Same thing I noticed too. Looks like Diamond Bank have used style to convert all Diamond Savings Extra Account to semi Current Account
upuphim: I have account with Adeola Odeku branch of Diamond Bank with account number ending 8751. I got a debit alert for a charge of N100 described as Stamp duty charge/Sep- 2016 Time 10/01/17@5.46am. Another alert for N50 described as Stamp duty charge/Jul- 2016 Time 16/01/17@12.50pm. The last one came for N50 described as Stamp duty charge/Jul- 2016 Time 16/01/17@6.35pm. All alert came on the same day.
To the best of my knowledge, CBN Governor was only contemplating extending stamp duty to Savings Account. So I don't just know why this should apply to my Savings Account in another financial year or have Diamond Bank not closed their financial record for 2016?
Towards the end of last year, I was frustrated to closed my HIDA account at Jibowu Branch because of unnecessary debits, I hope they are not pushing me to do likewise. Guys in the house help me call Diamond Bank to order. This is not how to generate profit to be declared for year 2016.

bbbabes: 36-year-old Nigerian man, Igwe Francis died under mysterious circumstances, moments after he got into a scuffle with his former landlord, in southwest Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, on January 6th, 2017. Francis reportedly got into an argument with his former landlord, Liaquat Ali, who claimed he owed him Rs 30,000 in rent.
According to the Police, since Francis was not fluent in English, Ali wrote the figure “30,000” on a signboard at the spot.
The two then got into a scuffle, following which Francis tried to run away. But after running 200 metres, he collapsed on the road, police said, citing eyewitnesses. He was rushed to a hospital nearby, but it didn’t have life-saving equipment. Francis was then taken to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. DCP (southwest) Surender Kumar said initial investigation revealed Francis had bruises on his body. "As per the initial report doctors gave us, he had an injury on the back of his head. We are yet to establish if he hurt himself or if he was beaten up. We have questioned at least 25 people, but none of them said he was beaten up. We are conducting a thorough investigation," said the DCP. He said the Ministry of External Affairs has been informed about the incident. Ali is being questioned and investigation will be complete within 30 days, Kumar said. Police sources said a case was filed after the medical report revealed a head injury.
On January 8, Ali was booked under IPC Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
The case was filed on the basis of a complaint by the victim’s brother, whom he called minutes before he collapsed.
According to the FIR, Francis said over the phone that he was "being attacked". The brother, who did not wish to be named, said, "I received a call from him that his previous landlord was harassing him. He called me again saying he was being attacked and needed my help. A few minutes later, when I arrived, I found him lying unconscious on the road." He alleged that Francis was dragged inside a garage and beaten up by three people. "He managed to escape but collapsed on the road," he said.
Wrong move by Barrow. Jammeh will not allow a flight with Barrow on-board to land in Banjul So while his supporters would want to battle Jammeh, they would lack motivation and there ends

DONSMITH123: The rehabilitation of the new terminal building of the Kaduna Airport which will serve as alternative for both local and international passengers has begun. This development follows the closure of the Abuja international airport for six weeks, starting from March 8, 2017.
The roads linking the Kaduna airport to the city are currently under construction.
On Thursday, the Minister of State for Aviation, Mr Hadi Sirika and Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, appeared before the Senate to explain the reason for the planned closure of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport and why Kaduna is the best alternative.
Sirika, insisted on the closure of the Abuja airport which was constructed in 1982 as the runway has exceeded its lifespan of 14 years.
The Senate is vehemently opposing the closure of the Airport, saying the diversion of flights to Kaduna will endanger lives of Nigerians.
Sure ....I would try them at the Palms in Lekki soon.
dustmalik: Oh, I see. Well, mine was successfully swapped though. I didn't experience any hitch. If you are in Abuja, you can either do the swap at their head office in Wuse 2 or the one at Ceddi Plaza.
Yes you remembered correctly. Yes it showed compatibility with Glo LTE but I've not taken time to go and swap my SIM due to several complaints I read of on Twitter of people whose SIM were not properly activated. I cannot afford to have my line down for a minute. I also bought NTEL too but have not tried it.
dustmalik: If i remember correctly, you had a UMI device, right? Did you find out if it's compatible with Glo LTE (band 28)?
Apart from oyel the country produces, what does it produce again to warrant such huge overheads? I doubt if the total that actually gets to the workers is higher than 1 trillion naira.
Islie: The federal and 36 state governments will spend half of their N13.5 trillion total budgets for the year on salaries and overheads, Daily Trust investigation have shown.

3 Shehu shagari: Democrat and failed leader.
4. Muhammad Buhari: Dictator, Militocrat and failed leader.
5. Ibrahim Babangida: Dictator and failed leader.
6. Earnest Shonekan: Figure head and failed leader.
7. Abdusalami Abubakar : Dictator and failed leader.
8. Goodluck Jonathan : Democrat and failed leader.
All these people are in a country that has not had 60years of independence. They are just of nuisance value, eating up the little resources we have for their maintenance and causing confusion in the polity.
Charles Taylor was once here after ruining Liberia. Now Yahya Jammeh is coming to join to our long list of failed leaders. My question is, has Nigeria become a retirement home for useless former leaders?
America that has had a solid 200+ years of independence only have 4 past leaders living. (Jimmy Carter, George Bush the 41st, Bill Clinton and George Bush the 43rd) Obama is going to make them 5 on 20th January and Jimmy Carter is already waving goodbye as Obama is being welcomed to the group.
Jammeh should go to Ghana biko. We are not the only country that desire peace in Gambia.
