Superstars with no bench equals no ring. I would take KCP over Westbrook any day. And AD will have his regular injury bug, which will leave the team depleted for stretches. Add to that, Lebron will not be carrying team load in his 18th year, unless he wants to be injured for good.

The team as constructed could have won a ring this year, they just needed to stay healthy. Well sha, lets see if Lebron can work his magic and make Westbrook fit

We need a centre that can spread the floor, plus a nice 2 guard (bye KCP ) Also, it looks like THT would have a more prominent role next year. I am not sold on Cunningham, and I hope we dont even get the chance to pick him. I hope we pick Jalen Green. This guy is special. Rockets havent attempted a build from scratch in decades, and this is exciting. The closest we came to a rebuild was Steve Francis, who btw was also a second draft pick to the Vancouver Grizzlies. We should have know he would be a coconut head when he refused to play in Vancouver and we traded for him .

We got another shot at rebuilding with Yao Ming, but we screwed that up royally. We really didnt rebuild, just tried to patch up a dysfunctional team. Steve/Yao combo was a sad sight. So much potential, yet nothing. I havent seen this much buzz among Rockets fans since we dumped Steve and got Tmac to join Yao.

I really want to see what Silas can do with Christian Wood and Jalen Green. I hope we dont become the Celtics of the west though, full of young talent going nowhere. Apologies to Roland17

Just last year, Giannis was being flogged in the media. Couldnt make free throws, no jumpshots, cant read double teams and they lost disgracefully in the first round I think. One year later the cat has a serviceable fadeaway, makes his free throws and is unguardable. All this without any superstar additions - just decent PG and good defensive minded PF. He definitely will make a lot of people look bad.

You can always argue that without injuries, the super teams like Clippers, Lakers and Nets would have been in the finals, but that is why we play the games
