actually their money," I try to counter.

"No o," he responds. "It's mostly from Ikorodu you pick them. They'll request for Uber, tell you to take them to V/I, then say they forgot something, and that they need you to take them back. Even Island people don't use Uber like that."

He didn't stop there. He went on to talk about how they'd literally send you halfway through Lagos to go pick up someone. On a reading metre. That's basically paying for an empty cab to move around.

"The other day, someone sent me to go and pick his girlfriend after I had just dropped him off. All on a reading metre."

That's not the most shocking part.
"Those boys always make offers," he continues, "they'll tell you to pick them up and just let the metre read."

Here's the business side of it.
"You won't actually pick them up. All you have to do is accept their ride on the app, then just drive around with a reading metre. End trip. When Uber credits the driver's account they then send them their cut".
I don't bother to ask him if he's done it before.
.
I ask him how they do it. "It's the foreign credit cards. The people who own the cards abroad might not even notice."

Yahoo Boys have a reputation for their online scams. Part of that reputation includes stealing credit card details, and Uber is just perfect for that card part.

He explains further.
"Look at our rubbish naira. With our current exchange rate, if you enter cab for 3,000 naira, that is less than $10. The people whose cards they're using abroad might not even notice because the money is so small"
We talk about Uber and how they investigate rides that are over 20,000 naira, and random stuff.

By the time he's done, we have reached my destination.
"Thanks boss," he says as I step out. "Don't forget to give me 5-star rating."
You bet I did.

So if you would listen, that car will only drain you more now. But getting the other two would bring you more income. Family › Re: My Wife Is Driving Me Crazy??? Getting Frustrated Here by bigtt76(f): 5:39pm On Jan 03, 2017
Sit her down and lay out your long term plans before her and how you both intend to achieve it. Family holidays, bringing forth kids, owning own house, catering for extended families etc are issues you guys need to discuss together. Make her understand the need for a monthly budget. If she insists on expensive stuff, then some other items on the budget list would suffer.

Do not go out of your way to stock the house, reason a budget with her based on the household items required. If she shoots above it .....do not try to make it up rather ensure both of you endure the need to sacrifice other items on the list.

For example, if she insists on buying 4 ply toilet rolls @500 naira each when a 2ply goes for 100 naira (meaning 500 hundred would have bought 5 2ply toilet rolls instead of 1 4ply). If the 4ply finishes ....no buying another until the next month. You both go use water ....only then would she see the import of what you want her to learn.

overcomer123:
How do couples with different spending patterns cope

my partner is driving me crazy, we have been fighting about everything that has to do with money, she is kinda of lavish and i am prudent. It is really frustrating, she sees me as a miser. She has this idea the higher the cost the more quality, but i know this is not necessary the case. at least from experience, i know how people inflate prices , i try to spend on actual value. I have sat her down and explained to her. How we should nt waste, she promises to change but next thing she is back to the basics.

I also think i may be partially responsible for this, during our courtship, i use to lavish her with very expensive gifts. which to me shd nt be a crime, I wasnt spending beyond my means and there is nothing wrong in giving your woman some exclusive treats once in a while what now bothers me is she expects the cinderella story will continue forever.

There was a day the argument got so intense, she began to say very uncool stuff, on hw she know i hate spending on her and always complain. i really felt hurt. She never looks at the big picture, it is always the most expensive stuff she wants, whenever we do anything.

Our counseling was rushed and proper attention wasnt given to finances and all, everyone just believes she is a well behaved girl. We just got married, I really dont know how i missed this earlier during courtship, but it really causing alot of whahala in our home. The funny part is most of this so called expenses are usually to be solely footed by me. My wife has not for one day called me to say she too will contribute this amount for this or that. I dont complain, or expect, where i have problem is when i decide to pay and she complains it is nt good enough. Am sure if her money was involved she would understand what i mean.

Currently i earn more than her, i found a temporary solution which is to keep her out of the financial decisions, Whenever. i want to buy stuff for the house I dont consult her anymore, i just go and buy the stuff and return home showing her i bought it, instead of the normal asking her which is better and she picks and we begin to fight and argue. This is temporal and actually not the best but what can i do? The fights are just getting to me.

When we started i used to expose her to how much I had and all and plans to maybe get a land and all and maybe start bulding. She knows how much i earn and all. but i dont think she is matured to handled some of these things. And i guess cos she knows of the money available (my saivngs) this is why she just goes for the most expensive and all and just acts lavish.

I had to lie to her that i was scammed of several of millions through MMM to make her forget about the available cash.

Just imagine the rubbish i have to go through.

See me see whahala , me and my own wife again.

Is anyone dating a partner with an opposite spending habit.

Can you share and let me learn how you overcame this problem.

Sorry o but this is wrong! While not supporting Jammeh, ECOWAS should allow the country's judiciary run its course on the impasse before taking a stand. The same ECOWAS shouting the rule of law in Nigeria is now going to forcefully install a president in another country?

Buhari sef nor de read in between the lines? If he succeeds in this task, nothing stops another ECOWAS meeting appointing another President in the sub-region to help mediate and enforce Biafra grin IPOB guys go de happy now .....lek say I de support them tongue but na di truth be that.

ECOWAS had ruled in favor of Kanu and Dasuki yet they still languish in detention (not that I care about them though) but if you must enforce ECOWAS ruling, then try enforce that which concerns your countiri first before going to another countiri

Phace:
President Muhammadu Buhari has imitated moves towards the actualisation of the mandate given to Gambian president-elect, Adama Barrow.

According to a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Sunday, in the discharge of his mandate as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) mediator for The Gambia, President Buhari has activated the process for the execution of his task.

The statement recalled that one of the outcomes of the just-concluded ECOWAS Summit held on December 17, 2016 in Abuja was the decision to designate President Muhammadu Buharias the Mediator for The Gambia with Mr. John Mahama, the out-going President ofGhana as co-mediator. It said the Summit also gave the terms of reference to include ensuring the safety of Barrow, the political leaders and the entire population; upholding the result of the presidential election held on December 1, 2016 and ensuring that the president-elect is sworn into office on January 19, 2017, in conformity with the constitution of the country.

According to the statement, on the direction of the President, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama is leading a Mediation Support Team (MST),working with the team of the co-mediator, President Mahama. The committee has begun immediate consultations with leaders in the sub-region as well as with international partners. main task of the Mediation Support Team is to undertake the first phase of the preparatory and support work that would lead to a high level meeting of the mediator (President Buhari) and the stakeholders,” it said.

It added that Buhari remained optimistic that a peaceful resolution of the problem,in line with the laws and the constitution of The Gambia was possible before the January 19, 2017 inauguration date of the new president.

Very crazy ooooh! The don't even understand the implications sef. Every merchant's POS transactions from 1000 naira upwards becomes reduced by 50 naira. This would discourage cashless transactions.

What of the attendant discouragement of savings amongst the people? I would prefer to save at home which in turn attracts robbers the more. I wonder where in the world they witnessed this that they now decide to implement back home. At a time when the world is looking for ways to bank the unbanked ...we are looking to exploit the banked and encourage the unbanked at maintaining status quo.

See the style this FG is using, can anyone make deposit to an account that will be less than 1000 naira angry huh What this means invariably is that, 50 bucks will be charged on every transaction including two people. Ahhhh this is awful, the rich may not have problem with that but I fear for the low income earners, the market women, petty traders on the streets and what have you.
