You might not need the NIN for now but best you include to avoid dem future wahala. Make one day Aregbesola no go say all those whose passport does not have NIN should go get another passport like Pantami is doing now

Thanks for your help so far, I kinda figured that out.
Another question please, can one request a new passport with a change of name due to marriage? I selected the change of name option and it took me to the NIS naija portal. I really do not mind using my maiden name but my NIN is in my marriage name. Do I really need the NIN cos on filling the application, the NIN part is not marked as compulsory.

Nice one but I would advise you invest time to read through the thread to gain better insight into your requirements for the visa application. It's not just about what you need but how you present and compose yourself for the application so you don't appear 'schooled' on what to say or do. Look through page one for the various links. If you did that then it does not explain how the 4 million plus was accrued.

Waste of funds. Did the ministry show any sign of driving innovation but was prevented because of its former name prior? Now all old stationeries would be discarded and new ones printed and or purchased to purge the old name. Signage redesigned etc at huge cost

You can get a lawyer to help send a letter to the home office. Not appeal as I don't think that is possible now.

Personal experience of someone I know, visit visa denied, 1st last 2 years, then this year. Got a lawyer here who sent a letter addressing what the VO stated as reason for denial cos it seemed they just copied what was in the last refusal.(Which was what the VO did)
They responded they will review and get back in 3 months. 3 months later, asked that he send his passport and visa was approved.

A more expensive route but was better than just re-applying which will have resulted in another definite refusal. (Stenon this advise is not for you, just try organize study visa for your sis, it's better for her.)

A couple of years ago, when my younger sister applied. She was refused, according to the jobsworth that dealt with her file, my mum's bank statement was FAKE ..........

My younger sister was working and earning well..........

My elder sister and I put our legal wigs on, appealed the decision (had loads of evidence on tow ).......

We headed down to Feltham on the hearing day, within one hour, case was over ........ Immigration judge ruled in our favour ........ Sent a letter to UKBA to issue visa ...........

My younger sister is now fully resident and legal in the UK .....

For those of you thinking and waiting for the Nigerian government to extradite Abba Kiyari to the United states of America to face the FBI, you seem to have forgotten quickly how Buruji Kashamu was indicted in the same Us and he was never sent to America by the Nigerian government., Allen Onyeama is still in Nigeria as we speak. Not extradited. One PDP presidential candidate is still roaming freely after the so called us indictment for fraud. What about one APC leader who we are told is wanted in America for drug related offences?

All these people I mentioned above are ordinary civilians, now you expect a government official to be extradited?

Couldn't have said this any better. Forget all those rules... It does not apply all the time. The stress in hunting for the accommodation alone can cause you mental health issues, get it you have to grapple with transportation and other issues. See... If you can afford to get an accommodation closer to your work place, take it but do not feel comfortable.... Start planning your exit to a better job and pay.

Some people wake up 4am every morning and travel for 3 hours to get to the office just because they want to save on rent..
