Very humble guy not like those ones posting Rolex watches, plane tickets or whining about flying economy class. You know matured money by the less noise it makes. Always remember - paper money does not make noise compared to coins when in your pocket grin

I need anyone living in the USA to assist me with a shipping address that products I order will be sent to. In return, all products delivered becomes yours. I wouldn't classify this as business, I will classify it as favour.

Not really undecided though I don't know how large or how segmented the mall is, the wash/rest room I'm seeing shows just 3 WC, 2 Urinals and 3 Wash sinks. Does that mean they Mall expects at a maximum 8 people only in the convenience at any given time? I remember in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during a brief stop over at the airport, passengers had to queue up to use the rest room.

A mall, no matter the configuration should have a wash/rest room facility to accommodate as many as possible. Like I said earlier, I wouldn't know the actual size of the mall but in anycase ...all the best to the architect and builders grin

Amoled screens display true black without the noticeable white backlight as present on the IPS screens. It is also power efficient.

In addition to the above, Amoled screens display high resolution images better than IPS.

But there doesn't seem to exist enough space for the dividers... I might be wrong though. After the same time the number of urinals and WC seem grossly inadequately installed angry na queue people go join before use o grin

iDashNaira:
It will be demarcated eventually. It is simply the installation of divider panels and everyone will have the much desired privacy ... My thoughts tho.

I wonder what architect designed such a wash/rest room angry

bloodyBLOGGER:
the way the toilets are built is enough indication of what it will look like few months down the line. I wonder how comfortable it will be for me to poo with others watching while rinsing their hands at the sink. Won't they find the smell offensive?

The toilets will definitely look horrible later on cos aba is a dirty town. The architect should have put that into consideration.

Business › Re: The Nigerian Naira Failed To Respond To The Euphoria That Came With The Signing by bigtt76(f): 7:52am On May 08, 2016
Budget signed on Friday, and you expect Naira to rise on Sunday? Naira na Jesus Christ? grin please allow time joooooor!

lazeal:
The budget, which was signed four months and two weeks after presentation, inspired hope in the Nigerian people, but the naira will have none of that, at least for now.

The naira traded at 321 in Kano on Friday, and sellers are trading at relatively the same price on Saturday.

In Abuja however, the naira traded between 321 and 322 from Thursday till Saturday.

Pounds was also trading between 464 and 467 in Nigeria’s commercial cities – Lagos, Kano, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

Speaking at the budget signing on Friday, Buhari said his government, “like no other”, would change the Nigerian economy.

“This government is like no other. We are absolutely committed to changing the structure of the Nigerian economy once and for all,” he said.

Joseph Nnana, deputy governor, financial system surveillance of the CBN, had earlier said that the naira will rise once the budget is passed.

“Distinguished chairman sir, we have $20bn lying idle in various domiciliary accounts of many customers at the various banks across the country,” he had said.

“This is part of the reasons why the naira has continued to slide against the US dollar. The CBN will embark on aggressive liquidity mop-up to enable the naira regain confidence.

“The CBN will not sit down and watch the consistent fall of the naira. After the passage of the 2016 budget, the naira will begin to bounce back. Those who speculate on dollars will have their fingers burnt.”

The naira has shown no reaction to the signing of the 2016 budget, however, analysts believe that the naira will “marginally recover” against other foreign currencies through the implementation process.

Business › Re: My Experience Using Gtbank *737* Transfer Service by bigtt76(f): 7:31am On May 07, 2016
Hahaha ....I try not to risk use any of these services being touted by the banks (especially when it involves GTBank). Use them at your own peril dear undecided

Stalwert:
Hi,

Just Moments Ago....

I was in pickle I had great need to transfer money to a certain someone ..... Well thank God for Gtbank *737* platform which makes transfers convenient requiring only a functioning 1g phone to transfer money so easily.

*737* Fails me twice in a roll tongue

So I picked my phone copied the account number paste it after typing *737*2*10000*#!!@!@!×# and presto... supplied all the information requested and waited for a confirmation the money has been transferred but instead it said "sp service timed out"....
l was like first you don't succeed. try again huh

So I tried again and got the same response again ...sp service timed out. huh

Waited for a while

Then I tried it the 3rd time ... this time it confirmed that the transfer was successful.
I simply put my phone back in my pocket and sat down. grin

Invasion of the text mssg

I brought out my phone to browse and saw a torrent of. messages 6 in total. and opened my text box and saw all 6 mssg were from GTbank .... Immediately I knew they have done me real good. undecided cry
I opened the text mssg and saw that 10000 was deducted twice to the same account. One of the service timed out had actually timed in and transfered the money. I was outrage lipsrsealed angry I won't stand for this and even the paralyzed won't sit for it either.

Frantic call embarassed
I dialed 737 the line was so poor I droped and googled GTbank hotline which gave me 070 line which I dialed and followed the prompt. .. a nice and cordial lady picked up the line asked a series of questions which answered thinking I will get my money back only for the lady to say e pele sir please call the person you sent the money to refund your money there is nothing we can do for you ( no she didn't say e pele na sorry) huh cry undecided lipsrsealed angry angry I was utterly disappointed.

Why would the bank service that timed out send my money and pretend that it hadn't while waiting and lurking around for me to send the money again
and then deduct my money twice?
And the bank cannot do anything about it?

This is just so grade A crappy crap if you ask me.

lalasticala abeg come tell my story make country people learn small lesson.

Stop using razor shavers. Use good clippers and you shouldn't have that issue again. Bumps are caused by in growths as a result of sharing close to the skin. A clipper reduces that riskrisk.

Education › Re: I Applied For MSc But Foreign Supervisor Said School Is Accepting Me For PhD by bigtt76(f): 12:38am On May 05, 2016
You are not skipping MSc but rather combining both so what happens at the end is that instead of graduating with MSc, you get PhD. This does not mean you cannot leave after the completion of course work equivalent to an MSc degree. I guess you applied to a UK university right? Their system is like that even on the MSc level, if you cannot finish up, you still get a diploma certificate to the level of course work you completed successfully.

Team16:
Please oga se.un help me push to the front thread cos I need to reply this mail today.

I have a B.Sc Industrial Chemistry ( 4.01/5), Pgd Chemical Engineering ( Distinction ).

I applied for a Canadian admission for MSc.E Chemical Engineering. Normally for your admission to be successful you need to secure a supervisor whose research interest is similar to yours. I have done that and he encouraged me to apply. I submitted my application and after going through my application with other supporting documents like letter of motivation and others, he sent me a mail this afternoon that they want to consider me PhD instead of MSc I applied for. I'm very confused right now if to accept it or not considering high standard of education abroad as I use to hear, I haven't experienced foreign education before, this is my first. Please note my ultimate goal is to obtain a PhD. Please help me push to the front thread cos I need advice from experienced Nigerians who have studied abroad. Thanks. I appreciate

On a second thought, I don't think it would stop the peddlers from continuing the postings. They would rather use images rather than actual text posts angry Truth is, if Nairaland enlightens the members on the dangers inherent, whoever decides to embrace it does so at his or her own risk.

However, I don't support the peddlers obstructing the free flow of important and interesting posts just because they want to catch the attention of members on such threads. I detest it as much as I do for those members organizing the pageants - MISS Nairaland and MR Naiaraland ....all of whom spam threads with their choices. They also deserve the ban.

I would like to congratulate you and your team for eliminating or reducing the admission scam to the barest minimum.

Seun:
Dear Nairalanders,

We are thinking of completely banning the promotion of forex trading and sports betting on Nairaland.

Forex day-trading and sports betting are fundamentally fraudulent because they're promoted as a quick way of making money whereas due to mathematical facts, the only people who make money are the middlemen and marketers. The "investors" almost always lose their money.

In our experience, it's not enough to warn Nairaland members about the dangers of forex day-trading and sports betting. The promise of quick profit is just too strong for thousands of vulnerable Nairaland members to resist. The only way to protect them is complete censorship.

We believe that the complete ban of such content will make Nairaland a better platform for discussing legitimate entrepreneurship and finance.

What do you think? Please click 'like' if you like the idea; thanks.
